Well why bother? Hillary/Obama has already been declared the winner. Or was it the threat of Arkancide?

Tony737 on December 15, 2006 at 11:43 PM

A victim of Obamamania!

Clark1 on December 15, 2006 at 11:51 PM

Or was it the threat of Arkancide?

The Demos since Clinton are more and more like the Mafia; Bayh didn’t wanna wake up with that horse head in his bed, or worse.

….and I want that crazy beady-eyed bitch to run–think of her answering questions in public, freaking out during a presidential debate, coming apart under pressure, cracking open at the seams. It will be the Show of Shows

Democrats would never go for someone who’s that normal looking anyway… hey, maybe Alan Colmes should run?

Watcher on December 16, 2006 at 12:13 AM

Um, who? And the election is nearly two years away! Why the devil do we care? Everyone’s laying odds on Obama or Clinton for the Dems, Giuliani/Romney/McCain for the Repubs. When these political also-rans drop out of a race that by all rights shouldn’t start for another YEAR or more, WHY DO WE CARE?

Now, if it had been someone colorful, like the deranged REVEREND Sharpton or (God forbid) Charlie Rangel, then perhaps the auto wreck syndrome would demand our attention (you know the one, where you can’t turn away from the auto wreck precisely because it IS so awful).

who cares?

CanaryinaCoalMine on December 16, 2006 at 12:48 AM

Bayh who? Is this like the ghey?

infidel4life on December 16, 2006 at 1:56 AM

Its due to insider stuff. The big backers of the Democrats already have picked their horses. Bayh probably got told he wouldnt get the kind of big backing you need to run for the white house. his Dad ran for President in 1976 so would know some of the mojo needed to win.

Same reason Hilary didnt run in 2004. She didnt have the big wigs behind her. She is firming the mover and shakers up now. Bayh is smart enough to know he cant win without them

Kocinivich however is too stupid to even know he is a hopeless loser.

It will be the Hillary/Obamba show…everyone else is just jockeying for positions

Just out of curiosity, what happens to that money?

SnakeintheGrass on December 16, 2006 at 3:28 AM

I was not aware that he was in the race.

You’ve got it almost right man! Watch everybody but the witch drop out one at a time (including Osama Yo’ Mama). They will drop out or they may find themselves dead in the park. Don’t forget the FBI files she and Billy accumulated during their first few days in office. She will be nominated without ever subjecting herself to any serious debates or questioning. Oh – she will appear on the Larry King show, Meet The Press and The Today Show where the hosts will be peeing in their pants with their softball questions which her staff has provided beforehand. This woman is evil!!

OBX Pete on December 16, 2006 at 4:24 AM

I’m glad that Bayh won’t be running. The guy runs a good race [for a liberal] and would have been problematic for the Republican nominees.

I support the Hitlary/Osama ticket. It will make the debates worth wattching as they will be a disaster against anyone except for McCain.

DannoJyd on December 16, 2006 at 7:16 AM

Bayh was ok, certainly better than Hillary, Kerry, Gore or that lot. Having said that I wouldnt have voted for him unless the Republicans lose their minds and field someone like Jerry Falwell or something =P.

Condi/JEB vs Hillary/Obama

Tony737 on December 16, 2006 at 8:31 AM

Perhaps the Hildabeast called him up and read some tidbits from his FBI file.

Buh Bayh.

doingwhatican on December 16, 2006 at 9:08 AM

Evan Bayh is out? Wow, the excitement level just plummeted.

It’ll come down to Dumbo vs. The Pantsuit.

JammieWearingFool on December 16, 2006 at 9:09 AM

So let’s see…a Democrat gets all geared up and gung ho for a long, hard fight – then heads home in defeat before giving himself a chance to win, even though the contest won’t be over for a long time…

I know I’ve seen something like this somewhere…

token on December 16, 2006 at 9:29 AM

He did a decent job as governor, in my memory, and he’s not a bad guy or a total moonbat. He would have been much more acceptable than the others still running, so I am a little bummed by this, especially since I cynically doubt any Republican will win next time around.

tikvah on December 16, 2006 at 10:08 AM

Most Hoosiers recall Evan Bayh as being a fairly decent governor. Lately, he has been getting his leftist creditials in order. I assumed this to be in order to compete in the Democratic Primary. However he probably figured out that he hasn’t done anything crazy enough yet to get the nomination.

In all likelyhood, he would have been another Clinton, minus the dirty stuff.

jones on December 16, 2006 at 10:16 AM

Who the hell is that??

Anyway…anyone who thinks it will be anyone but shrillery, is fooling themselves. (Shave her head, and you will find 3 3s – I guarantee it. LOL. The other 3 are on Bill.)

tickleddragon on December 16, 2006 at 10:47 AM

Barak Barak fo fock, Obama bama fo fama, me mi mo mamma. Empty suit, suit fo ffftttthhhhh!

2008 is looking worse and worse.

hillbillyjim on December 16, 2006 at 11:56 AM

I’m going out right now and put my “Run Hillary Run” bumper sticker on my obscene SUV….on the front bumper.

But for now, I’ll say….Buh Bayh……

seejanemom on December 16, 2006 at 12:02 PM

They will drop out or they may find themselves dead in the park.

Good point.

Can you actually drop off of a race before it starts?

If so, I’m also dropping out of the race.

reaganaut on December 16, 2006 at 2:47 PM

Since he’s getting no traction from the Senate, I’m betting he runs for Indiana governor in ‘08 then tries to relaunch his presidential race from there in ‘12 or ‘16.

reaganaut on December 16, 2006 at 2:47 PM

Me, too!

Hard to believe that parents actually used to tell their children that they could grow up to become president someday.

Now parents tell their children that they want them to become successful, honest, and have a steady job – sort of leaves out president, doesn’t it?

Oh. how times have changed!

Looks by the picture posted here Sen. Bayh is putting his support behind the ears. We all know who that is..
