Good enough for the Enquirer, good enough for me.

This and the JibJab 2006 Review on the same day.
But, umm, who cares?
Freelancer on December 13, 2006 at 12:14 PM
What, one of them grew half a brain? </sarcasm>
steveegg on December 13, 2006 at 12:15 PM
I tipped you off on that MadTV sketch a long time ago.
Best line: “I don’t believe in God, and I support Islamic Jihad!”
Now when is Comedy Central going to grow a set and air the South Park episode with the Mohammed cartoon?
budorob on December 13, 2006 at 12:16 PM
Too good to be true.
Griz on December 13, 2006 at 12:17 PM
Allah, I coulda said that better, but dammit – I DIDN’T!
You are the man!
james hooker on December 13, 2006 at 12:20 PM
Well, they may not be ready to make nice, but apparently they are ready to back down.
Heh.
Pablo on December 13, 2006 at 12:20 PM
finally an end to the dixie twits. Thats what you get when you bite the hands that feed you.
ChrisIansNana on December 13, 2006 at 12:21 PM
Good. Now Natalie can really be herself. Maybe she can form a new band with Mama Cindy and Cynthia (jobless) McKinney.
Rick on December 13, 2006 at 12:22 PM
Perfectly appropriate for the current SNL is the director credit for the video at the end. Is that supposed to make me laugh? If it’s so damned clever listing him as the director then why not just put it at the beginning too?
It’s like watching the clowns from somebody else’s high school hack together a comedy hour.
JoeEgo on December 13, 2006 at 12:23 PM
I darn, I thought you meant the split in half…. and donated their bodies to the commies for research into darwinism..
retired on December 13, 2006 at 12:27 PM
This is absolutely the best video ever posted…
Best news I’ve heard all week…
BirdEye on December 13, 2006 at 12:35 PM
But we can dream, can’t we?
CyberCipher on December 13, 2006 at 12:37 PM
I think that was MadTV. I’ve actually found them to be funny at times, unlike the current crop at SNL.
Slublog on December 13, 2006 at 12:38 PM
Shut up and sing.
Oops, too late.
I can’t wait until the post-breakup recriminations start.
thirteen28 on December 13, 2006 at 12:40 PM
They did a spoof of cnn. Woman reporter was in iraqi interviewing terrorists and one of them got mad bc they were using subtitles when he spoke.
EF on December 13, 2006 at 12:40 PM
That SO made my day, which thus far has kinda sucked. Anyone want to buy a three year old? I can’t vouch for his behavior, but he’s a nice little tax break!
tikvah on December 13, 2006 at 12:45 PM
I feel like I should start watching Mad TV again. They’ve had some bad shows, but when they’re good, I really like them.
Esthier on December 13, 2006 at 12:45 PM
Loved their original music and spot-on harmony. Hated their on-tour half-@ssed perspective on politics, which led to never listening to them again.
They all should just shut up and sing, act, perform and tell jokes. I’m wearing out my channel scan button on the remote, trying to find a program without some liberal nutjob on the show.
Monday Night Football isn’t even sacred anymore, now that they’ve invited guests into the booth who promote their shows while we’re missing the action on the field. I’m expecting Jimmah to appear the next time MNF is in Atlanta.
fogw on December 13, 2006 at 12:46 PM
I even like that “Directed by Bill O’Reily”
Esthier on December 13, 2006 at 12:55 PM
Dixie who?
NRA4Freedom on December 13, 2006 at 12:57 PM
She isn’t the only one who needs the lobotomy.
Knowing this crew, it’s probably a stunt for attention.
JammieWearingFool on December 13, 2006 at 1:01 PM
ChrisIansNana
My sentiment exactly.
The girl, as was said, born middle finger first, has finally come kicking and screaming into the world of reality.
pocomoco on December 13, 2006 at 1:07 PM
Hilarious video!
infidel4life on December 13, 2006 at 1:08 PM
“They’ve supported many of her political beliefs, even though it’s put their lives and the lives of their families in jeopardy,” said the insider.
They’re clearly approaching ‘absolute moral authority’ status.
Bugler on December 13, 2006 at 1:10 PM
From the article:

Really? Ya think?
StoutRepublican on December 13, 2006 at 1:10 PM
Excellent Video! Go ahead chix, talk somemore!

