BBC: Did CIA agents murder RFK?

Of course. This is the Beeb we’re talking about; surely you don’t think they’re going to blame the Palestinian, do you?
Watch the 12-minute Newsnight report right here in patented, barely legible BBC microvision.

I think our alien overlords did it. The CIA, how shallow and pedantic.

I question the timing. ;^)

What an odd little news outlet. They not only report as fact that some guy named Morales said this but they imply such a comment refers to the Kennedys rather than their assassins.

i’m beginning to think the whole Kennedy family is a CIA conspiracy. if you look hard enough i’m sure you’ll find a CIA link to every Kennedy death.

(shrill moonbat voice)
The government is lying to you! RFK was really killed by a controlled demolition!
ReubenJCogburn on November 25, 2006 at 12:41 PM
Yeah because naturally if the CIA wants to kill someone secretly they are going to make sure some of their higher ups are lurking all over the crime scene.
Benaiah on November 25, 2006 at 12:42 PM
I’m already feeling nostalgic for those few brief years in the early 2000′s (The Plame Era) when the Left thought “CIA operatives” were good people. Now that Valerie is no longer useful to the Cause, they can move away from the “hard-working government servant” script and back to the traditional “tool of capitalist-imperialist opression” script.

Why don’t the the BBC do some useful investigating, like finding the leprechauns that keep stealing my socks.
lowandslow on November 25, 2006 at 1:03 PM
So…the CIA offed the Kennedy’s. Right. I read through the article (the video was too skimpy – as is the Beeb’s evidence) and I can’t find anywhere they provide actual fact. I read speculation and hearsay. Wake me up when you get a signed confession Beeb – otherwise keep channeling the aliens under your tinfoil hats.

What are the chances of there being more than one latino at a hotel in Los Angeles?? Slim, I’d say. Most of them would be in Mexico!
Even if the other dudes are properly ID’d as CIA chances are they were there looking for an Arab shooter possibly working for the KGB. Has the BBC forgotten about the cold war?

He was killed because of the stolen election in 2000. All the VRWC.

I guess “Operation Mongoose” hadn’t worked out that well for either Castro or Bobby, when the latter was AG under his brother and LBJ. So Fidel had Sam Giancana approach Allen Dulles to have Bobby offed.
And here, I always thought it was Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the Candlestick!
Jack.
Jack Deth on November 25, 2006 at 1:36 PM
Can I argue then as AG Bobby had the CIA wack John so that he could become President in 1968 once he got LBJ to start the Veitnam war ?

1) If it was the CIA, which party was in power during the election cycle of 1968. The Democrats.
2) Suspicion of Sirhan’s dupe status hinges on his reactions under hypnosis? Might’ve been hypnotized to be a decoy? He might’ve been hypnotized to cluck like a chicken, distracting the kitchen help into thinking that they were back home, and the dreaded CIA killer…slowly…hand over hand….
3) Jack Kennedy really wasn’t much. The CIA whacked him. Bobby had some Malkins. The CIA whacked him. Of *ALL* the Kennedy brothers to leave alive, *WHICH* one would the evil, right-wing reactionary CIA leave alive? The drunk.
4) Whom did the CIA piss off the most? The USSR. Now, who’s raising all these questions about the evil CIA? The BBC. Coincidence?
The CIA…killing celebrities since Julius Caesar. Et tu Langley?
Puritan1648 on November 25, 2006 at 3:40 PM
Well pardon me for applying logic, but if the guys doing the identifications are really who they say they are, then this has credibility.
If we are willing to pin the assassination of Litvinenko on Putin (which is a fair assessment) and that investigation has no witnesses or pictures, then we have to give some credence to O’sulivan, who does have witnesses and pictures.
Be sure to watch the video before you comment.
Maxx on November 25, 2006 at 3:45 PM
Oh for heaven’s sake. Reuters has pictures and witnesses of the perfidy of Israel too. Not to mention that Dan Rather has all sorts of evidence (and witnesses) of Bush’s faulty military service. Leave us not forget the Plame out too. Yada yada yada.
OTOH, perhaps we should consider the quality of the evidence. For example, there is more solid evidence of Nixon’s evidence than the CIA offing the Kennedys.

*BBBBBBBBBBBUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZ*
…don’t think so, bubbie. Saw the video.
The phrase “A film-maker investigating the assassination of…” sets off a *LOT* more alarm bells that the presence of “3 senior CIA officials” ever could.
You’ve got a “film-maker” feeding these guys questions, reminiscing about old (probably dead) comrades, and them answering with “I think…”, “…90%…”, “…virtually…” about whether or not three men *WERE THERE* the night RFK was shot.
News for ya…everybody’s *SOMEWHERE* sometime. Had it been a greater-than-90% fact that the three were there, what does that prove? It proves that they were there.
RFK, as JFK, isn’t even a person anymore. He’s a cypher. He *IS* the great “what-if” of the late ’60′s. What if he’d run against Nixon, what if he’d won, all that rot.
After all of the down-angle trajectories, all of the who-screwed who, it comes down to a load of *WISHFUL AND FITFUL* thinking that these “icons” were *KILLED BY THEIR OWN CORRUPT GOVERNMENT*.
It goes toward proving that America is corrupt, spreading the sort of extra-national imperialistic rubbish that the Leftys talk about. America’s corrupt because the CIA didn’t even throttle back from killing a president…and his brother…and peeing in their kids aquariums…and double parking…run for the hills!
Arbenz, Diem, Somoza, Allende, and of course the big magilla, Castro, are all folded into this bad-knock-off James Bond melodrama. The guys at Langley should start carving notches in the building.
The only credence I’ll give O’Sullivan, who goes about making inferences and, at the end, talks about the government owing an explanation before the Ambassador’s turned into a high school auditorium, is that he’s Irish. That’s believable. Beyond that, all he presents is doubt, and thin doubt at that.
His premise: that three CIA agents were there when a man was killed. The government’s to explain a presence. Excellent. We’re at war, but the CIA has to dust off 38 year old files — if any exist — and prove a negative.
Creedance, schmeedance.

Puritan1648 on November 25, 2006 at 4:25 PM
Well Natrium, what you are saying is that pictures and witnesses can be faked. Yup…. I concur. But that has no bearing on what I said…. because I used the word “if”.
I said: “if the guys doing the identifications are really who they say they are, then this has credibility.”

Puritan, sorry about setting off all of you “detectors”, I hope you were able to get the all reset.
But I stand by my statement, and it all hinges on if these guys are really who they are purported to be. And for your question, what does it prove ? Nothing…. just like you said. But it sure does raise my suspicion levels.

Here’s a friggin idea for the geniuses talking about Sirhan not possibly being the shooter since Bobby was shot from the back:
What if he turned around when the Palestinian pulled the gun!?!?!??!!
Or is it a proven science that victims of gunshots never turn away from their shooter when they realize what’s about to go down?
Come on, would Bobby let an assassin shoot him in the face?
Seixon on November 25, 2006 at 5:57 PM
Microvision. Heh. I got as far as “I began writing a screenplay three years ago about the assasination…” before tuning out.
(Not any slam at BBC’s low bandwidth format, that’s how I watched 9/11 in realtime. Holed up in the barracks with no TV, dial up internet access only, the base on lock-down. Sometimes the small format can be very effective. But when the reporter admits to being “fascinated by the conspiracy theories,” this not one of those times.)

