(Blackberry located left of the family picture)
Gov. Jeb Bush’s official portrait unveiled at the governor’s mansion shows him in his office standing standing next to a picture of his family with his trustworthy BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry made it into the portrait because Bush was said to have been the first “E-governor,” receiving tens of thousands of e-mails and responding to many of them.

He wrote me once. Something about his wealthy foreign uncle in Nigeria had passed away or something.

Jeb has been a clear speaking common sense leader for the State of Floride. In my opinion he has been innovative and very effective. We will miss him. I hope he has a future in a leadership role in the U.S.

Is that Jeb Bush or Don Drysdale?
infidel4life on December 22, 2006 at 6:48 PM
Ditto Sonnyspats 1, Jeb is, I think the pick of the litter!
I hope and pray that he has a future in all of our lives.

I like him. I wish he would change his mind and run for President…

My official portrait has a Commodore 64 and a KISS poster in the background. Color me old-school.

JEB was an excellent gov. Too bad he won’t run for Prez. What we need is an executive (not some senator). And he’s a good one.
I think Charlie Crist will do well too, I’ve met him several times, he’s a decent and genuine man. Very polite and friendly. Approachable and smart. Don’t make a liar outta me Charlie! Too bad I don’t live in FL anymore.

Bush fatigue makes an ‘08 run pointless, he should run in the future say four or eight years from now.

In my official portrait I will caress my .308 while standing on the matching (hard stalked) zebra skin rug wearing only my Jimmy Choos, sipping a gallon of sweet tea.
And, unlike Jebbie’s, will be painted by someone with an opposable thumb.

Well I didn’t want to be the first to state the obvious. What an awful portrait. Almost cartoonish.

He never wrote Terry Shiavo an E-mail, but he did write me one about how bad he felt for having her blood on his hands….

If he were a chimp like his brother, he’d be the first “Eee! Eee!” governor.

He is what he is – ’nuff said!

I’m not sure why everyone is making a big deal about a blackberry. I admit Jeb did write my wife and I back a few times when we emailed him. Although he didn’t write us back when we wrote to him about healthcare. I wonder why?
seejanemom, can I have a copy of that portrait to hang in my living room? Thanks.
