Alright Allah. I’ll take the red meat. This quote was interesting:

Mrs. Dorries argued for the bill on the basis that the latest scientific research had placed fetal sentience at approximately 21 weeks…

In particular, the words fetal sentience. How, exactly, is this determined? And if it can be scientifically determined that fetuses have a sense of consciousness, does this mean it’s a person – egad! – instead of a mass of cells? That really blows a huge hole in the abortion argument. Sadly, instead of debate, let’s kill Mrs. Dorries for brining science into the constitutional right *cough* to have abortion on demand.
