Awesome!
Finally a name on a ballot with integrity.
I predict you’ll clean Chavez’s clock in the runoff!
Congrats!
USCitizen on December 4, 2006 at 7:53 PM
Congratulations, even the longest journey starts with the first step.
Zorro on December 4, 2006 at 7:59 PM
You can actually win a Senate seat from New York with only 300K or so votes?
Pathetic.
You’re right on her tail, Allah. Close it!
Pablo on December 4, 2006 at 8:00 PM
You tied with Hugo Chavez. Nicely done.
Slublog on December 4, 2006 at 8:01 PM

Good job Allah, how did Josh Jennings do?
infidel on December 4, 2006 at 8:24 PM
From the next page of the report, I see you also tied with a fellow named “NEED MORE INTEGRETY IRAQ WAS A BIG MISTAKE”. That writer-inner needs more dikshunaries.
flip on December 4, 2006 at 8:27 PM
But you also came in behind the candidate of the Socialist Workers Party. That will be a blot on your record as you move on to your next campaign. Sorry to have to point this out, but I’m sure Ken Mehlman would have done no less. :-)

Based on the screenshot from above, I can deduce the following statements:
1) What more can I say than VOTER FRAUD DOES EXIST!!!!! A single vote??? Everybody knows that the election was stolen from you!!!!!
2) I’m not even going to MENTION the fact that those evil DIEBOLD machines added votes for Hillary even though they wrote in your name!!!!! OK, I don’t have any evidence to prove that electronic/mechanical votes were added to Hillary when they wrote-in in your vote but that’s not the point!!!!!
3) The fact that you got a single vote PROVES that it must be a conspiracy!!
4) Demand a recount of the tally!!!!
Where has our democracy gone!!!! Oh the shame…STOLEN ELECTION, 2006!!!!
HarryStar on December 4, 2006 at 8:34 PM
So long as we’re digging through the NYC election reports, if I can toot my own horn, I pulled 476 votes on a party line I yoinked out of thin air. See page 4.

The AP and Reuters reported AllahPundit wins in a landslide…

Too funny.
Ian on December 4, 2006 at 8:44 PM
It’s a start. On to ’08!
harrison on December 4, 2006 at 8:47 PM
How funny! Congrats, but to me the most priceless part of this was that 3 idiots actually took the time to write in Hillary….based on that, I say AP in 08′..
Pam on December 4, 2006 at 8:58 PM
I always knew the Allahtarians had a chance!
Did you mean the candidate, or the ballot (had integrity)?
Entelechy on December 4, 2006 at 9:36 PM
Chavez is the least of your worries. What about AI-JEN POO?!
RightWinged on December 4, 2006 at 9:40 PM
While that certainly is an impressive accomplishment, I’m strangely disappointed that you only got one vote, AP.
Kevin on December 4, 2006 at 10:26 PM
I can’t believe you beat me by one lousy vote!

If Allah Pundit would have won, would he have sworn on the bible or the kuran?
Entelechy on December 4, 2006 at 11:04 PM
Just curious:
Why are there Hillary Rodham Clinton(s) for the Independence Party and the Working Families Party? (not to mention write-ins).
Spassvogel on December 4, 2006 at 11:14 PM
NY has a weird system where you can run on multiple lines.
By the way, Allah, did you check other counties. I know a bunch of people that pledged the Allah vote.
Karol on December 4, 2006 at 11:16 PM
You both should join forces and run on the same ticket President Hugo and VP AP.
Rick on December 4, 2006 at 11:41 PM
I question the timing.
Also, he would swear on an lcd monitor with the front page of hotair.com showing.
urbancenturion on December 5, 2006 at 12:12 AM
I think we need to have a recount based on “voter intent”…
JetBoy on December 5, 2006 at 12:36 AM
How did you lose to the Socialist Workers and Socialist Equality cretins?
Lehuster on December 5, 2006 at 7:42 AM
The Carter Center questions the legitimacy of your one vote.
MayBee on December 5, 2006 at 8:05 AM
They actually print out the write-in votes? That settles it for me–from now on I’m voting for Dick Hertz.

(And takes a really, really, really long time!)

Allahpundit, you’re famous!! Can I have your autograph?
xoxo

Tell me something else about NY’s system… Hilly is running in different parties. SO…
Do they add up all of the votes for the one candidate, from all parties and different party lines she is on?
or
If all of the different party lines don’t add up to a majority separately, does she still lose? In other words, Spencer got 37K. Let’s hypothetically ignore the 282K for Hilly. None of her other party totals go over 37K separately. So, will Spencer be the winner?
Get what I am wondering about?

Love your nome de plume – Witzvogel?
Entelechy on December 5, 2006 at 12:29 PM
Yes, they add up the total from all parties.
Karol on December 5, 2006 at 3:36 PM
Karol — I would have liked it better if they had kept the party votes separate, and Hilly lost because of the vote split.
Then again, she would have been howling at the moon.
Thanks — Carlo
