Spicoli calls for Bush’s impeachment

posted at 3:51 pm on December 19, 2006 by Allahpundit

In remarks prepared for a speech last night to the Creative Coalition. Newsbusters has excerpts but they neglect to emphasize the one genuinely provocative wrinkle in what he said. Follow his logic — he’s got a laundry list of hawks he wants to discredit and he opts to do so by identifying their most embarrassing or unsavory feature. Anything jump out at you?

Who were those mothers and fathers believing in?! We know it’s not the administration alone, but a culture at large, cloaking itself in self-righteousness, religion, and adolescent hero-dreaming machismo. Would they have believed Rush Limbaugh if they’d known he was high as a kite on OxyContin? Would they have believed the factually impaired Bill O’Reilly if they knew he was massaging his rectum with a loofah while telephonically harassing a staffer? Hannity, had they known he was simply a whore to the cause of his pimps – Murdoch and Ailes? Or the little bow-tie putz, if they knew all he was seeking was a good laugh from Jon Stewart? Maybe our countrymen and women were listening to Ted Haggert [sic] while he was whiffing meth and boning a muscle-headed gigolo? Or Mark Foley seeking junior weenis? Joe Lieberman, sitting Shiva? And Toby Keith, singing about how big his boots are?

If you don’t see it on first pass, try reading it again in, oh, say, Mel Gibson’s voice.

Does Spicoli have a little problem with, um, “Zionists”?

Update: Semi-related — we’re about due for another apology on The View.

As for Jewess, Blowhar, she will apologize when….

Nope. Sorry. Can’t think of a time when that would actually happen.

…then he ordered a pizza.

N. O'Brain on December 19, 2006 at 3:58 PM

Wow, not only does he single out a Jew who dares to practise his religion, he attempts to belittle said Jew for praying for the dead. The horror!

When do we get a rebuttal from Mr. Hand?

KennyB on December 19, 2006 at 4:01 PM

sitting Shiva

You see the mirrors have to be covered. Spicoli can not gaze lovingly into his eyes and practice his ACTING faces.

KelliD on December 19, 2006 at 4:02 PM

Kind of confused invocation of Jewishness, too; when and for whom was Joe supposed to be sitting shiva?

Perhaps…for America.

Joy Behar is not Jewish. I looked it up. She’s Italian — (like you know who). Kick her out of the tribe, Allah!

And he wonders why his movies aren’t selling.

Seriously, this idiot doesn’t realize what amunition he is supplying to AQ’s propaganda machine. Another sound bite to be put to music while video of IEDs attacking our soldiers. Allah be praised!

Doesn’t he have to plan another trip to Iran?

Shaddup, spicoli.

First, AP includes the trailer of “I Am Sam”, making the connection that Penn is retarded. Then, someone else included Rosie’s movie, to try to make the connection that she’s retarded.

Isn’t crap like this what we get upset with libs about? You know, like Behar making the Nazi reference, or even Penn’s references to the troubles some of the conservatives have had? Or some of the things that libs have spewed about MM? Do we really need to be this childish?

dalewalt on December 19, 2006 at 4:19 PM

As you hear the hate spewing forth from these socialist wannabe’s, it’ll be interspersed with antisemitic plaudits. Then can’t help themselves, they’re drawn to antisemitism like moths to a flame – all socialists, whether Lenonists, Marxists, Nazi’s, or whatever label is on the American Hollywood-style socialist.

Common denominator?

First, AP includes the trailer of “I Am Sam”, making the connection that Penn is mentally challenged. Then, someone else included Rosie’s movie, to try to make the connection that she’s mentally challenged.

Isn’t sh*t like this what we get upset with libs about? You know, like Behar making the Nazi reference, or even Penn’s references to the troubles some of the conservatives have had? Or some of the things that libs have spewed about MM? Do we really need to be this childish?

(This is my second post; I changed the term I used for Penn to ‘mentally challenged’, in case filters blocked the other word I was using. Sorry if it posts twice.)

dalewalt on December 19, 2006 at 4:22 PM

Sean – that’s a very wonderful choice.

journeyscarab on December 19, 2006 at 4:30 PM

Hell, I’m for Bush’s impeachment too, but not for the reasons Mr. Spicoli wants them.

