Report: Olmert orders assassination of top Hamas leaders

We’ve heard this before, but not since Olmert bungled the war with Lebanon and hardliner Avigdor Lieberman joined the cabinet. They might feel they have something to prove.

The heat is on in Gaza — one way or another:

“The Gaza Strip is about to turn into the biggest terrorist compound on earth,” Yuval Diskin, the head of the Israeli internal security service, warned a parliamentary committee last week. “We have no choice but to consider a massive military operation there.”

How do you say, “It’s about time” in Hebrew?

Or “better late than never”?

I predict a revisionist Spielberg movie in a few years.

AHHHH! The Jews are attacking “innocent” terrorists!!

Troy Rasmussen on November 18, 2006 at 10:56 PM

Good Luck, and Good Hunting.

Cynthia McKinney is deeply saddened.

They should have never evacuated the Gaza strip to begin with. “Land for peace”. What a pipe dream.

thedecider on November 18, 2006 at 11:48 PM

God Bless Israel.

infidel4life on November 19, 2006 at 12:11 AM

Just do it. Go Israel.

Europe and the rest of the cleptocrats at the UN can kiss off and die.

Thank you.

Stormy70 on November 19, 2006 at 12:21 AM

Assassinating terrorist leaders? Sweet! Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do?

ReubenJCogburn on November 19, 2006 at 12:28 AM

During her visit after the scirmish of last summer Condolezza Rice offered U.S. support to the hamas opposition in Palastine. Support like in armorment ect. It seemed a little abstract at the time but this latest development might reveal her method behind the madness. Hey here is a neat little essay at http://www.dvbs.com/world/ClashOfCivilizationc.htm I call it Jihad for dummies (me) The host site is sourced from my home town Camden N.J. http://www.dvrbs.com kinda neatwith lots of misc. information

sonnyspats1 on November 19, 2006 at 12:35 AM

once more with feeling!

sonnyspats1 on November 19, 2006 at 12:42 AM

I give up

sonnyspats1 on November 19, 2006 at 12:44 AM

I still say, let the annexation begin. When the Pali’s start losing more land and the Israeli’s explain their policy is to exchange peace for returning to the borders of last week, the Pali’s will get serious.

sonnyspats1, this is how to make the link feature work. I’m not being snarky, took me a long time to figure it out too.

1) Go to the web page you want to link, click on the URL and copy the entire URL into the clipboard.

2) Come back to the HotAir editor and type your comment, be careful not to do copy and paste or the URL will be erased from the clipboard.

3) Figure out which word or phrase you want to high-lite as the link in the comment and click your cursor at it’s beginning.

4) Click on the LINK button, and overpaste the entire URL into the window, then click OK, to make the window go away.

5) Click your cursor at the END of the word or phrase that is to be the High-lited LINK, then click the CLOSE TAGS button. …. your done.

Maxx on November 19, 2006 at 1:22 AM

Thanks Max but what gave you the idea I needed help? I mean it only took me six times!!!

sonnyspats1 on November 19, 2006 at 1:28 AM

LOL … That feature drives a lot of people nuts. A little help link on the editor might be nice ….. hint hint AP. Some of us have never used an HTML editor before, hell before I came here, I couldn’t even spell HTML.

Maxx on November 19, 2006 at 1:40 AM

OK Maxx this link is for you.If it works.

sonnyspats1 on November 19, 2006 at 2:09 AM

My instructions obviously suck.

Maxx on November 19, 2006 at 2:42 AM

Ok Max this is off topic but I don’t have any links related to this subject and I wanted to try so I’ll post here a picture of me at last months A.N.S.W.E.R. rally
Ok did that work?

Gwillie on November 19, 2006 at 6:02 AM

Hey Maxx your instructions don’t suck

Gwillie on November 19, 2006 at 6:04 AM

Israel, in the long run, has no choice as Hamas and Hezbollah have no intention of declaring truce or peach with Israel.

The sooner Israel gets on with it, the more Israelies they will save.

georgej on November 19, 2006 at 7:14 AM

Er… peace, not peach.

georgej on November 19, 2006 at 7:15 AM

Hey Sonny! Camden? I’m from Turnersville, Washington Township. S’up neighbor? (In Dover, DE now)

Tony737 on November 19, 2006 at 8:18 AM

Try this. (P.S. This place prolly needs a FAQ/How To/User Guide thingy)

1. Go to the web site and page that you want to link.

2. In the address bar, highlight the entire URL(link)

3. Right click (with the right mouse button); this will cause the options to pop up, and then click (with the left mouse button) on copy. You may want to use cut, this way it erases the link so you know it is in the clipboard.

4a. Post your comment on HOTAIR. When you come to the part that you want to put the link in, click on the “link” button.

4b. If you have scripts disabled in Internet Explorer, you will need to click on the warning at the top of the page (which will give you an option menu) and select “temporarily allow scripted windows” You only need to do this if it gives you the warning message, of not, move on.

5. Highlight the http:// in the box where you can type. (This way when you paste, it will erase what is already there) right click (with the right mouse button, which will pop up an option menu) then click (with the left mouse button) on paste. You should see your link in the box.

6. Click ok. Now you should see something like this example. lessthansign a href=”http://mylink.here” greaterthansign (I just realized that if I gave the example in correct format, it would not show up. So there should be and actual greater/less than sign instead of the words)

7. Right after the less than sign (do not put in a space), type what you want to be the words in place of the link. (Exp. Click this you will.)

8. With your cursor (there blinky thing showing where you are going to be typing if you started typing right then) at the end of what you just typed, click the “link” button again. By this time, (it being already clicked once it should look like “/link”

9. You are done. Feel satisfied.

MirCat on November 19, 2006 at 8:34 AM

Sorry for the double post.

10. Once noticing that you have made typos do one of the following:

a. Determine that the typo is minor; as in what you meant to say is not effected. Leave it alone. Chances are the only way people will notice, is if you tell them; like leaving out the words “the” or “a”. Most people’s brains will simply add it in for them. Just ask Neil Armstrong.

b. If you determine that the typo is major; as in it changing the meaning or confusing the reader, do the following

I. Start your follow up post with an apology for the double post.

II. Explain what should be corrected like the following.

Exp. http:// in section 5 (as well as here) should not be understood as a link. The page will automatically print it as such.

Exp. Section 8 “there blinky thing” should read “the blinky thing”

11. Now you are really done. Feel slightly less satisfied.

MirCat on November 19, 2006 at 8:48 AM

Maxx, Thank You. Tony 737 Yo! MirCat, Thank You. I will try to get it right. I need windows for dummies, or mabey windows for Sonny’s

sonnyspats1 on November 19, 2006 at 10:24 AM

What would it take to seriously address the demographic imbalance between the Israeli Jews and the muslims in Israel, the west bank, the Gaza strip, and neighboring Arab countries?

Kralizec on November 19, 2006 at 12:10 PM

Hey Gwillie, great picture, and I like the sign too ! And I checked out your site. God Bless you guys for taking a stand ! Fantastic !