It’s just too far fetched to believe that a Palestinian who had expressed anger over America’s support for the Jewish state would lash out in a fit of anger and kill someone less than one year after the 6 day war. I suggest we hang a moonbat label on anyone who would propose such a scenario with no facts to back it up.
Buzzy on November 25, 2006 at 10:01 PM
I always thought that it was the Zionists who whacked Bobby.
Or was it Mossad?
Or maybe it was the Protestants because they did not want to see another Catholic elected to the White House.
Oh, wait! Maybe it was the Pope who had Bobby offed because he did not want a Catholic in the White House because he would be a threat to the Vatican.
Maybe it was the Satanists. They might have feared that a Catholic in the White House would lead to the abolition of non-Catholics and non-Christians.
Of course then that would mean that it was the Hindus, Jains, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, Jews, Ba’hais, Buddhists – including the Shintos, and, those stalwart defenders of Peace and Love, the Muslims, who had Bobby snuffed.
Then again it might have been the Cosa Nostra – the Italian mob.
Maybe it was the Chinese, perhaps the Triads, the Golden Triangle, the Red Dragons, or even the Tongs because Bobby was either going to oppose them, or because Bobby wanted a piece of the action.
No, wait, it was the Yakuza! Had to be the Japanese mob. Bobby must have pissed someone off.
I remember now, Bobby rubbed someone in Jamaica the wrong way so it was the Jamaican crime syndicate, the Jamaican gangs.
Oh, now I remember, the Aliens from outer space were angry at Earth for reaching out into space and wanted to “send a message” to earthlings to “Stay out!” of outer space.
Oh, just a minute. It was Sirhan Sirhan, an Arab who hated Bobby because Bobby supported Israel. Now that makes more sense.
Whatever!
Bobby was a Kennedy. Ted Kennedy is a Kennedy. Ted is a boorish, bullying, arrogant, self centered, opportunistic, did I say arrogant?, contemptuous, nasty, vindictive thug who gets away with divisiveness, murder, and cruelty, and gets away with working against the good of our nation.
John F. Kennedy did not serve as president for long before he was assassinated. He already made some boo boos, one or two ones in particular, such as our level of involvement in Vietnam, for those who remember Vietnam and claim it was a mistake, and the Bay of Pigs invasion as well. Had JFK served four full years we would have had more opportunity to observe and see if he was such a great president.
Bobby was not the greatest either. It is wonderful how so many leftists today praise Bobby as a saint when he did not have time to blow it as a president. In other words, they formed a religion around a dead prophet who had not time in the big leagues to screw things up and show the world what he is made of. His image is based largely on the JFK-Chamelot fantasy.
His son is a disgrace with his selfish brand of environmentalism!
I am tired of the Kennedy mantra-chant “Bobby! Bobby! Bobby! Bobby!”
In fact, without the Republicans, who have a history of civil rights advocacy, and freeing blacks from slavery, we might not have had a civil rights legislation and we might still have segregation.
Maybe, maybe not. Nevertheless, Republicans are the party of civil rights and slavery abolition, not Democrats, who are the party of slavery, segregation, persecution, racism, preferred goups, elitism, the works.
Enough of the love afair with the Chamelot Kennedys, including Teddy and Bobby and his son. It is based mostly on imagination and fantasy.

…no…but my seals *ARE* past warrantee, and I’ve got a freeze plug that’s worrying me…a little too much horsepower, and I’m done for. That’s why I turn down all those offers from 18 year-old starlets. A man’s gotta know his limits.
Anyone ever consider that RFK’s death was actually a cleverly disguised suicide, to fool the Vatican into thinking that it was murder. The Vatican’s…er…murder on suicide, don’cha’know.
Maybe those three guys were Jesuits!
Puritan1648 on November 25, 2006 at 10:44 PM
Dang, my favorite thread on the NAFTA/NAU thing is gone already, and none of the other threads interest me, so I guess this one will have to do. So here’s my theory on WHY Bobbie was killed.
Bobbie was killed because if he became President, he would have had plenty of power and influence to re-open, and get to the bottom of who assassinated his brother. And of course the guys that bumped JFK wanted no part of that. So my theory is that whoever Killed JFK also offed Bobbie. Thus, figure out who killed JFK and the same people killed Bobbie.
Anybody wanna bite on that?
Maxx on November 25, 2006 at 11:41 PM
I believe that this thread was primarily about the BBC rather than what the Irish lad was “investigating”. The point was that this collection of drunks, retro-communists, perverts, drug addicts, anti-Semites and mentally ill freaks–the British Broadcasting Corpse–has been relentlessly anti-American since the 1960′s and crazily / absurdly anti-American since BushHitler stole the Florida recount and “seized power in the equivalent of a coup”.
( actual BBC ‘stringer’s’ description of the 2000 election; surprised? )
These turds will print ANYTHING which has even a slight whiff of something negative about America ( or Israel )–ANYTHING, including this ridiculous, loony, beyond-moonbat garbage. In their domestic coverage, they portray the U.K. from a hard-left / loony-left perspective, and are notorious for kissing the arse of everything Muslim.
feh….. enough

