I live in North Carolina, and see this sort of thing everyday. I know some older democrats that wish they could bring their Klan outfits back out of the closet.

And Bushie is off coddling the great brown tidal wave…It makes me want to puke. Then cry.

I grew up in the South and I saw some of it with my own eyes. At that time, I didn’t consider it my business so I simply dismissed it as a misguided people being led by those who would abuse them.

Case in point: Democrats would send buses into black neighborhoods on election day and would pay — $5 was the rate at the time — blacks to climb on the buses. They were then taken to the polls and voted. Democrat “volunteers” were allowed to go in with some to help them figure out who to vote for. This helped the Democrats maintain a lock on the political machine in the South for decades. Only Ronald Reagan, who provoked yellow-dog whites to switch, changed that permanently. Still, blacks continue to vote overwhelmingly Democratic in the South despite the fact they are being treated as political chattel.

The Jim Crow environment that sprang up in the South after the Civil War originated with the Democratic Party and its harshest aspects were long promoted by the Democratic Party.
It was, and will remain, a stain on this nation’s history.

It is heartening to see that some blacks are moving off the New Plantation. They may not realize it, but the day they do so is the day they have become citizens, second to none. They will have finally realized the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King.

It takes some moxy to throw that spin in there. I wonder how much a poll of black America would do to strengthen that argument.

It would do well for some to interpret Dr. King’s message correctly. It was not to stand up against white oppression. His message went out to ALL to stand up and unite.

Excellent film and I quite enjoyed the introduction given by Ted Hayes and Larry Elder.

On a related note, I also recommend Star Parker’s first book “Pimps, Whores and Welfare Brats: From Welfare Cheat to Conservative Messenger” ….a real eye-opener.

I think it has been said, and history backs it up, all wars are spiritual in their causes. (by the way, there are 2 people using the RD. nic.I was the original, and quiet one) :-)

It was the Dems that created the Ku Klux Klan after the Civil War. During the 1960s, Pres Johnson went to the Republicans for help to get Civil Rights legislation passed? Why? Because the Dems OPPOSED it!

It is the Dems who treat Blackmen and women as political one night stands during election time.

It was a Republican President that offered the highest ranking jobs in DC to Blackmen and women (Colin Powell as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of State, and Condy Rice as NSA Advisor and now Secretary of State).

I dont recall any Democratic Administration doing that (nothing beyond Secretary of Housing, Agriculture, etc.) Who runs roughshot over Blackmen and women who are not liberal? Hint-it ain’t conservatives or Republicans.

Who equated the gathering of Blackmen and women as house servants if in a room with Republicans? Dems did.

Freedom begins in the mind. Just ask George Washington Carver, Dredd Scott, the Tuskegee Airmen, Roy Innis, Condy Rice, etc.

You know they teach nothing but lies in our country but so REPEATING it to them is going to be a real hard job.

I actually got into an argument with a friend of mine over this. He is a fairly well educated black man and a fellow police officer. He swore up and down that Lincoln was a Democrat and that Republicans were the ones who oppressed blacks for so many years. It came to the point were I had to sit him down in front of the computer and show him that he was wrong. His response? He still didn’t like Republicans.

This Vent and link brings to light the Left’s use of Victimization, and the promise of reward for those awarded that badge, as a method to gain power.

This Vent brings to light true Americans that put race behind them, to throw off the mental image of being the Victim, and focusing efforts on individual gain and development.

This Vent brings to light a movement that is based on clear thinking, noble spirit, and admirable in every way as it confronts the Left’s pressure to keep them in line with their political ideology.

Bravo Michelle for bring light to this movement that the MSM would rather didn’t exist and treats it as such. Bringing this movement into the bright light so everyone can see it for it is, the admirable cause and spirit, will encourage it to become stronger and develop. This movement sets an example for freedom for those that have been oppressed in the past and refuse to be used as pawn’s in the Left’s efforts to gain power.

Because that was based on individuals taking responsibility for themselves, it was not to be tolerated. That wouldn’t fit in with the groupthink required to maintain power. So he was killed.

So when, in cases such as Justice Thomas, it is mere character assassination, we should not be surprised.

Consider that over the past 200+ years every time the United States has gone to war, either internally or externally, it has changed the course of world human events and changed the balance of world powers.

This is scary stuff for other world nations struggling to define themselves in the modern age, but still finding themselves influenced at every turn by U.S. policy and political opinion. Especially when we get our dander up.

This is also scary stuff for the more liberal “world order” crowd that believes we should all be equal around the world, regardless of the cost, and hate the U.S. for it’s “overbearing” influences on global economy. These are the people that would rather see everyone lose, than to see a few win. At least if everyone loses, everyone loses equally… and in that they can argue that everyone wins. Kind of a twisted way to view equality, but this is the viewpoint we’re up against.

But right now…I’m going to grow the economy one click at a time a go SHOPPING ONLINE…I’ll drive, who’s with me?
