I always suspected. “White Christmas” indeed.

That Santa still isn’t as much of a b-stid as the one on “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Watch that show again – you’ll see what I mean.
Slublog on December 14, 2006 at 11:48 PM
If it was so bad, why did you watch it 1.4 times?
DaveS on December 14, 2006 at 11:48 PM
Are you talking about the classic stop motion Rudolph from the 70′s Slublog? I don’t remember Santa being a b***ard in that one.
Scot on December 15, 2006 at 12:07 AM
Oh, yeah. Some friends and I got together a few years ago to watch it and realized that Santa was kind of a jerk through the whole thing. Rudolph should have told Santa to fly a kite instead of saving his butt.

Still beats the snot out of Charlie Sheen’s offering tonight.

What this proves is that there was no “funny” to be found in the original. These guys had weeks to make their spoof funny, and even then they couldn’t pull it off.

This MAD TV parody of COPS was way funnier. (Stick with it all the way to the end to see the part with Santa.)

heh. I’ll watch that Rudolph show this year to see if i notice that too. I don’t remember which show it is, but one of those Christmas classics from the 70′s has their characters mouth’s move just like Dick Morris’s mouth.

You mean on a skid row hooker’s foot?

As an elf, I find his racial overtones to be offensive.
NOT! LOL!

As a long-time fan of Seinfeld’s snarky humor, I must say that Kramer-Klaus is coming to town.
hillbillyjim on December 15, 2006 at 7:00 AM
Sounds like Slu’s got Santa issues. Merry Christmas, Slu.
hillbillyjim on December 15, 2006 at 7:04 AM
That was a comedy act? It looked like a kid with Tourette’s spouting off with a mic.

Is he having a stroke? Better get it over quick before we are all subjected to The Pantsuit’s Peasant Plan.

I guess I’m in the minority…I thought it was funny and clever!
asc85 on December 15, 2006 at 8:41 AM
I told that stupid elf that I wanted the AT-AT with a Vader figure, not a pair of socks.
That was 25 years ago.
Forgiveness comes hard.
Slublog on December 15, 2006 at 8:43 AM
uhh, yeah, I gotta agree. Can I get mine back too, please:)
BigOrangeAxe on December 15, 2006 at 8:44 AM
What a waste of good bandwidth
dalewalt on December 15, 2006 at 8:46 AM
I agree with Hillbillyjim – Slu, you DO have Santa issues. Remember: you must believe to receive. :)

Bah, humbug.
I’m wearing my Grinch tie next week for kicks.
Slublog on December 15, 2006 at 9:10 AM
Hmmm…maybe my heart is two sizes too small…
Slublog on December 15, 2006 at 9:11 AM
Not.Funny. or Ironic…or clever or even remotely entertaining.
I third the “waste of bandwidth” opinion… ;o)

Ching chonged?
Kokonut on December 15, 2006 at 12:08 PM
We are all now dumber for having witnessed that…

I’m with Slu. When I was in college, a bunch of classmates and I watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer together. None of us had seen it since we were little kids, but not long into it (I remember specifically the in-cave scene in which Santa tells daddy reindeer to cover up his son’s nose), I said something to the effect of “Good Lord! Santa’s a *$(#ing bigot!”
I remember general shock and agreement among my peers. I’m still baffled by how that show was scripted.

Does Santa kiss Mrs. Claus with that mouth?
