Comical breaks are fine, even enjoyed The Vent, but I expressed my opinion as a consumer of this site that the ever growing number of “idiotic video” links was making Hot Air less of a site–not more.

Michelle didn’t build her reputation, her site or this site on linking to the stupid viral video of the week. She did it by posting on significant events to inform we readers on things we may not be getting from the traditional media.

I don’t apologoze for expressing my opinion that the growing trend over the last couple of days was a direction I didn’t expect Hot Air to take. Again, IMHO, it didn’t add anything to the site and actually hurt it. I stand by that opinion.

I hope you are kidding. even the folks at Hotair need a comical break every now and then.

On the one hand, “comedy isn’t pretty” (as Steve Martin told us many years ago).
On the other hand, PROLONGED comedy (like the continuing and now perpetual Rosie O’The Donald exchanges) are INDEED a form of torture.
All things in moderation, at Christmas time, or any other time of the year. Gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins. Even Allah knows that.

There were six such men working together in England once (Five survive, and they don’t work together as a group much anymore). They “got it”, but they were they the exception, not the rule. Some days…And this is one of them, I think we could really use them again.

I suppose for those who spend their days looking for little amusements on the web, there is no need to post stuff like this here. I’m not one of those guys. If it’s not here or one of my regular sites, I’m probably not gonna see it. I enjoyed it. Thanks, AP.

Anyway, my schmatlzy Christmas story is the old Dragnet show where they are investigating the thief of the baby Jesus from a church creche. At the end of the show, while reporting to the Padre that they have been unable to solve the case, in comes a little latino kid pulling a wagon with the baby Jesu, himself. He said Jesu asked to go for a ride in his new wagon. The kid stuck to his story.
