Video: David Duke calls Wolf Blitzer a Jewish extremist

Never a dull moment in the Situation Room. Here’s the former Imperial Wizard and analingus expert, live from Tehran, trying hard to distinguish between Jews and Zionists and not succeeding. At one point, in fact, he actually starts to say “Jewish” before catching himself and switching to the more palatable progressive adjective. Nor will his criticisms of the war sound unfamiliar, except perhaps for the flourish about the “Jewish wedding.”
The agenda from the conference is here, by the way. The Simon Wiesenthal Center has called on Arabs to come forward and denounce it, but the chances of that are slim. The transcript and audio of Duke’s speech are posted at his website. Find it yourself if you’re curious.
John Bolton and Alan Dershowitz will announce tomorrow that they’re suing Ahmadinejad in the Hague for inciting genocide. God only knows what kind of approval-rating boost he’ll get from that.

Diversity and multi-culturalism. I’m telling you, to get through to people on the left, all you have to do is say that – they will try their best to understand you and what you stand for.

I’m pretty sure he’s had plastic surgery before. My guess is it must be multiple times now.
It’s really almost like watching the interviews on professional wrestling TV shows when I listen to Duke.
asc85 on December 13, 2006 at 7:04 PM
Do we really HAVE to let this idiot back into the USA? Cant we say he was consorting with the Enemy? Oh wait, we would have to exclude Nelson and all the other “Useful Idiots” talking to Chinless too. Oh well..it was a thought.

Yeah his face makes him look like a puppet. Maybe he had a stroke. We should be so lucky. What a freak.

I guess Duke and Ward Churchill both received their PhD’s from the same Cracker Jack Box… What a moron.

David ‘the racist’ Duke earned his honorary ‘doctorate’ of philosphy from a correspondence school in the Ukraine and then wrote a world famous best selling book… go figure…

Is it my imagination or did Carter look a lot younger in this interview? He was also more testy than his usual self. What’s that? What? That was David Duke not Carter? No. Are you sure? It sounded like Carter, that had to be him. Yeah it didn’t look like Carter, but…are you sure? Alright……….

As the moon turns blood red, and the skies open up and the stars aline in their precise orbits upon the terrain of testament, then there shall be social security reform. And by the powers of the little warriors, following the synchronicity of destrucity and the earthquakes flow, there shall be a fair tax. For the Gods have spoken on my ‘being’ and all of the beings out there know
EXIT STAGE RIGHT! EXIT STAGE LEFT IT DOESN’T MATTER CAUSE under current tax legislation your estate gets taxed.
Warrior needs to be in a debate.

Strange seeing Jimmy Carter, David Duke, and Ahmadinejad having the same talking points. Did I say strange, meant typical.

Duke was right about one thing: Wolf is much nicer to communists.

Still, damn shame that the Dems get the well-spoken sane guy and we get the guy who…well… yeah.
Disturbingly good impression of him though, I must say.
And Black Adam makes a good point. Now when people suggest nuking Mecca, does that make them racists, or anti-racists? If you ban them for making the suggestion, does that mean you’re part of the…

CNN and David Duke: Both hate America and Israel. You think they would get along better.
Black Adam on December 14, 2006 at 8:13 AM
At the risk of agreeing with the racist (even only for a second), why is it that he is mentioned so many times (and even as the caption under him reads) as a former leader of the KKK, while Robert Byrd is not?
Was Duke a higher ranking member of the KKK than Byrd or what?
I’m not against calling out former KKK members, but why one and not the other?
Esthier on December 14, 2006 at 8:48 AM
Hmmm…. Wolfie works for CNN… CNN got a BILLION DOLLAR investment from…. SAUDI ARABIA! One of the Saudi “ministers” stated publicly he is in touch with top CNN editors on a daily basis to make sure the news stays “balanced”….
Zionist conspiracy…. MY A$$!!! If there is one, HOW COME THEY HAVEN’T INVITED MY KIKE TUCHAS IN YET! I WANT MONEY AND POWER TOO!!!! I’m BROKE and not even a doctor, lawyer, or accountant! Waitaminit… maybe I’m not really a Joooooo?!?

