I wish “W” would have his own word of prayer with his daughters. I hate to see him be a Lame Duck Daddy.
seejanemom on November 28, 2006 at 8:54 AM
Juxtaposing this prayer carnival against the necessary repetitive SECURITY announcements is a perfect example of the PC circus we are forced to entertain.
BTW, with the passenger Shahin . . .the one with admitted ties to Osama bin Laden and who denies 9/11 was an al Qaeda plot – and has connections to a Hamas-linked terror charity front – why is this clown not already on a NO FLY LIST?
heroyalwhyness on November 28, 2006 at 8:59 AM
I suggest permanent ground transportation for these clowns, if not a one-way ticket to the foreign entity of their choice.
JammieWearingFool on November 28, 2006 at 9:03 AM
You’re right Jammie, but I don’t think you can actually buy tickets to Paradise, despite all that Eddie Money might tell you.
seejanemom on November 28, 2006 at 9:11 AM
Our popular culture of “that’s okay, if it’s true for you” lacks moral absolutes. These imams are willing to fix that for us. “Sheeple” is a perfect term for most of the American population. Most of us don’t think.
But it is not just enough to let something be “true” for one person or another, but to see if it IS true. Take a close look at, not what these men say, but what their book and other writings say. Find out for yourselves if it is true. Then maybe you’ll be ready to bow down as well…..NOT.

I liked the Flying Nun a whole lot better than the Flying Imams.
Pablo on November 28, 2006 at 9:38 AM
I love how this event was being billed as a “large protest”, when all that’s there is just 7 people, and twice as many members of the press.
ViperPilot on November 28, 2006 at 9:39 AM
VP, I saw one of those creatures on the news video last night and the media cameramen were stumbling over each other. It was like one of those Cindy Shehag moments with 10 protestors and 50 media cameras. I don’t exactly see a groundswell of public opinion on the side of these cretins, and they should be condemned.
This staged event was clearly designed to instigate trouble, and now they have CBC members like Sheila Jackson Lee going along with them. When the next campaign comes about, hopefully the GOP has the testosterone to link the Democrats with these terrorist supporters, which is what these alleged “religious leaders” are.
JammieWearingFool on November 28, 2006 at 9:46 AM
Viper Pilot makes a good observation:
I thought a minister and rabbi were attending this ‘protest’. In the video, I clearly hear the offensive repeated “ulahu ackbar” but interestingly note the audible absence of an “amen” from alleged supporters.
heroyalwhyness on November 28, 2006 at 10:33 AM
VP, I have some photos of the media-swarm on my site Age of Hooper.
Chas on November 28, 2006 at 10:59 AM
Where are the Americans in this video at the airport. Has everyone in DC lost their balls? Oops, I said it again!…I meant to say lost their B-word.
Wade on November 28, 2006 at 11:02 AM
Next time I’m delayed I’m going to hold a “large demonstration” with six other Catholics demanding that the Starbucks be turned into a Church until we get on our flight. Then we’ll pray the rosary really loudly and take positions at all the exits on the plane, ignoring our assigned seats.
I bet we don’t get asked to leave the plane. And it’s because everyone’s a racist Islamophobe.
Or it could be that devout Catholics don’t fly hijacked planes into buildings or shoot rockets into civilian neighborhoods to push the evil Juden into the sea.

I didn’t know you could determine someone’s country of citzenship based purely on looks. I guess I learn something new every day.
JaHerer22 on November 28, 2006 at 11:19 AM
I watched the video.
I waited, but that carpet didn’t fly.
Riding the rails might be a good solution.

Y’all have far more tolerance than me. It would have been 2 to the chest, 1 to the head if I was there.
Play your games when my safety and my family’s safety is on the line.
Mazztek on November 28, 2006 at 11:49 AM
Iran is a good place. You can pray in the middle of the freeway.
I don’t hate Muslims. When they decide to act weird, either they leave the place or I make them.
Ouabam on November 28, 2006 at 11:54 AM
Well, you don’t know what we can find
Why don’t you come with me little girl
On a magic carpet ride
allie on November 28, 2006 at 12:04 PM
If these were Christians protesting, instead of Muslims, the media would be treating them like kook fringe religious zealots. Notice how the media never portrays these nuts as “religious zealots”? Never are they portrayed with a negative stereotype attached to them. They are always treated as the victims, and evil americans as the purveyors of hate. Instead of the other way around as is the truth.
roninacreage on November 28, 2006 at 12:27 PM
Just so you folks know, and to answer the question posed in the video clip of the Praying Imams, since 9/11 TSA/Homeland Security has mandated that those security messages play every 120 seconds throughout an airport. I used to work for the company that makes audio systems for airports, and I know the woman whose voice you hear in that announcement. If you hear her voice in a pre-recorded announcement in an airport, my former employer made the sound system.
The company used four separate voices for its airport system. Mine is (or maybe was) one of them.