Splittin’ up! Who gets custody of the fat one?
Dread Pirate Roberts VI on December 13, 2006 at 1:13 PM
boo-freaking-hoo!
vcferlita on December 13, 2006 at 1:18 PM
Aren’t they broke and now they’re busted?
naliaka on December 13, 2006 at 1:19 PM
Who has been sending the Dixie Chicks death threats?
Is it true, or is that claim mere public relations and manipulation?
To anyone non-leftist, non-liberal, non-Democrat who is sending death threats to the Dixie Chicks, please knock it off! You are not helping. Death threats are supposed to be the realm of the Jihadis, and the left-liberal-Democrat contingent of the populace, not Conservatives.
Do us all a favor, disagree with them if you must, but don’t threaten them with anything more than “We are not buying tickets to your concerts any longer, we will not purchase your albums any longer, we will encourage others to do the same, and we will no longer listen your recordings ever again. You have mocked our country and our President overseas, on foreign soil, during a critical time in our history. You are an embarrassment. You should make amends for your egotistical, arrogant, condescending attitude and statements.
William
William2006 on December 13, 2006 at 1:19 PM
Maines father-in-law is Iranian. Think that has anything to do with her moonbatitis?
EF on December 13, 2006 at 1:20 PM
I thought they really had talent. Too bad they screwed up that God given talent.
CharlestonCritic on December 13, 2006 at 1:26 PM
Breaking up? That’s too bad, I was sure those kids were headed straight to the top.
Is that what that’s from? I’ve had that clip on my hard drive for a while without ever knowing.
Wolfman on December 13, 2006 at 1:28 PM
Good-bye
Earlgirls.SouthernGent on December 13, 2006 at 1:28 PM
Everybody, go to the Dixie Chicks website. Why does the pattern on the sewer drain resemble the star of David?
Is there some symbolism I’m missing here?
bert169 on December 13, 2006 at 1:30 PM
i think the two not named Natalie are hoping htey can rebuild their shattered career without the big mouthed liberal
Defector01 on December 13, 2006 at 1:44 PM
Heh.
Jaibones on December 13, 2006 at 1:49 PM
Their career will be over as soon as W leaves office…they’ve been living off that publicity in “marytr-mode” for awhile now.
Malpaso on December 13, 2006 at 1:55 PM
And to help put the focus where it belongs they put a picture of the President on the front page there web site, After all they wouldn’t want to take the focus off there
politicserr musicGwillie on December 13, 2006 at 2:05 PM
wow..since I NEVER watch SNL anymore..I’d never have seen that. THANKS be to Allah for posting it. That was freakin’ hilarious.
If only the other two REALLY thought that way. Hate to say, they are just as nuts as Nat.
tickleddragon on December 13, 2006 at 2:06 PM
Oops..it’s MadTV.. Well, I do occasionally watch that one.
tickleddragon on December 13, 2006 at 2:08 PM
I don’t want them to break up; I want them to continue to believe they still matter. The empty concert halls and cancelled engagements is too much fun to want it to end.
Black Adam on December 13, 2006 at 2:37 PM
Poor, silenced Chicks. Their site shows upwards of 30 press releases and appearances since May. Isn’t it awful, how we’ve cruelly duct-taped their mouths shut?
*Sigh* I used to enjoy their music. If the other two can get an act together without Natalie, I might listen to that. I don’t care if entertainers disagree with me (which is good, because so many of them do …), but I do care whether they know when to talk about their beliefs and when to keep their minds on business.
Sing louder, Natalie. I can’t hear you over my righteous indignation at your lack of respect for me, for the millions of listeners who made you rich, and for the country that made it possible.
Stefka on December 13, 2006 at 2:42 PM
My description does not do it justice. I originally say it on Brit Hume.
EF on December 13, 2006 at 3:49 PM
Ahhh, free speech. It goes both ways… They can spout their myriad of nonsensical rantings and we the “consumers” can choose to tell them to shut their cock-holsters. B-e-a-utiful!
x95b10 on December 13, 2006 at 4:01 PM
We are talking about a possible Grammy award song here! ha ha
Proudandugly on December 13, 2006 at 4:02 PM
Well it’s okay, moonbat #1 Natalie Maines hubby finally got another acting gig. He plays the politician brother to one of Heroes on TV. So now N
uats can stay home and watch the kids.thegreatbeast on December 13, 2006 at 4:06 PM
No more Ditsy Chicks? To borrow a phrase:
Well, Boo——Freakin’——Hoo!
hillbillyjim on December 13, 2006 at 4:19 PM
Did not know they were still together.
Wade on December 13, 2006 at 4:41 PM

Buh Bye Chixie Dicks.
vcferlita on December 13, 2006 at 6:06 PM
I love this ! Bravo! kneel down to whom ever put this together.
alyce on December 13, 2006 at 9:27 PM
But William, don’t you realize that those are the death threats they are talking about? Since money is their lifeblood, boycotts constitute attempted murder. I normally wouldn’t understand that either, but I talked with a Marxist for a couple hours today, so it was easier to see.
Freelancer on December 14, 2006 at 3:49 AM
This is what happens when you are stupid enough to diss your own fans.
LMAO!
Dave R. on December 14, 2006 at 12:27 PM
Both “Dhimmi Shelter” and the video are hilarious!
Thanks, AP and Merry Christmas!
