dalewalt, I agree that we shouldn’t get into a mud-slinging contest over the issues with libs because it tends to take all the focus away from what is actually being debated (much like how the Dems did for the 06 elections). However, with that being said, I think the point here is that Penn (who is about as flawed an individual as there is) is out with his “laundry list” demanding that Bush be impeached (along with every other enemy of the fringe left), as if he is some well-respected and knowledgeable politician – when in reality, he is just an actor (someone who makes a living pretending to be someone else). An elitist rich actor who thinks that his opinion means more than it really does.

I think he is a good actor, but that’s it. He comes off as mentally deranged when he does stuff like this. Seriously, this is the same moron that went to Iraq to meet with Saddam before we invaded – basically to undermine our position.

The best way to deal with the likes of Sean Penn is avoid mention, give them the indiference and lack of attention they deserve, and avoid any entertainment with him in it.

I don’t think he is mentally challenged. But I also don’t think he is worth debating. He obviously gets his news from “alternative” sources. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a Truther. How does one have a battle of wits with an unarmed man?

Arguing with someone who is either intellectually dishonest or is an outright conspiracy theorist is a waste of time. I prefer laughing at them. Nothing cuts them to the bone quicker than reducing their argument to a silly little caricature.
