Not in so many words, but look in his eyes. That’s love. That’s what love looks like. We should all be so lucky to find it.
Good stuff here. Superb defeatism by Gore, plus the spectacle of a former vice president of the United States urging people to throw house parties for his DVD. All morning television should be this watchable.
N.B.: the clip has been edited for brevity.

I remember Chris Matthews having quite a thing for Clinton. Recall his “ooos” and “ahhhs” and “he’s so handsome” when Clinton first appeared in public after his surgery.

You do know that Matt Lauer is Katie Couric in drag, don’t you? Just like how Janet Jackson is actually Michael Jackson in drag.

Algore and the Chia. After the show, they strolled the West Village and were spotted canoodling at Babbo.

OK, the throbbing McCain ad last week was bad enough, but now we have to look at the Hildebeast ————–>
Yes, I know how those things work. Hope it’s a limited run.
JammieWearingFool on December 6, 2006 at 1:21 PM
I saw some of this…I have never seen the “unbiased” press push so hard, and fawn over someone so much. Mr. Lauer here was begging Gore to run for president…begging. Aren’t they just supposed to report…not try to talk someone into making a political decision.
The only other person who I’ve seen have their unmentionables carressed this much by the media is Clinton (either).
StoutRepublican on December 6, 2006 at 1:25 PM
I just ate lunch. Now I may lose it.
He was on the “Oprah After The Show” show (or whateverthehell it’s called) last night on or CW affiliate. We were busy looking around the house for a replacement cord for my laptop’s AC adapter. All we heard from him was GLOBAL WARMING, GLOBAL WARMING, GLOBAL WARMING, followed by Oprah’s breathy “Wow” whenever he paused to take a breath.
Gottafang on December 6, 2006 at 1:25 PM
The lies and misinformation are getting me sick! Iraq has been a disaster for thousands of years. Nothing new here. It’s like blaming Bush that Iraq is also a desert.
We’re not trying to turn Iraq into Seattle…we’re trying to turn it into a democratic Iraq — still a disaster by our standards, but at least a “fair” one.
This is just another opportunity for the left to snatch a defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Allah you really do have a knack for catching that extra special stupid expression one makes while talking. Heh.
Theworldisnotenough on December 6, 2006 at 1:34 PM
Gore could save the planet? What exactly did he do during his 8 years as VP? Kyoto? A treaty no one is meeting the standards of. He negotiated the treaty. During the negotiations the Senate voted 98 to 2 that the treaty should not exempt China or cost American jobs. The treaty diod both those things. It was DOA from the start and neither Clinton or Algore or the democrat leaders made a serious push to ratify the thing. By agreeing to a failed treaty, Algore did more harm to his imaginary cause than any one I can think of.
Mig on December 6, 2006 at 1:35 PM

…once again, the spiritual leader of the Party of Hyperbole strikes again.
Here is a man who should’ve paid more attention in school. Civil wars are rather nasty. As even a faux Southerner, he should know this…but, as in most other areas of his life which he parades in public, he’s ignorant.
…and the Left just laps it all up.

He could save the world, a failed fatass silver-spoon lying sack of Vice Presidential crap could save the world.
That Al Gore is a very smart man…
Well, no, not really. Thought we were talking about Captain Kangaroo.

I almost wet myself when Matt said, in almost a comic book way, “YOU could SAVE THE PLANET!!!!!”.
I was waiting for Al to rip open his shirt and say that he really was Superman!!!
I really didn’t see Matt fawing too much over Mr. Gore….OK, maybe he was BUT it was about 51% worth of fawning
HarryStar on December 6, 2006 at 1:48 PM
I would live for either Gore, Kerry, or even Hillary to run in 2008. Losers, everyone of them. Gore has managed to beef up his crazy porfolio immensely. There are so many ways for this buffoon to be made to look like a buffoon, I almost feel sorry for him.

The only good news is that the left’s political positions are built on such a mountain of lies that they folled the american people for a breif time but they cant keep the lies going.
Thats why they want those investigations. They want to spin more lies to cover the fact that they have nothing to really offer the american people.

You know what else I see in Matt’s eyes? Anxiety.
Something to the effect:
*Did he notice my tie? I picked it out just for him. God, he’s so dreamy. I wonder if he ever thinks about me. Would it be awkward if I asked him to lunch? He’s so powerful, all I want to do is kiss him. Definitely felatio if I can get him back to my dressing room. I wonder what his favorite color is? It’s probably green. My favorite color is green. We could save the world together. But only after we spoon for a while on the rug while watching his DVD. That would be so rad.*

“would you pull out of Iraq right away?”, well that is difficult, if I was president, I would have all of the information and be able to analyse it all and make a decision, it is very complicated.
No shit sherlock. That is what our president is doing, you don’t have the facts, knowledge, aptitude, intelligence, charisma, power, sensibility, common sense, expereience, trust, honor…your a beta dog and will always be a beta dog.
right2bright on December 6, 2006 at 2:53 PM
You guys are really getting off on the gay references…repressed desires perhaps?
Enviromentalism is an issue the right is stupid for opposing. Yes, I’m sure some of it is hype and we don’t have all the facts, but to deny climate change is happening is crazy. But alas, I guess the three scientists left in the world who still aren’t sure are enough to convince you we better get all the facts straights before we do something crazy like stop dumping waste in our rivers.