I find it ironic that at the end, those muslims assumed the “crash position”.
JackM on November 28, 2006 at 12:54 PM
I think it’s funny to see them praying and kneeling down on our soil, why don’t they just stand and pray.
If I was there I would just walk thru them and started sing
We wish you a merry Christmas or better yet Noel…
Now as for sheila jackson lee she’s a moron and looking for attention again she’s an embarrassment to my state and accomplishes nothing…
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year….
alyce on November 28, 2006 at 1:34 PM
Why is it that even on a supposedly “Fair and Balanced/Conservative” show like O’Reilly, the damning facts of their actual actions are omitted? MM did her best to get the facts across but Bill was very reluctant to give any ground and tried to keep the discussion limited to “their praying caused it” Instead of:
1. Their crazy antics on the plane; changing seats, asking for extenders, blocking/controlling all exit/entry points.
We are in a lot of trouble with this kind of coverage. Keep up the good work MM.
America1st on November 28, 2006 at 2:15 PM
These Islamic men at Reagan Airport want as much attention as they can get. It is a fine line we walk between publicizing their childish, loser antics and giving them the attention and publicity they so desperately seek.

This from Jihadwatch. The more I read and see these imams and their premeditated airport pray-in, the more I believe its a dry run.
This is a set up for future actions. Enough MSM coverage and passengers will become passive then hesitate the next time imams ‘pray’ and change seats on anairplane, IF they act at all. I think there was a reason for this to happen on the ground. If the plane were airborne, the result would be much different.
This has to be a learning a learning run for the terrorists.
Secondary is to push the “illegal to ask any muslim anything” law from pelosi. I really believe this.
And to ask again :has connections to a Hamas-linked terror charity front – why is this clown not already on a NO FLY LIST?

Hosts eventually succumb to malignant invaders unless aggressive intervention is applied.
This is another symptom of the disease.
File this under ‘conquest by a thousand infections’.
locomotivebreath1901 on November 28, 2006 at 2:41 PM
A stunt? Perhaps, how far can they push the envelope.
With enough squawking our esteem lawmakers will give them card blanch to impose whatever they want on us.
Why should they get special treatment just because they are so easily offended when they act the fool.
Kini on November 28, 2006 at 2:46 PM
YES, and the cancer known as terrorists & islamofascists, has matasticized and it has morphed and it will kill us if left alone. It’s everywhere and getting harder and harder to spot. Plus even knowing what it looks like , we look the other way.
Is anyone else as bothered by these recent actions as I? If you had a disease in your body you would cut it out, yet we allow the disease of terror to live and grow among us.

“All of these, they make it up.”
Thank you, Michelle, for exposing these lying manipulators.
These monsters will continue to make dry runs and cry “Islamophobia!” all the way until the next 9/11.

“Yo! Carpet! – Give me some tassle!”
Looks like a media orgy.
Anyone know how to cook a live frog? – Put it in a pot full of cold water, place the pot on the burner, slowly turn up the heat until the water is boiling. The frog is too dumb to see the heat is slowly rising.
Anyone see a parallel here?

Help me out here. . I always hear them wanting to KILL
Jews. Everyday KILL Jews.
Hollywood and many Liberal political types are made up of
what ? Lots of Jews. Other than Ron Silver and maybe a few
more, Where’s the outrage ? ?

Great Vent Michelle! Your reporting and commentary are superb!
Big surprise, the Mainstream Media (MSM) for the most part appears in locked step march with the Left and the Islamofacist. We will never hear the viewpoints that are in these Vents in the forseeable future.
Don’t dispair, in time the Islamofacist will be seen for what they are. Unfortunately it will take major disasters for this to happen, but I still think it will be a small price to pay to stop the infiltration that is being aided by the Left.
It could be much worse, this could be France. Shire Network News at http://tuatara.blogmatrix.com/ has a great and very well done piece about all the no-go areas for the French authorities – over 700 of them – in France!
omegaram on November 28, 2006 at 10:44 PM
I’m not so sure it’s a dry run; I’d be more inclined to believe that they want to lull the public into a false sense of security. If they pull enough of these types of antics, then liberals will force the TSA to lighten the rules. These people aren’t stupid, they’re willing to sway public opinion to get what they want.
