In Ohio 2004 officials there purged tens of thousands of eligible voters from the rolls, neglected to process registration cards generated by Democratic voter drives, and shortchanged Democratic precincts when they allocated voting machines. You remember voters in heavily Democratic districts waiting in line until 2am to cast their ballots? Ken Blackwell was 2004’s Katherine Harris. Good riddance to both of them.

Right on that! The only thing is – both parties have dirt – it’s usually a matter of which has the least in this or that particular election cycle – wouldn’t you say?

Bob Taft, Ken Blackwell, and their like, with the endemic corruption that symbolizes their rule, which is far more widespread than is reported – did for the Democrats what they couldn’t do themselves –

Created a state of Democrats out of Republicans! Now what they do with what they have been given is up to them!

Which part are you casting as the netroots, and which as the donk party? MY first assumption would be the party as Annie, since they could easily “hobble” the fringies. But then I have to consider which character is lucid, and which bonkers.
