Audio: Tammy Bruce and Charles Johnson on blogs, Carter, and the flying imams

posted at 9:40 pm on December 16, 2006 by Allahpundit

Full plate tonight for TB and CJ, who also managed to squeeze in a little analysis of Time’s man of the year on the fly. Thanks to each of them for giving me a heads up on this; I got both segments this time instead of just one. Enjoy.

I’ll but her a drink if she comes by the Lizard Lounge.

I like Charles Johnson, and check LGF every day, but he really needs to change is photo. When I first saw it, I thought it was Ward Churchill (sorry, CJ!).

We really need a “Preview” page (and I think JWF will agree). My post should say he needs to change his photo, and I think JWF wants to buy her a drink.

Sigh…

I like LGF for the info, the posts & discussions in the threads, and for CJ’s local photos and whatnot (I grew up up there in LA/OC).

I started to lose respect for Time’s ‘person of the year’ a long time ago when they named Ted Turner in 1991 when he was still dating that commie traitor bitch Hanoi Jane Fonda, just before they married. I then lost all of it when they co-named Mandela, De Klerk, Rabin and Arafat as “The Peacemakers”… what a crock.

By the way, George W. Bush holds the record at being named Time Person of the Year, 3 times. HA!

We really need a “Preview” page

Good luck with that. I’ve mentioned that same thing about 10x in various posts and e-mailed AP & TIPS & MM about that about 5x… no response what-so-ever. I guess we’re stuck with proof reading very closely before hitting Submit. I’d also like to find out why many posts don’t ever appear and some appear immediately

We need a real forum instead of a comment section too!

SilverStar, Bush deserves to be named Man of the Decade, but not by that commie rag Time.

Dubya liberated 24 million Afghans and 26 million Iraqis. 20 years from now we’ll be talkin’ about how Bush got the ball rollin’ and now Iran is free, Syria is free, Libya is free, countries all over the M.E. are holding elections, voting for pro-democracy leaders who fight to destroy terrorism in their nations. Terrorism will be stamped out over there before it ever has a chance to come here and Bush will get the credit he deserves because by then the media will have shifted to the right, lefty college professors will retire and be replaced by conservative teachers with real world experience, and REAL Republicans will hold majorities in every branch of govt…

… I hope. And pray.

Tony737 on December 16, 2006 at 11:30 PM

I agree. I found it funny Dubya’s been honored by that rag 3x and holds the record. But to be fair, one of his Time awards was co-awarded to his Dad.

Yes it would be good, but look at this.

Owrhertse, you rildapy dovecisr taht it’s jsut a polarr isolilun, and not a putailralrcy deep slacrholy tutrh taht’s been iterampd to you in yuor eimal.

Whole Word reading is the wrong thing to give credit for anything, given how many illiterates it’s produced. It’s mostly a crutch.

The more familiar the words, and the context, the easier it is. Who knows what coxlobmebayorghibn is? Or vegolemgufoseprernshenn?

Though the mind can recreate meaning (or create meaning) from the most garbled crap you can imagine.

Oh come on now, I’ve been saving that for two years, and you just have to step on it. I’m crushed.

RD: Hey, I was behind on my “crush your enemies” quota.

Cheer up, at least now I can go off to the “burqa on a bus” threads to fill my “hear the lamentations of their women” quota.

:)

Have fun! What a deal those muslim men have there. Female in a bag. I know, not PC. But funny anyway….

I heartily agree with rmgraha on both of his early posts!

The only problem is that they have too much in common, they both like girls.

“rockemronnie,”

They both like girls? Quite an astute obervation!

Here is a thought that mankind has been pondering for eons of time.

If a man likes women is he then a gay lesbian American woman trapped inside a heterosexual male body?

Thoughts to ponder.

This totally rocks. Imagine if our elected GOP leaders had half the smarts and guts as these two.

I was thinking that Kofi might have a nice little internship lined up for him at the Carter Center.
