What has this culture produced? Don’t even think “arabic numerals”, because those are from India, which the West discovered via the Middle East. Interesting point: There was an article in ‘The American Spectator’ a while ago, I think in the Fall of 1987, about the many homo-erotic and woman-adverse aspects of Arab Islamic culture. The author, whose name I cannot recall, tied Islamic self-loathing to a propensity to violence–and did so almost twenty years ago.

This might explain their violently homophobia: all that butch-talk about cutting off the heads of gays, etc

Christianity reconciled itself to and eventually made an often-uneasy truce with Enlightenment ideas and modern secular culture; Islam–even the “moderates”–never did.

I’m only repeating what has often been previously said. It’s still the Eighth Century for them, and they want a re-match of Poitiers.
