I’m thankful for my Lord & Savior. I’m thankful for my awesome kids, for my home, for our full kitchen pantry, for my job, for my ability to do my job well, and for my partners at my job. I’m thankful for my parents, my brothers and sister, and my entire extended family. I’m also thankful for right-minded folks like the folks here, and everywhere else, who help keep lunacy and anarchy at bay to the best of their/our ability every minute of every day.

I’m thankful that the cooking is finally finished!

Number 2 on November 23, 2006 at 1:27 PM

Did anyone else watch Criminal Minds last night? I’m thankful that they showed Muslim terrorists, explained jihad and didn’t have a CAIR commercial in the middle of it.

I’m very thankful for my husband and kids. My husband will be deployed for 4 months this winter, but he’ll still be in the U.S. so we’ll get to visit and maybe even spend a month or two with him.

I’m jealous that Number 2 is done cooking!

Oops, forgot the important info:

Turkey
Sausage and apple stuffing
Corn pudding
Sweet potatoes with marshmellow
fresh bread
pumpkin cheesecake
hot mulled cider (which sounded much better once I realized my husband hadn’t said “mold cider”)

MamaAJ on November 23, 2006 at 1:35 PM

I’m thankful to be free. All other gratitude and well-being springs from this freedom.

I make the simplest cranberries sauce from scratch, mhhh!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who run and visit this board, and to all your loved ones,

I’m thankful for my family (even when I want to tear my hair out when I’m around them)
I’m thankful for my friends
and I’m thankful I’m in this country

Thankful for family and freedom. We’re having Lasagna. It’s an Italian thing. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at HotAir!

I am thankfull for so many things but as I reflect back on my life, I am profoundly gratefull to a young marine whom I will not name who dies in my arms taking my place one afternoon back in ‘67 in Di Do . I am thankfull he gave me the ultimate so I may go on and have a loving family and business that is going wether my health fails me or not. I am so thanfull for the free enterprise system of this great country and to all the men and women who gave up so much so we can have what we have today. I thank God for all He has allowed me to do and for what I have not done so far. Yes, this is a day where I go way back into my childhood and know what it really, really means to be thankfull for my fellow man, no matter the race, religion or even if they are as loving as I try to be. Thanks to America, where we can be truly free and express our rights, freedoms, and religion. Remember the veterans who have gone before us that they did it just as I hope they will in the future for all us Americans. God Bless you all.

I am thankful for turkey, even though it sounds racist.

I am thankful for life, even though God allowed me to keep sinning.

and the rest…

Happy Thanksgiving!

Where do I begin? I’m thankfull to live in the greatest nation in the world. I’ve been to and seen other countries, but none compare to the United States.

I’m thankfull for the freedoms we all share and protect.
I’m thankfull for the Men and Women that serve and have served in the armed services that defend our great nation. God Bless each one of them and to all their safe returns.
I’m thankfull for my family, my wife, and my cats and dogs.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I just started cooking.
Aloha!

Thankyou veterans and those fighting for our freedoms.

This is my 17th Thanksgiving Day in America
and I am always grateful for the same thing: FREEDOM
May God bless all of those who gave their lives so we can be free.

I’m thankful that my job pays me double time and a half today to post on blogs and watch movies. I’m also thankful that I’ll be off work early enough to make dinner with my kids, and what I’m eating right now?

Walmart Deli food. Why? Cuz that’s about the only thing open right now. Tonight we do the traditional turkey day feast. BRING ON THE TATERZ!!! Hold the righty nutroots “new world order” in north america sauce.

Thanks but no thanks.

One Angry Christian on November 23, 2006 at 2:27 PM

I am thankful my sister didn’t kill me when I tracked mud on her beige carpet today. teehee!

I’m thankful for the Internet, and the inventive geniuses who have built it. I’m thankful for technology in general; we no longer have to hitch up the team and take a two day trip into town. I’m thankful for heat in the winter, and A/C in the summer. I’m thankful for the distribution system(s) that bring us everything we have, and the freedom to indulge our every whim. I’m thankful for technology that frees us from physical labor.

I am most thankful for people who can think for themselves, educate themselves, and who make good decisions for themselves, their family, and their country.

