Damn, but David Zucker is good.

steveegg on December 19, 2006 at 12:55 PM

The YouTube commenters are already going nuts.

Dave Shay on December 19, 2006 at 12:56 PM

Oh,I am on my way to check that out Dave, this is soooooo good.

bbz123 on December 19, 2006 at 12:56 PM

wonder how long it’ll take before youtube bans it. any guesses?

pullingmyhairout on December 19, 2006 at 12:57 PM

“Let’s just hope this time we don’t lose another 50 million people because we trusted a madman.”

The truth hurts………..

PinkyBigglesworth on December 19, 2006 at 12:58 PM

The not-so-funny thing about this is we’ll be watching this video again a year or two from now shaking our heads, asking how we let ourselves get taken to the cleaners again.

flipflop on December 19, 2006 at 12:58 PM

mahmoud, do you like to watch gladiator movies?

jummy on December 19, 2006 at 1:00 PM

In 10, 9, 8, 7….

steveegg on December 19, 2006 at 1:01 PM

EXCELLENT!!!!

The part that really worries me about all of this ISG and the ApeasoCrats is the future.

Ask the Chinese, Terrorists, etc….

What’s the longest that the US last in a war against anybody???? 3 years?? 4 years??? DING DING DING…

Apeasement has never gotten ANYBODY anywhere!!!!

Those who wish to dominate everybody, see apeasemers as weak. (i.e. Bin Laden-Somalia, Hitler-England, etc, etc)

What happened to GW’s…dare I say…..Balls?

Airline passenger (Imam): “Durka durka Mohammad jihad!”

Flight attendant: “Huh?”

Old lady: “Excuse me, I speak jive. He said he’s not feeling well and needs a seatbelt extender.”

Dave Shay on December 19, 2006 at 1:04 PM

Sweet Satire!

Drtuddle on December 19, 2006 at 1:08 PM

As always the best humor – like this – is based in truth. James Baker, aka Jimmy Carter’s soul mate, is a disgusting bootlicker of tyrants’ feet and an Chamberlin-esque appeaser of the first order.

thirteen28 on December 19, 2006 at 1:14 PM

What amazes me a bit is that the Zucker’s are alums of Madsion,WI, Brezerkeley of the Midwest, and yet they get it.

bbz123 on December 19, 2006 at 1:14 PM

David got mugged by the reality of 9/11. Dunno about brother Jerry or long-time running mate Jim Abrahams.

steveegg on December 19, 2006 at 1:19 PM

lol!! and so true.

x95b10 on December 19, 2006 at 1:23 PM

My son was sitting on the other computer in the office as I played it…

His comment???

“Thats a big burn…”

Mine?

Yep… gonna leave a mark…

Romeo13 on December 19, 2006 at 1:30 PM

Wonderful but, a bit too much close to the truth for our “friends” on the left. BWAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAAAHA!

I’m getting sucked into the madness of the left’s conspiracy-fever-swamps with all this Baker bs!

Jaibones on December 19, 2006 at 1:42 PM

*LOL* Brilliant!
The Baker Commission flamed out and hopefully isnt being taken seriously anywhere outside of Tehran, Damascus and Pelosi’s DC office.

labwrs on December 19, 2006 at 1:48 PM

Good stuff, good stuff. I loved the 3 Card Monte. Perfect analogy.

It’s also being taken “seriously” by ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBCNYTWPLATDUKosetal, and feel free to call them Shirley.

steveegg on December 19, 2006 at 1:59 PM

2 minutes and 20 seconds explains more than weeks of yapping. Churchill called, Reagan called it, Bush called it.

right2bright on December 19, 2006 at 3:25 PM

*boom* Great bit.

Mojave Mark on December 19, 2006 at 3:39 PM

Sadly, this is the feeling that I get.
That’s it’s 1938 all over again.

:(

This is a noble fight we are in.
Sadly, we are not willing to bear the burden or pay the cost.

Kai on December 19, 2006 at 3:44 PM

It would seem anyone who appeases the enemy is a Chamberlain. (Take note left leaning peace niks).

infidel on December 19, 2006 at 4:16 PM

Anyone hear Baker’s speech? I listened to some of it and I almost laughed when he uttered that the first thing he was going to do is go to iraq and sit down and talk to the command people there to find out what the next step is.

Those were not the exact words but they are close. I was thinking to myself…umm..you just did the IRAQ sell out report, weren’t you suppose to talk to them then? Based on the crap in that report, I had an inkling that the panel didn’t talk to the proper people nor did they want to.

I scoured the internet trying to find the transcript but could not find it. I did find his inaugural speech but it didn’t go into so it could not have been that speech he gave.

His inaugural speech had one thing in particular that was nerve wracking:

http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1079/is_n2145_v89/ai_7613679

Over the last few weeks, I’ve learned a lot about the job. I find the more I learn about it, the more humble I become.

Am I the only one that is nervous that he is learning A LOT about the job in the last few weeks and is spending time being humbled? I was hoping we’d get someone in there that was driven and knew his stuff!

Saturday Night Live has new material../cheer lol.

I am very disappointed that he has strong ties to doing business with the saudi’s against our 9/11 families no less! I could never represent other countries against our own country people in our courts.

I do not understand his appointment to this post. There had to be better people :( .

Highrise on December 19, 2006 at 4:30 PM

DZ, well done.

labwrs on December 19, 2006 at 1:48 PM

How are you labwrs? Hope you have a great pre-holiday season.

It’s the latter that worries me…

Entelechy on December 19, 2006 at 4:34 PM

The guy who plays Ahmi is groomed, presentable and clean. Not the closest pick. However, parody on point/s.

Entelechy on December 19, 2006 at 4:40 PM

This was better than David Zucker’s commercial deemed ‘too hot’for the GOP.

And here I thought the talent in Hollywood was all gone

Opinionnation on December 19, 2006 at 7:24 PM

The current situation has the feel of 1938 all over again. Unfortunately, we don’t have a Churchill shouting from the truth from the rooftops. Bush should be doing this, everyday, all day. Use the bully pulpit and pound this stuff home. The Islamofascists are homocidal maniacs, there is no negotiating with them. Either they will kill us, or we will kill them. There is no middle ground when dealing with evil.

On Chamberlain’s behalf, he was man enough to admit how wrong he was when war broke out. He also did not spend the entire timespan of WWII screaming about how evil his country was, to actually kill his country’s enemies. Another liberal mugged by reality.

still468 on December 19, 2006 at 11:48 PM

oops one too many froms in that second sentence, sorry.

still468 on December 19, 2006 at 11:49 PM

The guy who plays Ahmi is groomed, presentable and clean.

He’s also about two feet too tall. The nutjob is barely 5 feet. But that is a quibble.

Mallard T. Drake on December 20, 2006 at 12:36 AM

Great video, but I think that Zucker owes Neville Chamberlain an apology.

And probably Hitler too.

Misha I on December 20, 2006 at 12:12 PM

I was once told how yesterday’s misery is today’s comedy…I now understand what that means after seeing this video.

thirteen28 on December 19, 2006 at 1:14 PM

Interesting twist: the 2 people responsible for Dubya becoming president–Baker and O’Connor–authored the report that enviserated his administration. Oh irony.

honora on December 20, 2006 at 5:12 PM

Honora, shouldn’t you be defending Sandy Berger on the other post. He is the one that your party supports. Our people make poor judgement calls, your people steal classified documents, hide them under a trailer to be disposed of later (often called treason).
Oh the irony.
