French filmmaker shoots documentary about suicide bombers

Relax. This one’s on our side:

The prison interviews of Suicide Killers will leave most viewers shaken, not because of the ferocity of the would-be terrorists, but because of their calmness and the certitude of their convictions.

No regrets or second thoughts are apparent, except for the failure of their missions, with the female terrorists in particular displaying a truly frightening serenity.

He’s got a theory:

He identifies two psychological factors he says are key to the formation of the terrorist mindset, both of which he argues are inherent in Islamic belief and practice: a high degree of sexual frustration and a deep sense of humiliation and wounded pride…

The filmmaker dismissed the argument that Islamic moderates will eventually rein in extremists if given proper support by the West.

“All Muslims, even in countries like Egypt and Tunisia, believe that Islam will prevail worldwide in the end, because that’s the word of God,” he said. “Moderates believe that this will happen sometime in the future. The extremists think that it will happen in their lifetimes, and they want to be part of the victory. It’s just a difference in the timing, not in the ultimate outcome.

Islamic doctrine might supply the religious imprimatur for the violence but the brainwashing the Palestinians use goes far beyond memorizing the appropriate verses from the Koran. In fact, interpretations of the Koran have evolved in order to accommodate their revanchist viciousness. Here’s a clip dug up by Pajamas Media of the Arafat Youth in full flower. See for yourself how suicide bombers are made.

Whoa. For a second I thought he was talking about Kos Kidz.

Yes,that is the key,it is only a matter of pacing with the “moderates”.
This scourge must be stopped for there to be a future for the world.

high degree of sexual frustration

Is that why they came up with the “Get Yer 72 Virgins!” sales pitch?

CookeyD on November 27, 2006 at 12:38 PM

Who believes talking to them will make a difference?

Kini on November 27, 2006 at 12:56 PM

I would argue that it isnt sexual frustration as the birth rates in Islamic nations are explosive.

Its more an issue of control of the female sex. Sharia Law is about subjucating women. It is defacto rape codified and intermixed with religeous supertones.

Hence the need to cover females. Not to protect them but rather to keep them tightly controlled and abused. Remember they allow men to have multiple wives in islamic societies. So you can have your 4 or 6 wives and control them. But then the problem becomes with that many women taken by so few males that leaves many males without the ability to gain a partner. So they must resort to rape or adultery to get sexual satisfaction.

Which in turn makes the female “guilty” because they helped to satisfiy an urge that another male had outside of arranged marrages. And hence why the rape laws are abusive towards women as well as men.

In short the whole Islamic veiw of marrage and rape and life and death is ultimately out of wack.

I would suggest ,WA,that it was designed that way to maintain an attitude that could be controlled by the imans and leaders so that they would always have a force of warriors to do their take-over-the-world plan.

So if the only difference between moderate Muslims and their extremist co-religionists is, “just a difference in the timing, not in the ultimate outcome,” would that be enough to rationally justify a purge of Islam by the several billion other people on the planet that don’t fancy a life facing Mecca on their knees five times a day?

You wonder how much Islam would have avoided if Mohammed had just taken a vow of Celebacy. Some attack the Catholic Church for this now but I think it can be argued in comparison it was the right thing to do at the time.

What scares me is that Iraq, Iran, PLO and others are raising a generation of these kids. That means we have another 30-50 years of fighting these crazies if we can’t figure a way to stop it now. Just think what would happen to our economy and our loved ones if some of these nuts blew themselves up in shopping malls in the next few weeks.

Once they defeat Israel they will come looking for another enemy, us.

MSM needs to be showing this video every night on the all channels at the same time. Wake up America!

I can’t wait until we send in the ATF to take care of these guys.

Anyone wonder what female suicide bombers are told they’ll get for committing murder? Assuming they’re even told anything at all? You did hear about that 57 year old grandmother who blew herself up a few days ago, didn’t you? I wonder what brainwashing effects they employ for female suicide bombers? That I’m not sure about, and it could take time to figure out.

How about parental emotional abuse of a child? How about a warped religous upbringing? They are not key in raising a suicide bomber? What kind of religion and parents would condone this?

It would be more interesting if you didn’t know that it was going to end with a bang.

Anyone have a link to actually download this video? I’d like to include it in my anti-terrorism class. I’m a trainer for my Security Forces Squadron (USAF). YouTube is not visible on government servers, so streaming from HotAir is not possible.

AllahPundit-did you see this article by Steyn. I think it relates well to this thread…

Black Adam –

The film is done by Pierre Rehov and is titled “Suicide Killers”. Can you access MySpace websites?
Here is a link to a myspace site dedicated to the film and it contains the trailer. Only the trailer appears to be available online at either site.
The film was released in August . . .it’s unclear when the video will be offered for sale or if/when “Suicide Killers” will be featured in local theaters.

This link offers some futher details like:

To request a screener and visual materials: Contact Evan Spier by phone: 646-467-7554 or email: e-mail protected from spam bots.

Watch a shocking Anderson Cooper interview with Pierre on CNN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkBlhSNpHXo

heroyalwhyness on November 27, 2006 at 5:05 PM

IIRC, Pierre Rehov was also involved in debunking the Mohammad al Dura footage. There was someone else leading the charge, but I think he also did something.

Avi Green,

In that CNN Glenn Beck thing (forget the title), a Palestinian girl was saying that after she did a suicide killing Allah would allow her to marry and that of 72 virgins she would be the prettiest of them all.

Theo?

Sorry, Theo’s unavailable for comment.

These fanatics are at total war against us. They have the will to deliver great harm to us but thankfully not the means beyond suicide and rocket attacks, so far. We have the means to show them how a war is REALLY fought but not the will. We’d better find that will as a nation united or we’re going to wake up one morning and not see a few buildings fall involving 3,000 deaths but rather a whole city on fire from a nuclear blast or covered with a toxic cloud involving 3,000,000 deaths. That’s not fear mongering, it’s a observation based on facts thanks to all these translated videos from MEMRI TV and others showing the youth of an entire people being trained to die in the name of Allah. This is life or death but I think too many in this country and around the world have returned to a 9/10 mindset and such thinking is just as deadly as a suicide bomber.

Sorry, had to rant.

They need to be selling DVDs so we can get the word out to non-nerds who haven’t much use for this interweb thingie.

Why can’t I find anyplace to buy a clean clear legitimate DVD of this program?

The mySpace site for this film wins my worst website ever award, though. Yikes. Whomever is in charge of their ‘marketing’, needs some serious help.

They have the information that could actually help turn public opinion in the direction it needs to go, if we’re to overcome and survive.

At least let us friggin’ help by selling us DVDs (so you can use the money to, you know, make more programs like this one. I’m convinced theatrical release is unwise in this current environment. People need to be educated first, and nobody seems to want to think about this stuff.

It’s like being able to see the future and not being able to convince anyone to take notice. Right out of the Twilight Zone.

Damnit, America. Wake up.
