Ahmadinejad to Christians: Jesus is on our side
posted at 1:30 pm on December 19, 2006 by Allahpundit
Jesus don’t know nothing ’bout no Holocaust, apparently.
“My one question from the Christians is: What would Jesus do if he were present in the world today? What would he do before some of the oppressive powers of the world who are in fact residing in Christian countries? Which powers would he revive and which of them would he destroy?” the Iranian president asked.
“If Jesus were present today, who would be facing him and who would be following him?” He added…
“All I want to say is that the age of hardship, threat and spite will come to an end someday and God willing Jesus would return to the world along with the emergence of the descendant of the Islam’s Holy Prophet, Imam Mahdi and wipe away every tinge of oppression, pain and agony from the face of the world,” Ahmadinejad said.
Bibi Netanyahu’s cranking up the rhetoric too, but not the president. He prefers non-verbal communication.

Simple answer; declare this world over and send Ahmadinejad to his well-deserved eternity in Hell.
steveegg on December 19, 2006 at 1:38 PM
Never mind shopping at Wally world. Would Jesus advocate the use of
a) IEDs,
b) RPGs,
c) poison gas,
d) simple beheadings,
e) nuclear weapons
as the prefered method for destroying Israel?

Yes, of course, my post was sarcasm.

He would save one billion muslims from their hideous fate, and change them. They would become Christians, they would stop praying to some mythical god and their criminal satanic leader. They would stop killing themselves and millions of others. He would SAVE THEM. All of them.
Read at least part of my link above.

Well since they deny the legitmacy of the Bible in favor of the mad writings of a sun-stroked epilectic, ‘Jesus’ will do whatever they say he’ll do.
This guy is really starting to harsh my X-mas buzz.

Carnak to Ahmadinejad:
May an unclean yak have an accident on your toupee.
May a diseased yak drop his cud in your hooped skirt.
May you fall asleep under a camel with post nasal drip.
May the swami of Bagdad squat on your fez.

I wonder how the press would receive a Bush speech that included a “return of Allah” hypothetical?

My one question from the Muslims is: What would Imam Mahdi do if he were present in the world today?
Probably be forced into poverty by a corrupt, oppressive religion/government, brain washed into blaming all of your ills on the west, and told the only way you can ever find happiness is to blow yourself up, taking as many innocent non-believers as possible.
PinkyBigglesworth on December 19, 2006 at 2:00 PM
I read your link, shooter. We have GOT to cut through all of the political correctness and get people to start reading. The verses out of the Quran and other Islamic texts at that link should not only be required reading in all schools in the United State (public and private), but our school children should REQUIRED to memorize those Satanic verses. U.S. citizens are going to die in blissful ignorance simply because they do not understand who the enemy is.

Rofl. Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Bart and Todd are competing in the mini golf tournament, and Homer tells Ned to not bother praying, because he already did.

Yeah, all this rhetoric is getting annoying; let’s just have another world war and get to the end of this (or to another cold war at least).

Jesus? You mean the “King of the Jews” Jesus? Yea, I wonder whose side he would be on, Mr Holocaust Denyer.

Imonamadjihad then added, “And belive me, I’m a guy who knows a little something about oppression. Pain and agony? Let me tell you about pain and agony. Try hanging gay couples together at the same time. Now that’s good pain and agony.”
BohicaTwentyTwo on December 19, 2006 at 2:16 PM
That link seems to have all the proof behind it. I’m reading the entire book online cause I cant get somewhere to buy it fast enough.
I’ve sent this link to dozens of people, think about doing the same.
National Geographic is advertising some demeaning ‘Jesus extra lives’ story….AT CHRISTMAS TIME, and we can’t find anyone to run the truth about islam and muhammed(mayhiscriminalassbeforgotten) because of FEAR!
Thats what they do folks, 1400 years of fear, and they’ve waited 1400 years to find a powerful nation that will stand by and apologize for them.
There is no coincidence this is happening now, we are ALLOWING IT!!! Islam has had the same marching orders for 14 centuries. It is our fault if we allow this to continue.
PLEASE DO SOMETHING.