What a racist creep. Maybe he’ll move to Iran; he’d fit right in.
Josephine on December 14, 2006 at 9:13 AM
P.S. I meant Duke would fit in with the DinnerJacket and his ilk, not any freedom-loving Iranians who might still be there.
Josephine on December 14, 2006 at 9:14 AM
Bryd’s involvement with the KKK ended over 50 years and since that time he has been upfront and apologetic regarding his ties to the organzation. He has said he joined “because it offered excitement and because it was strongly opposed to communism” and has repeated multiple times “I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times . . . and I don’t mind apologizing over and over again. I can’t erase what happened.”
While not excusing his membership, I think it’s fair to say his career of public service, record on civil rights, and constant apologies and denouncements have convinced most Americans that he is not a racist and his membership was youthful indiscretion. Duke on the other hand, has proven time and time again his racist and bigot nature and has done nothing to even attempt to convince Americans he regrets his membership. I don’t think it’s wrong to point out either man’s membership, but equating Byrd to Duke is ridiculous.
JaHerer22 on December 14, 2006 at 9:43 AM

Typical “progressive” hypocrisy. Would you feel the same way if Byrd was a Republican?
irishsquid on December 14, 2006 at 10:11 AM
Maybe JaHerer22 would, or maybe not, but his point is still good. Senator Byrd has not espoused KKK talking points in decades (that I am aware of), even if the Left’s social policies have been as destructive for blacks as anything the KKK ever envisioned. David Duke is still as much a Klansman as he ever was.
Incidentally, are we sure that Duke is still a “former” Grand Wizard? Now that he is not running for office, has he rejoined his old gang, and if not, why not? He doesn’t strike me as a guy who does anything without a reason (however evil or looney).
Lancer on December 14, 2006 at 10:41 AM
Actually, I’ve read articles that indicate Byrd had dealings with the KKK as late as 2000. And what, Duke just needs to wait 20 more years before people quit referring to his work with the Klan?
Byrd wrote a letter, after the point he claims he cut ties with the Klan, claiming he would never fight in a war, “with a Negro by [his] side”, filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and opposed the Voting Rights Act of 1965. What civil rights record could you be referring to?
But you do say this:
So do you agree that if a former membership in the Klan is to be mentioned that it shouldn’t be ignored for any others?
That was my only point by the way, not to ask whose membership in the most racist organization in the history of the United States was worse.
Esthier on December 14, 2006 at 10:46 AM
But isn’t that a point worth noting? Maybe there isn’t racism behind those policies, but when electing a former keagle in the KKK who was a segregationist for much of his early political career, why assume anything?
I try not to worry about the overt racists. I worry about the ones who think they’re fooling everyone. Maybe he isn’t one, but it seems a disgrace that we allow former KKK members anywhere near a political office, Republican or Democrat.
Duke may be the devil himself, but Byrd is no angel.

doginblack on December 14, 2006 at 11:54 AM
JaHerer22, I assume you failed U.S. History in highschool. Byrd led the Senate fillibuster against civil rights.
Also, Byrd said “white n*gger” not once, but twice in an interview in 2002.
I’m not saying he’s David Duke either, but he’s definitely not the person you see through your rose colored glasses.
natesnake on December 14, 2006 at 1:01 PM
natesnake beat me to it. The quote from Byrd in 2002 was something like “You know there are white n*ggers too.” This racist comment was just swept under the rug. Believing that Byrd is no longer a racist is just a case of turning a blind eye. For political gain he denounced who he had been and that’s the only reason he did.
Imagine a Republican saying such a thing???? We would still be hearing about it.
At least the Republican party denounced Duke and had nothing to do with him. Sometimes the hypocrisy of it drives me insane.
Rightwingsparkle on December 14, 2006 at 1:17 PM
Where is that guy who asked which news service he could watch in the hopes of it being honest?
Duke clearly shows that anyone can twist the ‘news’ or letters/memo’s etc. into anything they want.
Like Bush (W) started the shia/sunni fighting 1400 years ago, they have proof…..in writting.
…reminds me of Jordan or Lather-Rather.

I bet David Duke would be upset to learn he bears a resemblance to Leo Strauss.
