She sings the mustache electric. Not even a nod to Kofi’s departure, though, which is too bad. He made a wicked awesome speech today about the genocide in Darfur that the UN’s done practically nothing to stop. The impotent solemnity of it was downright virtuosic.

Loved it. Great “Top Ten” List. BTW MKH is 100 times cuter than Martha Quinn.

Bolton for Sec. State in ‘08!
A diplomat belongs in a diplomatic position. He is the man!

Loved the Kelly Clarkson song in the background. Not sure of the connection to the piece, but it’s one of my favorite “guilty pleasures” by Kelly.
Yes, I know it’s called “Walk Away,” but again, didn’t really fit the Bolton situation, I think.

Ham, the other red meat.
Well done as usual, it’s good that SOMEONE is paying tribute to a diplomat who actually knew and did his job.

As always, Bolton reminds me of a cartoon cat to the point I want to call him Whiskers.
Which reminds me – “Hey, I’m curious like a cat! I got a couple friends that call me Whiskers!”
(anyone else ever seen those sketches?)

You may want to reword that. lol

#11 Classic Bolton:
When he told Kucinich he didn’t have time to read fiction.

Excellent eulogy Mary Katharine! Bolton 2008!

“Would you eat the Moon if it were made of ribs? It’s a simple question!”
RightWinged, I know it has nothing to do with Bolton but LOL anyway!

Mary Katherine Ham is hot.

You know, Allah, Kofi did present a great argument on Darfur. It’s too bad the representatives present in the U.N. today will not care what he has to say. Perhaps they could have (and would have) had he been a more effective Secretary General in favor of democracy, human rights, and opposing terrorists and terrorism. Unfortunately, his strategy for taking a consistent stand on important issues comes straight from the John Kerry playbook. Good riddance Kofi Anan. Your usefulness was never displayed and is thankfully finished.
As for Bolton, I truly regret he was never confirmed. He wanted it, solid conservatives and clear-thinking Americans wanted him there, but it was not to be. In addition, I’m sure he was the most significant thorn in the side of Kofi Anan. Where are our hero’s? And, sadly, today we lost Jeane Kirkpatrick. Another outspoken hero of our country and national interests. I’m feeling very despondent. True conservative and clear-thinking voices are disappearing from the Earth too soon.

The clip of Bolton’s retort to Kerry was simply awesome.
btw: Anyone else hear a high tone in the background during the portions of the video when MKH speaks?

“Just say yes and we’ll move on!”
RightWinged on December 9, 2006 at 2:02 AM
Nope. Worded as intended. Sarcasm is lost in type. DUH.
Perhaps this would help you Florida honor grads:
The University of Georgia never graduated no
humbleugly, illiterate chicks, neither.I should know. I are one.
Better, Gator?

Bolton will move on with his own D.C. consulting business and make millions.
This will give the libs another reason to despise him. Having a backbone and being financially successful is a double whammy that really gets their panties in a bunch.
Mr. Bolton, you have my utmost respect.

…a fitting send-off for Da ‘Stache.
Puritan1648 on December 9, 2006 at 11:44 AM
Bolton will replace Kirkpatrick at AEI.
PaisleyCow on December 9, 2006 at 3:09 PM
PaisleyCow, thank you for such befitting news. Ms. Kirkpatrick is sminling. No one better than Mr. Bolton to take her seat.
I thought is was supposed to represent the world…what a
royalU.N. utter waste! May he live long and in lots of infamy.Entelechy on December 9, 2006 at 3:46 PM
The UN is useless. Time to make a parking lot of the space and throw all the delegates out of the country.
Wade on December 9, 2006 at 5:57 PM
If the UN would just pay their parking tickets I would consider that a success

I’d take MK over Martha Quinn, anytime.