…wait a minute.
The folks on the Right joshing about people they oppose being homosexuals would be Righties accusing their targets of doing something *WRONG*.
Meanwhile, homosexual pressure groups routinely “out” people, accusing them of being homosexuals…something they’re supposed to think is *CORRECT* and morally *DEFENSIBLE*.
…so, tell me…are your guys on the Left the ones with the deep personal confusions?
Wait…you are! Homosexuals! Yeah…your side. Deep personal confusions indeed!
…and just who said that the Right opposes environmental measures? I think that, if you examine the issue, you’ll find that the folks on the Right are *AT LEAST* as environmentally aware and as environmentally engaged as your turds on the Left…it’s just that they’re trying to enact measures which don’t unemploy mass numbers of people, cripple industries, or cost this nation its sovereignty, putting US policy under the scrutiny of largely self-appointed and unelected international bureaucrats.
The environment is just like other Lefty issues — like “social justice” — about which Lefties are all fired up, but which they don’t really understand beyond the sloganeering level. They’re even willing to use faux-science to support their points of view.
Ultimately, I think that it’s a class warfare issue. The Left just doesn’t like the look of all those loggers, construction workers, and folks who shop at Wal*Mart…all those pesky red-staters who just can’t get it through their heads that the Left is looking out for them…while they’re disposessing them.
…globe’s warming, JaHerer…go lay out, take advantage. Get a tan and leave policy to adults.

“I didn’t realize I was in a Buddhist temple.”
- Al Gore, former U.S. Vice President when asked about his illegal fundraising activities that took place in a Buddhist temple.
there it is on December 6, 2006 at 5:19 PM
Hey, Ja, it’s over 1500 disageeing climate scientists, not your 3. And even if you would want to call them “paid stooges” of the oil and coal companies due to some of their funding (as gory Al did), it’s the same as calling many of your scientists paid stooges of the extreme enviro NGO’s and universities (universities have leftist agendas?! oh, my, no!).
Something else about which there is little dispute – I haven’t heard a single reputable economist who has says that leaving China and India out of Kyoto – with the US in – would do other than drive the American economy well past recession deep into depression. And with the growing economic, educational and research strengths of China and India, that would not be a short-term problem. (No, I don’t know what Paul Krugman thinks, but the advanced level of BDS he puts in all his calculations makes them worthless.)
And a little warning to some of those above such as EF – looking forward to the ease of a Gore defeat: We’ve had at least 35 years of an increasing public school push of the absolutist environmental agenda. That puts many of those people way past the age of “I’ll-go-vote-if-Playstation-gets-boring”.
They love Gore. He’s their Noah. He’ll save the planet (excuse me, Planet). And they’ll vote in 8-years-older larger numbers than they did in 2000.
eeyore on December 6, 2006 at 5:27 PM
Connecting dumping waste in water with global warming? This is how the left analyzes ideas. Yeah Haherer22, the right wants to dump waste in the rivers, and we want to destroy the enviornment, our kids don’t swim or drink the water, wald the mountains breathe the air…how stupid are you?
No one is claiming global warming doesn’t exist you idiot, we know that global warming (this cycle) began in 1880 way before the infamous “industrial impact”. What we are waiting for is proof that man is the cause or that man can reverse a natural cycle. So far that has not been proven. If you think Richard S. Lindzen (the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is a fool, than you are the only scientist on earth who thinks so. His findings have never been refuted, even by the top scientists in the world. The only ones to ignore his findings are people like you with absolutly no knowledge besides your google search engines, and the democrats talking points.
The left demeaning the right by calling us homosexual is really twisted.
Don’t tell me, you failed logic in school, right?
right2bright on December 6, 2006 at 5:28 PM
That is a classic, the sad part is the left took that as a valid excuse.

Worry about comet impacts, why don’t ya?
mojo on December 6, 2006 at 5:39 PM
eff you, you fat bastard.
First of all, why is this guy still on the media circuit? Second of all, he would “test” all options? WTF does that mean? He’d pull out completely and see how it went, then put troops back in, with increased levels, and see how that went, etc. etc. “test each option?” What a retard.
I better stop now because I can’t even explain how annoyed I am with this ridiculous global warming crap.
By the way, Drudge was right on Drudge Radio the other night… In the winter they call it “climate change” (because it’s tougher to buy “global warming” when you’re freezing your nuts off), but in the summer it’s again “global warming”. Remember what time of year that stupid movie he made was released.
But Drudge’s point was confirmed when in this video, despite Lauer referring to “global warming”, Gore called it the “climate crisis”. POSs all.
