…the Comedy Channel…an arm of the Democratic Party.

Who says they’re a humorless, colorless band of apparachnicks, frat-boy altruists and suburban socialists?

They also have a lock on the varioius history and international Discovery/Times channels, Bravo, and that “independent” film channel.

On the other hand, the Republicans have the Outdoor Channel, most of SPEED, the Golf Channel, and are seeking to option the home shopping channel with that demonstrates that nifty radish slicer.

TBN will remain stubbornly neutral. Disney is on the fence.

It was Michael Eric Dougherty of The American Conservative magazine and the blog Surfeited with Daisies who played token conservative for CC on election night and got the scoop. So not just Comedy Central but actually paleocons have the best intel on the inner workings of the Bush administration. At this point, sure, why not?

This is great on so many levels. And also sad that Comedy Central provides better news coverage without trying than all the fools who try so hard. John Stewart is always asked how the Daily Show constantly finds hilariousily embarassing news clips of politicians looking like hypocrits and making asses out of themselves and his answer is always…”an intern and a video machine.” A little research can go a long way…
