As others have remarked, the fascinating thing about this whole piece is the alternate universe quality to it. They have the same 21st Century talk show format, the satellite hookups and attendant technology, the same sort of blithe talking head commentators – but the subject matter is the circa 7th century practice of beheadings with a sword that is an institutional part of their society. It’s like the Star Trek when Spock had a beard. So much looks superficially the same, but there are these incredibly sinister differences to it.

Its like watching something from a science fiction movie.

But seriously, no breaks between executions? He needs a union.

The whole video was macabre but does N-O-T illustrate what we are fighting.

I’m sure it’s true that this guy isn’t a Jihadi like Zarqawi and his ilk. And I don’t confuse a sociopath with a job and a sociopath at war. But the video does indeed illustrate what we’re fighting; not on the battlefield, but in the deepest, most important, and least appreciated sense. He illustrates the threat of life under Sharia.

The next time I hear some “defend Mecca” uninformed conservatives tell us how there are moderates out there, I’ll have to show them this film. Let’s be blunt and explain this is the kind of brutality that Muhammad taught in the Koran. The same terrorist hand book Keith Ellison is going to take the oath on.

It was Eisenhower that asked for a one armed finacial advisor, when asked what he meant Ike said he was tired of the statement “on the other hand”.

This guy appears to be somebody who enjoys his job. Executions are his business, and it would appear that business is good. He comes to their interview “fresh” from work. Doesn’t let the…er…sand grow under his feet….