God, please continue to bless the United States, and the people of good character who live there.

rockhauler on November 23, 2006 at 4:14 PM

I’m thankful for the following things:

I’m thankful that my Baby-Girl737 landed TODAY! WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! @ 5:05 am, 6 pds 1 oz, 19.5 inches! Tiara Kathleen. God bless my Hotair family, God bless our Troops and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Tony737 on November 23, 2006 at 6:07 PM

Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m thankful that our daughter will be home from college in 20 days for Christmas break. A college semester is a long time when you’re 2000 miles apart.

I’m also thankful that my husband’s surgery went well on Monday and we were given a day pass to leave the hospital for Thanksgiving:) We have to be back by 6:00 tonight — but just leaving for the day was great. Hopefully … we can come home tomorrow for the weekend.

It’s been a great football day — but tomorrow is when the HUSKERS kick some Buffalo butt — I HOPE!

Everyone have a great day:)

I’m thankful for my family and their freedom. I hope to keep it.

I’m thankful to Michelle, AllahP and Bryan for such a great website and for letting me be a part of it! Twice!

Blessings,

I HAVE YET TO FIGURE HOW TO DO THE TRACKBACK THING, so I HAVE POSTED MY LIST OF BLESSINGS HERE. Even the Moonbats are welcomed.

I’m thankful for many things in my personal life. I also enthusiastically agree with the “thanks for our military men and women” sentiments above. However, it seems best to use this opportunity to say:

Thanks to Michelle, Bryan, “Allah,” and the rest of the HotAir crew for fighting the good fight every day. The war on terrorism is fought on the media front as well as on the battlefield — so blogs like this are important. Thanks also to the rarely-mentioned “Mr. Firecracker” — just think of the strength and commitment he needs to be married to a woman who gets death threats on a regular basis.

Thanks are also due to The American Thinker, Little Green Footballs, Mary K Ham, and others often linked here.

On the left side of things, thanks for Camille Paglia and Bruce Bawer. They disagree with us on many things, but both have had the courage to name and confront the enemy — and explain to their clueless cohorts that the real enemy is not George Bush (or any other convenient lefty bogeyman).

Finally, thanks for Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as they continue to fight the good fight.

Anton on November 23, 2006 at 8:12 PM

I thank g-d that I am an American. I thank the good folks who came before me that through their sweat, giving their time, bleeding lots of blood and selflessly giving up their lives that I am here in the USA today typing this. (I think about places I could be existing or if I would exist at all) I think my ancestors many years ago, chosed to move here. I thank the folks who are here today protecting us, the various Police and Military force, so current and future generations can Rock and Roll, be entrepreneurs, perform charitable acts or act like idiots on College campuses protesting the people we are thankful for. Thank you to the people who allowed me to thank whom I can think of at the moment by providing this forum.

StuLongIsland on November 23, 2006 at 8:13 PM

I thank Almighty God he thought up a place like the USA and gave the idea to the founding Fathers.

I also live and marvel at the beautiful planet he designed and the many wondrous things that hold my attention.

I am glad he remembered to make women.

The Jesus. My family and friends. US Military. Tony Romo and his family and Colt MCcoy and his family. Film. Food. Air. History Books. Hot Air. Missionaries.

I am thankful for the BRAVE men & women that serve this country. God Bless you all.

I am thankful to still be drawing air into my lungs, after decades of near-misses and self-abuse and addictions.

I am thankful to have been born into this great country.

I am thankful for my wonderful children and the rest of my family, without whose company I could not have such a happy life.

Mostly, I am thankful for the forgiveness God has shown me over the years, given my first twenty years on Earth.

Amen.

…and I’m thankful, too!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to you especially for having found a woman who’ll put up with your so much so as to allow such a very stressful, painful and miraculous thing to happen to her. My wife, telling her childbirth stories (as mothers often do) reminds me regularly of my debt to her…which is immeasurable.

Health and long life.

A girl, eh? Now the worrying starts.

Thanksgiving…I live in America…where to begin?

I’m thankful for my wife. She’s the best person I’ve ever known.

I’m thankful for our friends, with whom we’ve just spent Thanksgiving.

