Reminds me of the 'Artificial Intelligence' bad guys on Space: Above & Beyond. But I guess that makes it 'nuanced'. Blech! Just gimme good old fashioned bad guys, aliens, robots, whatever. Bad guys that blend into our species is too realistic (islamic terrorists). I watch these kinda shows for escapism, not comparisons to reality. Mortis, that's cool.