There is no mystery about it. He would do precisely what he did when facing the raveges and excesses of the Roman empire. Just follow your bible and change the names.
RC2 on December 19, 2006 at 2:32 PM
Now I’m really confused. Does Ahmadinejad believe in Jesus? Doesn’t that make him a Christian?
Ann on December 19, 2006 at 2:36 PM
The muslims bought stories from the Christians in the 7th century, changed them to their liking.
Muhammad is supposed to be(according only to the moslims) along the same blood line as Jesus, David, Moses…..

You can believe in Jesus without being a Christian…lots of people do. A Christian is someone who makes Jesus their Lord and therefore their savior. (Lord meaning we do what He wants us to, we give our life over to Him to seek then do His will.)
WWJD? He would show love and truth to people in Iran who would spread his message so far and wide that there would be a wordlwide conversion and only the truly evil and unrepentant would follow evil leaders like Ahmadinejad. That’s what He did last time He was here. Of course, when He comes again, there’s a different plan to be carried out. :-)

OK mahmoud, you ask Him when you meet Him.

aunursa on December 19, 2006 at 2:55 PM
On the bright side, now that the guy’s talking about Jesus even liberals have a reason to despise him.
Blacklake on December 19, 2006 at 2:57 PM
Let’s arrange a meeting between Jesus and mahmoud, then he can tell us … no wait, that won’t work, he’ll be dead … and in hell.
Tony737 on December 19, 2006 at 2:57 PM
The Koran says that ‘Issa’ (who, by the way, wasn’t really executed by the Romans; Muhammad was apparently a Crucifixion Truther in his spare time) will come back and help lead the jihad against the Evil Jooooooz, which makes him the exact opposite of what Christian prophecy says.
Hm… A guy who they claim is Jesus, but is really his opposite… There ought to be a catchy name for that, don’t you think? You know, how a positron is the opposite of an electron, or an anti-proton is the opposite of a proton?
Maybe some clever marketing person can come up with the right name. Jesustron? Too geeky. There’s got to be a way to describe something that’s ‘anti--’ Christ.’ I’m stumped, myself. Maybe Jon Cary can figure it out.

He wouldn’t be picking the side of any earthly dominion, government, or power.
He would be preaching/teaching us to abandon our earthly desires, put our personal adgendas aside, and Worship Him for his gift of Saving Grace.
And probably kick the Muslims and everyone else out/off of the temple mount like He did the money changers.
Lawrence on December 19, 2006 at 3:03 PM
Even Satan knows who Jesus is, so just knowing who Jesus is doesn’t make one a Christian.
Believing that Jesus is The Christ, The Messiah of the Torah, and not rejecting His free gift of Saving Grace, is what makes one a Christian. {At least according to what Jesus taught.}

He just doesn’t get it, Jesus could care less about powers (he has it all) he cares about individuals.
Great to know that he recognizes he needs a Jew to help him straighten out the world.

Jesus came to be a sacrafice for sin the first time. The next time He comes it will be to exact judgment on the world. He will return as King over His creation large and in charge.
He won’t accompany the pedophile pervert prophet of the moon god of Arabia. The pervert prophet will stay put where he presently resides.

