The topic was how a hotel chain pushed back against CNN over their Al Qaeda-supplied “snuff” sniper video clips of US soldiers and marines being killed in Iraq. This is an important topic, given the wide-spread presence of CNN in airports and bars.

Grebrook, in troll like fashion, hijacked the thread and made it one about the “evils” of FNC.

Trolls can’t be debated — they are not here for “debate” or “discussion.” They are here to upset us and start an argument.

I always laugh at the portrayal of Fox News anchors and other moderates as being “right wing”. *I* am right-wing.
A hundred years from now, perhaps, the Fox News moderate-types might be willing to finally admit I was right. Only it’ll be about 100 years too late to save the nation.

They weren’t just dropped because the anchor’s there are a bunch of former democrat operatives and libs. They were dropped because they showed enemy propaganda. If fox did that kind of thing, I would gladly see them dropped as well. I’m just wondering what you think is ok to show on a news program. If CNN got a tape of a female g.i being raped would they show that? Would you be defending their right to show that? There are some things we don’t need to see; it’s disgusting enough just to hear about. CNN jumped that line big time. If I was President Jorge Arbusto, I would treat CNN like Al-Jazeera; no access. You want news, go cover the terrorists. You like death p*rn so much greebook, go hang out an islamic fascist website. Maybe they’ll invite you to join.

Anyway, we live in a land that gives us great freedoms of choice, right? If you don’t like FNC, vote with your remote and watch CNN. If you don’t like the decision Stony Creek Inns has made, stay elsewhere. As for the level to which you’ve carried things, I dare say it’s time to sound a BOO FREAKING HOO. I like that, with FNC, we have the same ability to choose. I love it.

Right, Mortis (no pun intended).

That’s precisely why I watch Fox. Say what you will, Grebrook, Fox may have a higher ratio of conservatives, but at least ther is a ratio. On most other cable networks the only perspective on the conservative view is to tell one how wrong, corrupt, unfair, unpopular, or evil it is.

I am a conservative. I like to hear our side of the story from time to time.

There’s no other network available that does not consistently bash the “right” point of view so I avoid them when at all possible. I don’t give a crap what Olbergasm or Matthews or Katie or Charlie Gibson have to say.

I’ll surf the web to get an unfiltered version of the news so at least when I watch Fox, or have to debate my view I know the facts beforehand.

Is Fox biased? Sure, they lean right. That’s why I like them.

So, in other words, it doesn’t matter that 100% of Fox’s anchors and commentators are Republicans? As long as it doesn’t taint Shepherd Smith and Carl Cameron doing their reports? B.S. And Cavuto and Hume are precisely that, anchors, not commentators, but they’re overtly biased.
