When I was a Liberal, Conservatives spent time trying to reason with me and change my mind. Now that I’m conservative, Liberals spend time questioning my decency, and maligning my motivations.

Got a question for you. You mentioned you wanted Blather to write for you. Looking at his statement

I realize that the party of peace supports genocidal dictators, and the party of women’s rights support misogynist woman-haters, and the party of racial equality is the first to discriminate based on race …

..is this the reasoning part or the trying to change liberals’ minds part?

Why would a formerly embattled politician open himself up to the lowest scum of his opposition like that? If he did not foresee the bile, venom, and cheapshots from the LLL, my opinion of his strategery has dipped.

Tom Delay has a blog now, but I think they made a mistake when they left comments open. Here are a few from the most recent entry.

As for our liberal friends … well, as I said once already, they are nothing if not predictable. Once again, those that claim to support concepts like free speech and the free market place of ideas … respond to differing opinions with the vilest profanity, unmistakable hate speech, and vulgarity that most elementary school children would mock as beneath them.

Liberalism in a nutshell. Every time they speak, they reveal themselves. Those comments were so predictable, in both tone and content, that they could have been scripted.

I have just one question.

… but when did this homophobic profanity thing start? I’ve noticed in recent months that liberals favorite profanities are suddenly homo-phobic (or, in some cases, homo-erotic). How many comments on their gleefully describe homosexual prison rape, anyway?

Way to go, liberals … you’ve leaped over another monument to your hypocrisy. But I’m confused. If homosexuals deserve equal rights …. why is calling someone a “fag” you’re favorite insult of late?

Sigh. At least they’re funny. “Ching chong, chong ching, ching ching chong, die you fag.” The cry of the modern liberal.

I’m confused. On the news this morning I overheard something about Delay’s blog being shut down after it was launched. Wasn’t really paying attention, but isn’t this was AP is talking about. Like I said, I’m confused.

It was shut down for a while to deal with all the hostile comments but it’s back.

“Tune in to tonight’s Countdown for Keith Olbermann’s special report on the subject, “Right-wing hate: How Tom DeLay tricked liberals into wishing prison rape on him.”

“I can hear it now… “Those weren’t real liberals. They were Karl Rove and his Army of Sock Puppets. It was a vast right wing Republican attack squad wanting to seem like liberals””

Y’all give him too much credit. He was on it last night and he emphatically did not take the it’s-awful-so-let’s-blame-Republicans-somehow-and-pretend-they-don’t-count-as-liberals tack, which at least would have condemned the nastiness. He gloated and laughed at Delay, and even picked a favorite of the non-profane ones (lamenting that he couldnt read the profane ones on air). It was something like:

“As if bloggers aren’t already stereotyped enough as unemployed losers. Thanks a lot.”

Which, I have to admit, is kind of funny. But also one of the least nasty.

Could be, but TomDeLay.com deserved a mention in either case.

Wait E L Frederick, I think we’ve been lazy… Follow the first link AP posted. And then go to that other blogspot site. It appears they copied and pasted a post and comments from TomDelay.com… if we are to trust the folks at this blogspot site.

The comments seem to be open on the site you provided as well.

Haha, I doubt it, but I figure his mailbox gets filled up constantly.

Anyway, regarding Delay mentioning MM, I noticed he has her blogrolled. I bitched (jokingly) in my post about not being on the TomDelay.com blogroll myself. But seriously, what’s up with him leaving out HotAir?
