I agree the Jedi were essentially corrupt and fascist as seen in EP1-3, they had a disdain for the elected Republic. Just because they were agaisnt an evil monarchy/authoritarianism doesn’t mean thier code was perfect.

I do wonder what the “UK Branch” of the Jedi Order has as a position on Episode I’s contention that “The Force” is an infectious disease.

Sure, I mean, I’d love to have a lightsaber and be able to jump 100 feet in the air, run 200mph and levitate airplanes, but other than that, count me out.
