Feds fear attacks as terror sheikh gets ready to meet Allah

Now here’s a death worth rooting for.
The imprisoned al Qaeda spiritual leader known as the “Blind Sheikh” suffered a “medical emergency” at the Springfield federal prison last week, and the FBI is warning his death could lead al Qaeda to launch terror attacks against the United States in reprisal.
According to an FBI bulletin, obtained by ABCNews.com, the 68-year-old Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman began to spit up blood on Dec. 6, and was rushed from prison to the emergency room of St. John’s Regional Hospital in Springfield, Mo…
The FBI bulletin reminded authorities that the sheikh had previously called for reprisal attacks in the case of his death in prison.
They found a tumor on his liver. More:
The FBI bulletin also notes, “During Ramadan of this past year, al-Qa’ida in Iraq (AQI) released a videotape encouraging all Muslims in Iraq to exert efforts in capturing Western personnel so that they may be exchanged for the release of the Blind Sheik, suggesting that the Blind Sheikh remains a significant source of inspiration for AQ and their sympathizers.“
Why wouldn’t he? He was locked up in 1996 and still managed to inspire at least one of the 9/11 hijackers. Follow the link for the video. Like I said at the time: “If you kill them, they’re martyrs. If you lock them up, they’re martyrs. So kill them.”

Dread, I think Allah was upset because the poster in question was advocating violence against ALL Muslims, not one person in particular.

I am absolutely ecstatic that the “Blind Sheikh” will have the privilege of finally meeting his Maker, who I am confident will restore his sight to him without further delay. Besides, before the Lord’s angels cast him in, I want him to get a REAL GOOD VIEW of his new home — viz. the lake of fire, replete with vicious howling demons.

There is a big difference between the western idea of homosexuality and the Arab… at least there was in Afghanistan.
In the US at least, as a guy… if you go and have big fun with another guy, even once… your gay. Women seem to have it easier as it seem to be generally accepted, however strange, that women can be bi-sexual. Men, (to quote Yoda) gay or straight, there is no Bi.
In Afghanistan, men would do other men, and young boys, at least once a week. I guess as long as you continue to go home to your wife, it’s all good.

These remarks bring to mind a problem of the tree-falling-in-the-forest sort. Under Sharia, if a muslim terrorist dies, but no one’s left to venerate him,* is he still a martyr?
*Assume a mass conversion, encouraged by a host of unarmed Christian missionaries, if you like. Or assume whatever else you think would make a dent in the demography. If we don’t manage to do that, I plan to become the “Dear Abby” of Sharia, so I’ve got to start nailing down these fine points right away.

No it wouldn’t. A Christian’s duty is to fight evil, both Spiritually and Physically (Moral evil and Natural evil). So to what to send evil to face eternal justice is acceptable and honorable.

Is a perfectly fair statement as long as it is directed at Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman. I would think that someone that defends Ellison’s right to swear on the Koran, and other libertarian/attorney like opinions regarding the letter of the law would be more even handed. But I guess not.
