I’m still wondering what happened to Michael Steele.

Steele was railroaded, man…he was practically bilked out of that house seat by the MDMSM. Torks me off. I have a couple of friends that live there…and they’re both conservative.

The problem with conservatives is that even when they win, they still behave like they lost. The problem with democrats is that even when they lose, they still behave like they won.

Letters and phone calls. More letters and more phone calls. Revoke your party membership, or at the very least threaten to. A critical mass of pressure is the ONLY thing that will bring about an appropriate change of direction of the Republican party.

I don’t see Pence’s concept as a compromise. I believe it’s a fairly tough position, while being slightly short of universal deportation, something everybody thinks cannot be enforced.

We are a nation of laws, TO BE ENFORCED, or we will cease to be a nation as it is currently known.

Get Pence into a position, and Tancredo’s stock goes way up for ‘08. Right now, he’s the only Republican I could consider pulling the lever for.

We all see who “thinks” they run the republican party, and maybe they do have alot of power. However, now THE PEOPLE must step up and put pressure on our elected representatives. WE are the party, those in Congress are OUR representatives! The Founding Fathers understood, and embraced, the fact that the true POWER of this country resides in the people. Thomas Jefferson said, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”
Today a literal interpretation is nigh unto impossible, but figuratively, many leaders of our party have become tyrants and it is our duty, even privilege, to cut them off at the knees and remind them that they SERVE US!!!

Idea! Since the new Republican party seems unwilling to do what it’s supporters voted them there to do, how about they at least give us something fun to root for. Here’s my thought for 2008

VP – Laura Ingraham
Sec of Defense – Ann Coulter
Peggy Noonan – Press Secretary
Kirsten Powers – Receptionist (heh, just kidding :))

and Michelle Malkin for President! Of course she’d have to dye her hair, because the theme is ‘Vote what really matters. Vote blonde.”

Admit it. It doesn’t matter who we vote for anymore, they are going to stab us in the back when they get to DC. Might as well choose people who are enjoyable to listen to as they twist the knife.

(Yeah, this Martinez thing really was the tipping point. I’m p*ssed.)

Unless you support Pence and Shadegg for House
Minority Leader and Whip, respectively, I will be
sitting out the election in 2008. For ALL offices.

There’s a reason we are now holding elections for
MINORITY leader and whip. Pence and Shadegg are the
way back to the Majority. Start acting like the Party
of Reagan, or you can count on more of the same come
2008.

Not that it’ll do any good. Brady’s one of the boys’ club, and the people in my district (a safe Republican one) are too blinded by all the bacon he brings home. Much as I hate politics, I’m seriously considering challenging him in the primary one of these years, just to see if I can make a dent.