Anyone who conducts a major operation on foreign soil with as much reticence and non-assertiveness as President George W. McClellan has done should have the reins of power taken away from them ASAP – they obviously don’t have the balls (thank you, Michelle) to run our foreign policy properly.

Seems to me this administration is so sensitive to the names being hurled at them by the “loyal” opposition at every turn, they’ve lost the will to win. “Stop arguing with us and we’ll stop fighting the war on terror. Deal or no deal?”

mikeomatic on December 19, 2006 at 4:31 PM

He should meet Danny Bonaduce.

On most ocasions, I’d agree with you dalewalt. But the $hit spewing from Penn’s mouth is pure gold.

Fire with fire.

I agree. These morons need to be called out, and their ignorance needs to be pointed out.

Rick on December 19, 2006 at 4:44 PM

Isn’t it ironic that he spews his venom by zeroing on all the superficial attributes of those individuals that he loathes so much. We all need to send him a postcard and tell him that Jesus loves him in SPITE of the fact that he is the most butt-ugly, scrawny, hairless, ill-tempered pathetic moron that has ever graced the silver screen. Ya’ think? Naaah. That would that make us as bad as he is.

and adolescent hero-dreaming machismo.

Let’s see…

Sean Penn’s carrier was made by playing “adolescent hero-dreaming machismo” type characters.

Yet anyone following his example is evil?

Is anyone NOT missing the Irony?

Rick on December 19, 2006 at 4:44 PM

Yeah, so point it out. But to do it by representing them as mentally challenged, well, you’re not getting your point across. It’s just degenerating into a playground game of who called who a worse name.

I don’t think he is mentally challenged. But I also don’t think he is worth debating. He obviously gets his news from “alternative” sources. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a Truther. How does one have a battle of wits with an unarmed man?

Arguing with someone who is either intellectually dishonest or is an outright conspiracy theorist is a waste of time. I prefer laughing at them. Nothing cuts them to the bone quicker than reducing their argument to a silly little caricature.

If the name of the country we’d gone into was Paparazzia, ‘Penny’ the peacenik would’ve been a regular Audie Murphy by now.

Teddy on December 19, 2006 at 5:50 PM

It is a shame that Sean Penn has been cast in some interesting films – with him in them I will not see them for the forseeable future.

The best way to deal with the likes of Sean Penn is avoid mention, give them the indiference and lack of attention they deserve, and avoid any entertainment with him in it.

Maybe if we ignore the troll he will simply fade away into nothingness.

Celebrities. To hell with all of them. I will not buy a ticket or CD-anything from some puffed up moonbat. Most of my former favorite entertainers don’t deserve another penny. They are all free to speak their mind and I am free to oppose them. I want the public to be aware and just stop feeding them money. The troops are the real heroes nowadays. Say what you want about reality TV – each program puts another actor in the unemployment line.

Buck Turgidson on December 20, 2006 at 12:24 AM

Yeah, so point it out. But to do it by representing them as mentally challenged, well, you’re not getting your point across. It’s just degenerating into a playground game of who called who a worse name.

dalewalt, I agree that we shouldn’t get into a mud-slinging contest over the issues with libs because it tends to take all the focus away from what is actually being debated (much like how the Dems did for the 06 elections). However, with that being said, I think the point here is that Penn (who is about as flawed an individual as there is) is out with his “laundry list” demanding that Bush be impeached (along with every other enemy of the fringe left), as if he is some well-respected and knowledgeable politician – when in reality, he is just an actor (someone who makes a living pretending to be someone else). An elitist rich actor who thinks that his opinion means more than it really does.

I think he is a good actor, but that’s it. He comes off as mentally deranged when he does stuff like this. Seriously, this is the same moron that went to Iraq to meet with Saddam before we invaded – basically to undermine our position.

Rick on December 20, 2006 at 12:45 AM

The bottom line is that these people are only famous for having other people tell them what to say and how to say it. Their whole lives revolve around convincing others that they are someone else than they really are. They can dance to a director’s tune like good little monkeys, but that’s about it. Who is their puppeteer when they’re on the world stage? How can anybody possibly take seriously anything they say on any topic?

“There you are!”

James on December 20, 2006 at 6:39 AM

I’ve read most of what he said (as much as I could stomach)on the Drudge link. I know that it’s been 15 years since I was an English major. Is it just me, or can he really not string several sentences together to make coherent thoughts? I simply cannot follow most of what he is trying to say. Something about carrots.