Three of these men have been positively identified as senior officers who worked together in 1963 at JMWAVE, the CIA’s Miami base for its Secret War on Castro.
Hey, so were these the same three guys who were on the Grassy Knoll?
It’s amazing how many guys you can fit into one hotel kitchen…
Lehuster on November 26, 2006 at 4:32 AM
I just realized who shot JFK.
It was Dick Cheney, during his youth, on a hunting trip with his father. He fired at a duck and missed.
The bullet traveled from out in the boondocks in Texas all the way to the street that the motorcade was traveling on.
Because the hunting sight was so far away, and because the great distance caused the bullet to travel so far for so long, the bullet had time to evolve – you know, evolution is gradual change over time, along with mutations, accidents, the works – slowly over an extended period of time so that, like a fairy tale, a frog can become a Prince – it just takes longer than when you have a magic wand and a magic word.
Hence, since the bullet from Dick Cheney’s youthful hunting outing traveled so far for so long the bullet had time to evolve from a simple bullet into something else, an evolved bullet with intelligence, wings, and the ability to hit several different targets before flying off and evolving into a Democrat-leftist-fifth column, liberal, Bush bashing, hate filled tinfoil hat wearing moonbat.
The bullet evolved into someone who believes in Evolution, abortion, Human Embryo Stem Cell Research, euthenasia, and that the US is the world’s worst terrorist state and Bush is the world’s worst terrorist in history, as well as worst than Hitler.
The bullet evolved into an entity who believes that Islam is the Religion of Peace and that Christianity and Judaism are religions of hatred, homophobia, and violence, that John Murtha and John F. Kerry are war heroes and have moral superiority over others.
The mysterious bullet also believes that that Cindy Sheehan and others like her, are morally exempt from any challenges against her actions or words, no matter how dangerous and damaging to our country and her citizens, or to our military personnel.
In fact, the stray bullet from Dick Cheney’s youthful hunting trip even evolved to believe in, and perpetrate, the one bullet theory.
I know this happened.
How do I know?
Because I have seen irrefutable evidence that evolution is a fact. I found my daughter’s first toy, a stuffed doggie. The toy is no longer a stuffed doggie. It has evolved. It is now alive. It evolved into a new species of animal with an IQ equal to humans, around 127 in fact – above average-superior range. The former doggie toy even can speak several languages, has locomotion, can fly, is a vegetarian, wrote several books, and no longer looks quite like he did as a toy – a Dalmatian.
Now the former toy looks like a great ape, with less hair, teeth like a baby human, hands like a chimpanzee, ears like a pig, eyes like a kitten, skin like a human baby, and a voice like human, but with wings that can retract so they are not visible until the once bullet now evolved into a whole, entirely new kind of creature, and ape-like, humanlike creature, wishes to employ their wings for flight.
Yes,
That is how it happened.

In 1968 when King was shot, RFK was in an American city (can’t remember which, somewhere in the midwest I think). He took his car with only his driver into the black section of town, where there was a large–and very unhappy–crowd, gathered. He stood on the top of the car and addressed the crowd, talking about King and his philosophy of non-violence etc. The crowd responded positively to him and dispersed. Contrast this to Dubya post Katrina. You really wonder why people wax eloquent about Bobby Kennedy? Think vacuum.
