If you live near a base consider checking with the family support center or youth center and ask what you can help with. Oftentimes babysitters, tutors, etc. are needed to help the spouses of the deployed members. If you aren’t near a base but near major airports the USO facility within the airport is run entirely by volunteers. You will meet many of the troops who are deploying at the USO facilities.

Just a couple of thoughts to consider.

I also get on the mic and let the other Customers know that we have a special guest onboard and every time, the whole plane erupts in applause for our Heroes. God bless them and their families.
