With only 47 days remaining until the premier of Day 6 of “24″ — it’s not like I’m counting, or anything — I bring you three great fan created previews. This first one looks the most authentic out the bunch:
And finally a prequel similar to the second video:

I’m a die-hard 24 fan myself, and though the fan-made videos are well-edited (well, the first one, at least), the plotlines detailed in them are obviously false.
I’ll try to do this with the least spoilers (besides, everything I post can be found in the official Fox ‘Day 6′ teaser trailer at http://www.24trailer.com), but here’s the gist of Day 6.
* Day 6 starts off in the aftermath of successful terrorist attacks launched simultaniously all over the US.
* Wayne Palmer, David Palmer’s brother, is now President. Special Agent Aaron Pierce is still the POTUS’ main bodyguard.
* Jack is swapped with a Chinese prisoner in US custody.
* He is asked to find out who is behind the attacks, and by doing so, he may have to give his own life.
* The new actors/actresses this season include James Cromwell as Jack’s estranged father Phillip, Peter MacNichol (a.k.a. “Yanosh” from Ghostbusters 2) as Wayne Palmer’s Chief of Staff, Alexander Siddig (a.k.a. Siddig El-Fadil; a.k.a. “Dr. Bashir” from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Powers Boothe (a.k.a. Deadwood’s “Cy Toliver”) as Vice President Noah Daniels, and Kal Penn, who everyone knows as Kumar from the White Castle film.
I know Michelle is psyched for Day 6, as we all are, but hopefully when Season 5 comes out on DVD next Tuesday, our thrist will be somewhat quenched with the included 15 minute-long Season 6 preview.

Only 47 days? Wow. I just started season 1 on Nov. 13 and between major procrastination and Thanksgiving Break, I’ve managed to finish season 3. I’m not allowed to watch anymore until after finals, but by that time I should have about 30 days to watch seasons 4 and 5. That’s totally managable, right?
24 is insanely addicting.

Favorite Jack line as he roughs up yet another shackled suspect…
“Your lawyer can kiss my ass.”
Jack Bauer in ‘08!!
He’s so cuddly hot, I swear.

It should only take you 48 hours. Sleep is for the weak.

I always look to see what kind of cell phones the 24 gang is using. Oh, and also Bluetooth earpieces.

I held out until I saw the trailer for Day 6. Mrs. Kid and I ran through Day 1 over the weekend (including a Thanksgiving Day multiple Blockbuster run), and we started Day 2 last night. 24 is TV crack, pure and simple.
