Dem activist gets 10 months for producing kiddie porn
posted at 5:37 pm on November 25, 2006 by Ian
Sick:
A Democrat community leader who would “offer a homily during worship services” and facilitated his congregation’s “opening our doors to all people regardless of sexual orientation” has been given a slap on the hand after pleading guilty to extensive child pornography offenses involving children as young as six.
Political affiliation doesn’t, rather, shouldn’t matter in cases like these. However, what if he was a Republican; would he have been treated differently? Who knows.

Embarrassed to say I live NC. What a surprise, lib dems circle the wagons, no matter what crime a fellow lib commits. This is disgusting.

Hands off folks. He has a D next to his name.
RightWinged on November 25, 2006 at 5:51 PM
Let’s watch and see how the media treats *this* case. I predict they’ll persue it with the same zeal they went after Bawney Fwank.
“children as young as six” – Just tryin’ to emmulate the false prophet.
Tony737 on November 25, 2006 at 5:59 PM
Wow. The demonRat DA should be contacted and asked what the hell kind of prosecuting attorney plea bargains such a case. Freakin idiot.

Didn’t Nancy Pelosi say corrupt Democrats will not be tolerated… they will be promoted?
OK… maybe I got that wrong… fake but accurate.
Maxx on November 25, 2006 at 6:06 PM
Terrific. Ten to twelve months “and even that seemed regrettable”. The only thing regrettable is that this man still breathes. Nevertheless, a fine, upstanding Democrat he is!

I don’t know how to use the quote button, sorry.
Troy Rasmussen on November 25, 2006 at 6:17 PM
Listen this man is sick, he has a disease and there is NO cure! No therapy will change him! He should be locked away for life! When he gets out he will find a way to do this to other children!! He should never be near children since he doesn’t see them as children only as sexual toys.

Sickening.

Rightwinged was just being sarcastic Troy.

He must be an alcoholic.

I’ll bet he watches Olbermann. A lot.
You know what that means…

I heard they serve a mean meatloaf suprise where he’s doing his bid.
sonnyspats1 on November 25, 2006 at 7:01 PM
But Democrats don’t do these kinds of things! /sarc
Add that to the pile of evidence that Republicans are held to a higher standard because they can be.
DannoJyd on November 25, 2006 at 7:11 PM
Thanks Scot. Rest assured Troy, it was total sarcasm.
RightWinged on November 25, 2006 at 7:17 PM
I question the timing….
Sorry, that’s not my line, but now that the election is finally over I expect to see some actual reporting on various examples illustrating the well-known highly-documented incontravertible fact that most liberals and Democrats are pervs.

I’ll assume he’ll take his furlough in Massachusetts, where he’ll be elected in a landslide for whatever office he so chooses.
JammieWearingFool on November 25, 2006 at 7:22 PM
I bet the voters in Pelosi’s district would be outraged by this guy’s sentence. After all, it’s much too harsh.
Sean M. on November 25, 2006 at 7:24 PM
yea, but he’s not a hypocrit. progressives are avowedly pro-pedophile.

Can I just pipe up that
ASSVILLEASHEVILLE is technically NO LONGER PART OF THE SOUTH—it has been designated THE SAN FRANCISCO OF THE SOUTH BY GAY TRAVEL MAGAZINES—When I was a child it was an idyllic southern mountain town… now it is a disgusting pit.Not surprised AT ALL.

Oh, pedophilia isn’t corruption, it’s a disease caused by one’s environment, for which society at large is ultimately to blame. It’s not his fault, it’s yours and mine for being so unsympathetic to his plight as a misguided soul. Rehabilitation is the only answer, punishment wouldn’t solve anything and would just make things worse. We as a society need to have compassion for this troubled man, and open our hearts to him as he pays for his mistake.
/sarc off
Now I need to take a shower after actually typing that liberal filth.
infidel4life on November 25, 2006 at 9:37 PM
I predict big things in the dem party for this guy when he’s ‘paid his debt to society’.
Gosh, if only Republicans embraced their deviates like the dems do, the Foley mess would have been only a blip.
the double standard lives.
moflicky on November 25, 2006 at 10:10 PM
…someone alert O’Reilly. He’s not very subtle, but he seems to do a good job hounding offenders like this…and this doesn’t need subtle. It needs blaring. O’Reilly does blaring.
Democrat associations, like the “Martin Luther King Association” locally, close ranks around this guy. You’d think that the party of Hillary Clinton — ol’ “it takes a village” — would want to see justice done for children. I am aghast, agog, asymetrical!
Once again, we have proof that it isn’t what you’ve done, it’s who you know.
Puritan1648 on November 25, 2006 at 10:58 PM
Done.
infidel4life on November 25, 2006 at 11:11 PM
…see…it’s who you know….
Puritan1648 on November 25, 2006 at 11:37 PM
any bets that the ACLU will rush to this guy’s aid & do everything in their power to get this pervert to only serve half of his 10 to 12 months on probation.
Starblazer on November 26, 2006 at 12:34 AM
if this was a Republican, every liberal in this country would want this person in prison for the rest of their natural life, but since it is a Democrat, then liberals would want this guy to only get 10 to 12 months probation
Starblazer on November 26, 2006 at 12:38 AM
Absolutely disgusting. And I’m sickened, too, by the people who were extoling his “virtues.” I guess as long as it wasn’t being done to them or theirs, it’s OK.
StephC on November 26, 2006 at 1:51 AM
Until there is a news organ on a national scale willing to wage the kind of war that the left is obviously willing to wage we can expect that these stories will be flashes here and on a few other sites read by political junkies like us and then be spiked. I would love to be proven wrong but I’m not gonna hold my breath. Fox is too busy looking for the next missing blonde and the extra tenth of a point from the “cross over” viewers, so I guess we are sunk.
TBinSTL on November 26, 2006 at 3:08 AM
I am not suprised that the kiddie pornographer is a Democrat. Political affiliation does matter to Democrats because the Democrats have no shame about such things. They embrace NAMBLA and scum like Gerry Studds and Barney Frank (whose lover ran a whore house out of Frank’s house office) as heroes.
When Republicans “get caught” doing things like this, they have the deceincy to resign, and when the stonwall, they get kicked out by their former supporters.
The Democrats are (1) hypocritical, and (2) deceitful to the point of evil.
Anybody notice that our favorite liberal trolls are afraid to comment here? No surprise.
georgej on November 26, 2006 at 5:52 AM
George, their silence is deafening.
And now for a retort from our liberal friends:
(crickets chirping)
Tony737 on November 26, 2006 at 9:10 AM
Right, but finish their thought: the real crime is not being a predator-pervert, but being a predator-pervert AND a republican/conservative/religious-type. See Foley, see Haggard. Don’t accept their twisted logic, but know it.
kace on November 26, 2006 at 12:31 PM
I hate the double standard as much as anyone. … But, it has a silver lining — at least some of the predator-perverts will get punished. … I wonder, if the whole country went liberal, would these people bother punishing any predators at all??
kace on November 26, 2006 at 12:40 PM
Hey, how far is this district from the district that wanted to prosectute them Duke boys (sorry, had to go for that line) for not raping the stripper? If only the pedo prosecutor had the zeal of the Duke rape prosecutor…must be good to be a democrat.
austinnelly on November 26, 2006 at 12:46 PM
The “Stop The ACLU” article was betting against you. It said, “This is the kind of creep the ACLU wouldn’t even defend, and that is saying a lot.”
