We know nothing about his positions beyond kennedyesque platitudes. The press has already crowned him the savior of America. He’s almost beyond criticism.

Edwards would wind up under a bus after slipping on an icy pavement in New Jersey in the middle of July. While Obama would get out of politics altogether after witnessing it all.

Think hard about this one – haven’t many (to be fair, not all) people based their choice upon how the candidate is marketed rather than a fair, balanced picture of what the candidate’s strengths and weaknesses are?

Haven’t the American people succumbed to the glitz and glare of prepackaged candidates?

Haven’t we, collectively, proven for the last several elections, that we can be bought with empty promises as well as with false hopes and dreams?

Bought with the proverbial bread and wine of Caeserian eletions…..

Haven’t we, collectively, ceased to be serious?

Have we, collectively, settled for being content to be the politicians’ punch line in the joke that they play upon we, the people, every two (or four) years?

Think about it…..

Great! I can’t wait. We, of course, could counter with
somethink like Cheney – Steele. That particular match-up could lead to the following

1) memorable line from the Presidential debates:
“I refuse to exploit, for political purposes, the youth and inexperience of my opponent.”

2) memorable line from the Vice-Presidential debates:
“I knew Martin Luther King Junior — Martin Luther King Junior was a friend of mine. You, sir, are no Martin Luther King Junior”

I’m afraid of this ticket, quite frankly.

Edwards is a complete and total nitwit. The Breck Girl is the perfect description. The ultimate empty suit.

Obama is a huge step up from Edwards, but zero experience, zero accomplishment, and already with the negatives. I am not afraid of these dips. Hillary is still the candidate to beat.

I don’t care how many people claim they will never vote for her; people change their minds.

Regardless of party, I think relatively young, fresh, different, and energetic is the way to market yourself in ‘08.