“My one question from the Christians is: What would Jesus do if he were present in the world today?”
He would say something like “Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them,” or even “And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.”
Does that answer your question?
RedinBlueCounty on December 19, 2006 at 3:47 PM
Nothing mystifying about this question. Christians can answer this one confidently without hesitation. The Holy Bible makes it clear that when Jesus returns, He will gather HIS people to Himself from ALL nations, not a select few. Furthermore, at that time, ALL earthy powers or nations will cease to have ANY authority over ANYONE, and EVERY sensient being on earth shall get on their knees and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. From that time forward, there will be no other recognized power or authority on earth or in the heavens other than the Lord Himself.
CyberCipher on December 19, 2006 at 3:55 PM
Oh yeah, and I almost forgot, just so Ahmadinejad understands me clearly:
“May a thousand camels spit in your Starbuck mocha macchiato!”
CyberCipher on December 19, 2006 at 4:10 PM
If Jesus was just a man, and if He came back, Imonamadjihad (good one) would behead him for calling Himself God/Son of God. If He is not just a man, then Ahmad… would be getting cast into the lake o’ fire. So either way, Ah… has no valid point at all (from an intellectual standpoint, of course). But what does he care? He’s trying to get the low-hanging fruit: the idiots who are willing to accept his overtures to receive their appeasement for the sake of postponing violence.
urbancenturion on December 19, 2006 at 4:26 PM
I am not disagreeing with your sentiment, but if I was going to have American school children memorizing ANY religious texts, the Koran would be other than on the top of the list. If it’s illegal to acknowledge the existence of the Bible on government controlled land, then the same must apply to all religious texts.
Children will learn who their allies and enemies are, in both the physical and spiritual sense, through an understanding of the Holy Bible long before they would using the Koran.
Jesus is the Creator of this world.
Colossians 1:12-20
If Iminnadinnerjacket doesn’t believe that, then he has no viable answer to the question. To think that the Architect of the Earth is nothing more than a prophet, and of no more importance than Muhammad (MHRIH) is his right as a thinking individual. But Jesus’ own words don’t allow that position.
John 14:6
Either Jesus believed those words, or he did not. If he did not, then he was a fraud when he spoke them, certainly no prophet of God, and unworthy to be considered alongside any other religous person.
If Jesus believed those words, then they were either true or false. If false, then he was either a megalomaniac, or mentally deranged, and again, unworthy to be called a prophet.
C. S. Lewis explained it better than anyone, and allowed but three choices of who/what Jesus is based on his own words: Liar, lunatic, or Lord and Messiah. To claim that He was simply a good religious teacher, leader, prophet, etc. is not an available choice, because a good man wouldn’t attempt to make people believe that he was God incarnate.

He has the nerve to bring up Jesus when he says that Israel will be wiped off the face of the earth? This guy will say anything /boggle It reminds me of how much he probably puffed out his chest when he penned his *letter* to the American people and actually thought we’d give a crap lol.
Highrise on December 19, 2006 at 4:44 PM
Let’s break this down for Ahmadwhateverjad…
If Jesus were to return today, He would rule his Kingdom along with His Bride.
Christ doesn’t judge governments, He judges people individually based upon their walk of faith.
When Christ returns, no other power or authority will rule. They will either be destroyed or rendered impotent.
We can only each answer for ourselves. As for me, I choose to follow the Lord today, tomorrow, and into eternity.
I must’ve missed this in the New Testament. So it’ll be Jesus and His Islamic friend who will return. I think this “Mahdi” character will appear first, as others have before him (John 4: 1-4).
CliffHanger on December 19, 2006 at 4:48 PM
Jesus came in peace … once!
The next time He comes, it will be with a sword!
He will reign over a thousand years of peace but only after eliminating anyone who doesn’t know that He is Lord!
It won’t be pretty for the Jew-haters when the King of the Jews returns!

Man, I love this poem. It works everywhere:
Arma Virumque
By Ambrose Bierce
“Ours is a Christian army”; so he said
A regiment of bangomen who led.
“And ours a Christian navy,” added he
Who sailed a thunder-junk upon the sea.
Better they know than men unwarlike do
What is an army, and a navy too.
Pray God there may be sent them by-and-by
The knowledge what a Christian is, and why.
For somewhat lamely the conception runs
Of a brass-buttoned Jesus firing guns.
Nonfactor on December 19, 2006 at 9:08 PM
Summary: If a Christian God did exist then he definitely wouldn’t be on anyone’s side in a bloody war. The “God is on our side” argument is laughable.

He would take a poll, analyze the results, send out different scenarios of action to the various new outlets, read the poll results from those, choose the course of action that would result in the best chance of obtaining the major portion of acceptance, develop an exit plan in case polls shift, call a news conference, make a speach, make sure all supporters have the talking points–and only those 3 points, develop a slogan to present those points, and repeat those points at every question. Watch the polls, and start over again; forever and ever…amen.
Assuming Jesus is a democrat.
