Video: HamNation on the Democrats’ race to the bottom
posted at 11:58 am on November 22, 2006 by Allahpundit
Looks like they’re not going to hit the wall with Alcee Hastings, which is bad news for conservatives but good news for America and, therefore, good news.
FYI to those who don’t know Mary K: the NASCAR metaphor here is neither ironic nor merely convenient. It’s heartfelt. She really is into the racing.

Love her but the clip is a bit tedious. Needs to be tightened up.

Racing is pretty cool. Just like moonshine and kissin’ your cousin. Its tradition down here!
lorien1973 on November 22, 2006 at 12:11 PM
“Like ever!”
“Symbolic useless legislation”
Mutt? What the hell is wrong with being a mutt?
RalphyBoy on November 22, 2006 at 12:12 PM
I’m not into watching good ole’ boys make 500 miles’ worth ofleft turns, but I love it down here.
Come for the weather. Stay for the tax relief.

I love her theme song.
It is so appropriate, especially when a beautiful conservative woman “speaks truth to lying Democrats.”
No doubt, Michelle and Mary Katherine *ARE* driving the leftist morons in the media and politics “crazy” — in frustration that THEIR message is getting out, despite their allies in the media, and their moonbat, DU/KOSKIDS blogs.

MKH when you are happy during a NASCAR race, who is leading?
Wade on November 22, 2006 at 12:42 PM
I wouldn’t mind some better screen transitions too. Like wipes and fades instead of those sliding effects.
urbancenturion on November 22, 2006 at 12:44 PM
That’s what I wanted to know too. Cuz if its Earnhardt, Jr. I’d be very upset.
lorien1973 on November 22, 2006 at 12:45 PM
No mention of football? Color me disappointed
JasonG on November 22, 2006 at 1:00 PM
Excellent “Ham Nation”, MK!
Who needs Football when there’s going to be a much larger more amusing, and violent fight between the BNC/MoonBats/New Dems/Pelosi ensuing over Alcee Hastings?
Jack.

So Allah, are you saying that when you eventually get you to visit, you wouldn’t be interested into catching a race in Charlotte?

I like Jeff Gordon, he’s handsome!

God, what is it with Hot Air and this Ham woman? I mean, who cares? She’s got the depth of a puddle and is a attractive as coffee grounds. Does anyone care what she thinks?
THeDRiFTeR on November 22, 2006 at 4:16 PM
Holy Allah allah, She is the one for you. I can stand it any more. Dump special K and have a heaping helping of ham.
I care THeDriFteR, I care

Losing the Race analogy: MK hits another one out of the park.
The last election was the Repubicans to lose, and they did.
The next election is now for the Democrats to lose, … and they are doing their darndest.

It’s not just the southern girls. It’s also the midwestern girls that marry Wyoming boys.
My sister’s got #29 and her husband has #24 (beats me which names belong to those numbers).
I would be curious as to who MKH cheers for as well.
Drifter – Insulting someone’s looks is pretty low. I’m not a lez (not that there’s anything wrong with it – obligatory Seinfeld reference) but I think she’s cute. I also dig her personality. She seems like a fun person to hang around with. My point being, HA makes it pretty clear when it’s a MKH post….skip over those if you don’t like her….leave the name calling for the DU.
JadeNYU on November 22, 2006 at 4:56 PM
She’s guest-hosted Vent twice and has appeared in at least three other segments so I think it’s safe to say we care. She also reads this site and comments fairly regularly, which you probably know, so chances are good that she’s going to see your cruel (and baseless) remark and have her feelings hurt. A nice Thanksgiving treat. As always, thanks for contributing.
Allahpundit on November 22, 2006 at 5:06 PM
The Drifter, why are you even back?
By the way, while everyone is talking about MKH’s looks.. I just realized today the resemblance she bares to (the younger, obviously) Barbara Bush. Anyone else see it? When they were showing file footage of BB today, talking about the purse snatching, it just hit me. I always knew there was something familiar about MKH.
RightWinged on November 22, 2006 at 9:40 PM
Apparently alot of people care. She’s at Townhall.com and has appeared on CNN and FNC. Not many bloggers can make that claim. Her contributions here are appreciated by myself and the vast majority of us who visit this site. Her blogs are informative, smart and entertaining which is the key reason for her success. Also, she is VERY attractive IMO but it takes more than good looks because if she didn’t have the brains, then she wouldn’t have been chosen to be a commentator here.
So if you disagree with her, fine, it’s a free country, have a ball and explain why you thank she’s wrong.
BTW DRiFTeR, you’re ugly and stupid! Plus, you probably smell.
:D
Yakko77 on November 22, 2006 at 9:41 PM
I’m not sure if you’re aware Yakko, but TheDrifter did tell us he lives in France at one point… so you may be on to something.
RightWinged on November 22, 2006 at 11:05 PM
LOL!!!
Thanks. I wasn’t aware but now that you mention it, his living in fRance certainly might explain a whole lot about DRiFTeR.
Yakko77 on November 22, 2006 at 11:07 PM
I’m a Dale Jarrett fan, a Michael Waltrip fan, a Bobby Labonte fan, a bit of a Mark Martin fan (hence, the Army Car shirt). I like the old-school guys– the Cale Yarboroughs, the Allisons, the Petties, the Burtons. The new school doesn’t do much for me. I do like Dale Jr. He’s my weakness, but mostly because I actually got to do two laps at Rockingham with him in a ride-along– 140 mph. Good times. So fast your eyeballs shake in your head.
marykatharine on November 23, 2006 at 3:09 AM
I generally root for anyone who drives a Ford!
:)
(Nothing against the Chevy, Dodge or Pontiac drivrs, I was simply born and raised with a Ford truck in the family so I sort of have a soft spot for Ford….. even though I drive a Buick!)
:D
Yakko77 on November 23, 2006 at 3:53 AM
Oh right, and no one here has ever made a comment on how, say, Cindy Sheehan looks, or Rosie O’Donnel (is that how you spell that woman’s name), or any number of other woman, (and men) that don’t happen to fit in your world view, Allahpundit included? Her feelings hurt? Give me a break. Oh, and have you ever been to “At least your ex-girlfriend is cuter than Kos. Well, hopefully.” Ham Nation? I “read” practically every week! And if you found my comment on her depth unfair, well, this just says it all.
THeDRiFTeR on November 23, 2006 at 4:56 AM
You may as well say “Northerner” too, AP, because I’m a huge Nascar fan, and in New York state… I’m a Tony Stewart, Michael Waltrip, and Mark Martin fan, btw. A little old School, a little new young guns, but most of all, I’m a fan of exciting, great racing. Battles for the lead on the last lap get me on my feet every time. MKH, I salute you. :)
