The 400 or so detainees at Joint Task Force detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have received approximately 500 holiday greeting cards, said Army Col. Lora Tucker, a spokeswoman for the prison.

Everyone that sent these cards should be thoroughly investigated to determine their loyalty to the U.S.A. If they are muslim, they should join their pals in Gitmo. If they are not, they should be watched very closely.

They may be terrorists who deserve to be there but they still have families and people who care about them. Let them have a Christmas card.

I hated that book. Thankfully, I was able to find and read a copy of the alternative book entitled:

I see where you are coming from however I have to disagree.

We are talking about a South Park video. (And if you read the lyrics the only insult is the use of the F-bomb).

As an adult I can watch this and laugh and not have any problem with it. I could send it to my brother/wife (with a content warning) so my 3-year-old nephew does not see it.

If my brother ever uses South Park as a “likely a reflection of their environment.” to raise my nephew I will be the first one to put a cap in my brothers a$@.

I think most of the posters on HA do not use ““wrong” will not necessarily always be wrong, nor “right” right.” excuse, instead they raise their children with wrong is wrong and right is right, and I certainly hope they do not use South Park to raise their family.

Heck.. it’s the morons who ARE influenced by media that we have to worry about..undying love for Jodie Foster anyone?

They can only be influenced negatively if their morality is already bankrupt.

“wrong” will not necessarily always be wrong, nor “right” right. The definitions, standards, and ultimately personal interpretations of same are fluid in today’s world. And now, more than ever, values are indeed most likely a reflection of their environment.

I disagree completely. The ever-fluctuating values of society do not change what is ultimately right and what is ultimately wrong. There is an unchanging standard of right and wrong, given to us by God. It doesn’t change, and neither does He.

Right will always be right and wrong will always be wrong, it is built into the human conscience. Everyone has their own choices to make

Agreed, our actions are always personal choices. But you miss the point- “wrong” will not necessarily always be wrong, nor “right” right. Sharia law verses our constitution? Values are all over the map- so to speak. Now, more than ever, who are you or I to criticize? My ultimate crime is your personal redemption. Yikes!
