This morning I had the privilege of interviewing Claudia Rosett (which I mispronounce “Ross-ett” in the interview but it’s actually “Rose-ette”) about Kofi Annan’s subsidized NYC apartment, and several of the other scandals he leaves in his wake as he departs the UN. Click to listen below or download the mp3 here.

Today’s Vent also tackles Annan’s l’affaire l’apartment.

What is it going to take for Americans to wake up?! We have no one to blame but ourselves… Let’s just bring on the Amero, let all the “displaced” immigrants in and get it over with already.

Do you think New Yorkers really care?

After all, the big story is Donald Trump and the two peice bimbo Tara Conner.

Maybe the transfat police are the real story?

Another liberal gets a pass.

How DARE they question King Koffi?! Bow to your lord and submit! Long live King Koffi!

Incidentally, the Annan brother Rosett mentions in her story yesterday is the same one who was at the center of Iraq Oil for Food.

Someone ’splain to me how the new SecGen’l was sworn this week, but this nut doesn’t leave office until December 31st. Does it take him that long to clean the cash out if his desk?

The still photo of Kofi Annan on the front page is just right; he looks diseased and crazy.

Parting sentiments for our illustrious Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Look at the picture of Annan on the main Hot Air page. I hate it when these guys raise their fingers like he does in this picture.

Suggesting they are lecturing their lessers. Effectively speaking down to us ‘common folk’ and reflecting their true disdain for us. Muslim Imams regularly use this same gesture.

Kofi cannot answer this question till he has talked to and received advice from Barney Frank.

Slime! Him and every member of his family!

Good work, Bryan. Rosett ought to have won a Pulitzer for her Oil-for-Food reporting and any chance to get her talking is worthwhile.

The questions should be directed to NY/NYC officials. How is it that this was ever alowed to happen? You don’t think that Bloomberg and Guilian know/knew exactly what was going on? It is our government that allows this to happen and where our anger should be directed.

“Roosevelt Island…turned into an enclave of globetrotting diplomats…at the expense of N.Y. taxpayers…all within the view of the U.N. – which is no coincidence.”

Indeed – it’s a lot easier for U.S. intelligence to bug several adjacent buildings than to plant equipment all over town! (sorry :-)

In fact, wouldn’t surprise me if the Feds asked the N.Y. district attorney to “back off” if they ever did push the issue -
