Iranian ambassador to the UN Javad Zarif spoke at Columbia University last night.
Note that no one pied him, drove him from the stage or did anything that moonbat students routinely do to conservative speakers. The ambassador did get testy when questioned if he believed six million Jews died in the Holocaust. You’d think that would be an easy one, but Zarif caused consternation when he would not give a yes or no answer. But, again, students didn’t rush the stage or call him a “terrorist” like moonbat students routinely do to conservatives. Talk among the crowd grew louder and louder demanding an answer. Zarif, a creature of totalitarian Iran, isn’t used to such insolence. He eventually got fed up and accused the students of stifling his right to free expression. Do I even have to point out the irony? Yes I do.
A student challenged Zarif’s statement that Hezbollah is a democratic government, to which Zarif responded by accusing him of consuming everything Fox News says. That’s the third attack on Fox News this month. Yesterday the Iraq Surrender Group was scared by what they thought was a Fox News reporter and last week Howard Dean accused Fox of being a hater. And this business of attacking Fox got its most recent start when the Big He himself went after Chris Wallace.
Once again, American Democrats feeding Islamist thugs their methods of operation and talking points. Jefferson would be so proud.

Unfair and unbalanced.

Just another reminder that I’m watching the right news network for my news. Thank you Javad!
CliffHanger on December 7, 2006 at 2:49 PM
Well, if Fox would just broadcoast some effing documentaries about Space Jews Javad would tone it down.

Maybe Jews and conservatives need to say “We need to let the system know that they need to fear us. They have no fear for us. And once you put the fear into some people’s hearts, whether is politically, economically, or physically, they will leave you alone.”

Jefferson would be so proud.
As in William Jefferson Clinton?
Mr. Bingley on December 7, 2006 at 3:00 PM
What do Iran’s ambassador and Bill Clinton have in common?
Both like fat chicks?

Hand gestures!
What did I win?
natesnake on December 7, 2006 at 3:24 PM
See, we have to respect his freedom of expression because that is one of OUR core values. However, it is not one of HIS core values, so he does not have to respect our freedom of expression.
Heads he wins, tails we lose. Nifty.

Columbia, Columbia where does that name ring a bell. Did they get a BCS Bowl game?
LakeRuins on December 7, 2006 at 3:26 PM
Keep in mind that Muslims do not disagree that six million Jews died, they just don’t like it when we call it a Holocaust. Muslims would prefer all Jews dead, and would then get all testy at us calling it genocide.

Indeed.

It is good to be #1 even if everybody is gunning for ya.
Unless you are the lead dog of a sled team the view never changes

This dude is fairly unbalanced.
Yes, Fox is No. 1, and they have hot burqa-free babes on. Oooh, that Julie Banderas and her hair rays.

I would not also be consumed by your ignorance.

Oh the nuance! If Iran was named as one of the countries in the axis of evil, and we know his country is a sponsor of terrorism all over the world, I am wondering why Columbia U didn’t give him an honorable doctorate? Must be because Fox News was in the room…….

Okay, these are the kind of churches that tick me off. I’m a CHRISTIAN, k? Not some guy who has to worship in a mega-church with a coffee shop by some self-proclaimed holier-than-thou “Christ expert” who took a correspondence course on preaching and wants to get down and “rap” with me on a “real” level.
These guys are out for one thing and one thing only. MONEY. And to put out these ads to say that if you’re too stuck up or too pentecostal or too ANYTHING then you’re not really “getting” Christ and you should stop in at our coffee shop and rap with our pastors while taking our scientology class on…ooh, sorry I meant, taking our “Got Jesus?” class so I can learn about the proper way of being saved then I’ll be hip and kew too.
“I don’t speak Christian-ese” give me a f*(*@(#in break.

Everytime I’ve seen this today I’ve had to wonder - Does this give the other networks pause? Do they think, “hey, why didn’t he attack us… are we perhaps too friendly to Iran’s leadership?” I’m sure they didn’t, but this is the first thing that should have gone through the minds of Blitzer and the gang as soon as they heard this.
RightWinged on December 7, 2006 at 4:33 PM
Rightwinged….”What mind of Blitzer and the gang???” They haven’t got any minds of thier owns. LOL
bones47 on December 7, 2006 at 4:44 PM
Well if the mighty Iranian ambassador to the UN Javad Zarif considers Fox News not fair (as if Dean was not enough), I am certainly not going to watch the network. A man of his intellect and unbiased opinion would never attack without cause.
Hey, what a coincidence, he is thinking just like the liberals in this country…what are the odds?
right2bright on December 7, 2006 at 4:45 PM
Fox News is the only place one kind find truth and accuracy in the news. This Iranian moron has become accustomed to the pandering of leftist news agencies such as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS and their ilk. If he’s ranting about Fox then they’re obviously hitting very close to home. Give them hell Fox.
rplat on December 7, 2006 at 4:48 PM
…no…sort of “nose on his face” sort of thing….
Also, the FoxNews swipe was rich, as was the applause. Sort of lets you know wherein resides the heads of the coming generation of leaders.

Iranians would love to see this on YouTube.

I watched the rebroadcast of the ISG report on C-Span last night. When that last journo stands up she’s having trouble getting a mike that works. You can clearly hear what I think is Ponetta saying “If this is Fox News…if she’s from Fox News.” I think he was concerned that too many Fox journos had gotten to ask questions and they would get the last question. There were a bunch there from local Fox affiliates. Go to c-span.org and watch the end of the video. He clearly says “IF”.

Let me preface this by saying, what the hell do I know?
It appears that our Liberal Main Stream Media has again exerted enough influence over the uninformed amongst us to change the course of history, and this will probably end up biting us in the ass.
However, having said that, it’s also clear that Bush and Rumsfeld, et.al, screwed up big time.
Since Vietnam, it should be crystal clear that the American public, (egged on by the effeminate left), won’t put up with a protracted conflict.
Given this, Bush and his advisors needed to deal with this situation in 18 months or less.(Congressional elections, every 24 months)
In the 1930’s, Japan was considered the most militaristic nation on the face of the earth. Kamikaze pilots. Hari Kari. Beheading American pilots, etc., etc.
Truman dealt with them, and militarily we haven’t heard apeep from them since.
Indubitably!

Yeah, try that noise back in Iran and see if you don’t end up on the short end of a noose.

Consumed with Hezbollah? Negative…. it would be a recipe for help if swallowing poisonous liquids.
MsUnderestimated on December 7, 2006 at 7:45 PM
I don’t watch the news too often but when I do it’s usually tuned into FNC. Guess I’ll have to tune in more often as it seems they’re doing something right if they’re frightening poor liberals and terrorists enough for those two groups to call them out by name like this.

He must get his talking points from Cindy Sheehan.

I would like to stifle more than his free speech. Anybody got a side of bacon I can use?
