The ideological system (al Qur’an) behind these festering nutjobs is the problem, not its resultant maniacs. (Although Sadr should have been in a shallow grave two years ago, already, as an object lesson to future jihadists.)

Our front man, Khalilzahd, and the Administration behind him, allowed de facto Sharia Law to insinuate itself into the “Iraqi Constitution”.

From that point on, the situation inevitably turns into a “holy” war, because Iraq has been re-founded as a “religious” state. Absurdly, one composed of two warring Islamic sects who have been at each other’s throats for more than a thousand years.

All we did was open the cages of their simmering theocratic zoo. And forgot to add enough game wardens to control the freed (and implacably-opposed) Sunni-Shi’ite wild animals.

Failing to install a secular Constitution was the prime mistake.

All current disasters flow from that error.

Correcting the continued existence of Sadr’s and similiar militias will help prevent them from undoing what little SOLID good has been done in Iraq.

That country’s Constitution is unlikely to be amended for years, so “amending” the militant madmen will have to suffice until then.

“Sadr” is an easy name to write on the tip of a predator drone’s Hellfire missile tip.

From what I read Some think its a plot by Bush to cover for Sadr while others assert that it happened and that they have gottent the news from insurgents who were there.