I’m thankful for the gift of our children. They’re more than the satisfaction of some base biological urge to reproduce ourselves. These are entirely new people, never been here before, with whose care and education we are entrusted. We will be paid back in hugs and hope until we go up to the land beyond a parent’s worrying.

I’m thankful for the many fine, witty and wonderful people here…and even for some of the eschelons below wonderful people, too…who make it a pleasure to be an opinionated old bastard. I’m thankful that, for all of the outrage, angst, overheated verbiage and cold commentary we see here on HotAir, that something as hopeful as this is shared.

…after all…it’s all just plaintext…the blogosphere is grey, real life is green.

…and I’m thankful for our church, our fellow saints, and for the free gift of grace, which make *ALL* of it possible.

Pray, if you pray, for a proper, dignified peace for the planet, in keeping with the Divine Will; for our leaders to be less foolish; and for enough of the wisdom you’ll need to fight your way through the maze of cobwebs which is life.

…and if you don’t pray, wish…that we’ll continue to have the freedom to speak and feast and wish and pray.

Puritan1648 on November 23, 2006 at 11:28 PM

I’m thankful for my salvation through Jesus. I’m thankful for my family and friends. I’m thankful that my health seems to be improving after a long battle with illness. Last but not least, I’m thankful that I live in a great country where I’m free to believe as I wish without persecution by authorities.

How crappy where Gumbel and the other guy on the NFL network? gumbel has the most irritating voice (he sounds like a girl) and their play calling was boring. No sense of drama at all.

Bucs had their asses handed to them, again, this year. Man, my team sucks :(

lorien1973 on November 24, 2006 at 12:17 AM

I am thankful for my family — a wife who puts up with my foibles and loves me anyway, two daughters, and a son. I am thankful for all our men and women, who go in harm’s way today, for all of us here at home.

Bless us all.

I am thankful to all of the people, past and present who have sacraficed their lives so that I can celebrate Thaksgiving.

Oh and one more, “Go Chefs” way to beat Denver!

ic1redeye on November 24, 2006 at 1:15 AM

I’m thankful for the extraordinary work Michelle has been doing with Hotair. If you’re not involved with media/publishing in some way, it may be hard to fully appreciate just how much blood, sweat and tears goes into running a successful enterprise like Hotair, and I guess we tend to take it for granted now every day, but it is a labor of love that deserves more than the thanks we can give it. Hats off and thank you, Michelle and the Hotair team!

Halley on November 24, 2006 at 4:49 AM

“Who are the Chefs?”

“Great googalie moogalie!”

Not goin’ anywhere for awhile? Grab a Snickers.

Tony737 on November 24, 2006 at 7:45 AM

Thank you very much for all of the well wishes everybody! Mom and Baby are both doing very well. Eat, sleep, poop, eat, sleep, poop … that’s all I’VE been doing since her arrival! HA! As for BabyGirl737, she’s been doing the same thing, also opening her eyes and reciting the Declaration of Independance. Mrs737 has been getting some much deserved rest. No drugs, no epidoral (sp?) and she looks just as beautiful as she did the day we met. Thanks again for all the encouragement. Drive safe today!

Tony737 on November 24, 2006 at 8:02 AM

we are thankful that our son who missed the last 2 thanksgivings due to being in Iraq is home and doing fine.

We are thankful that we are able to share our dinner with others, and most important thanks to our men and women who serve in the armed forces where ever they are stationed.

robo on November 24, 2006 at 8:14 AM

One sleeping on the sofa bed in the guest room, one sleeping on the sofa in the living room. Bellies full. Snoring. Both probably dreaming of being home. Two American soldiers, honorable good men, agreed to share our Thanksgiving dinner and long weekend with us.

This is what our family is thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday.

(Boy can these two guys make beer disappear quickly.)

Happy Thanksgiving America.

Limerick on November 24, 2006 at 9:24 AM

First and foremost, I am thankful for the many honorable men and women who are protecting all of us. Pray everyday for you.

I am thankful for all of you people. I don’t know you personally but it does appear that you have your act together.

I am thankful that my father never gave up on me. (Thanks Dad)

I am actually thankful for the years I served in the Army. It made me a better man.

I am thankful for my health and the love I get from my family.
