Great Vent. With those statistics, no wonder Dean and Pelosi are against impeachment (at this time). Just wait until the glee disolves and the rage begins.

I have a feeling this will be a great run-up to 2008.

Michelle is motivation for anyone. I have a hangover from last week. How can she be so perky? I don’t know, but we have to be.

seejanemom on November 13, 2006 at 8:35 AM

Maybe if they stay busy enough investigating misconduct by the administration, there won’t be enough time to raise taxes.

kmcguire on November 13, 2006 at 8:42 AM

We can hope they will busy themselves in a sloppy frenzy of rock turning and muck raking and forget our troops are over there at all. In the meantime, our boys will get the job done and the Libs will be easy pickings for ’08.

seejanemom on November 13, 2006 at 8:45 AM

Gosh, I hope you’re right, Michelle, and the American public doesn’t get carried away with Bush and GOP Derangement. One thing for sure, our enemies are beside themselves right now that the cut-and-run Dems are coming back into majority rule.

Webutante on November 13, 2006 at 8:57 AM

When do we the public get our full accounting of who leaked classified national security information to the New York Times?

Maybe it’s on Waxman’s list of things to investigate. And maybe Santa will finally bring me a pony this year.

On another related note, did HA break protein wisdom?

Pablo on November 13, 2006 at 9:16 AM

Yes the Morlocks now rule.

AZPatriot on November 13, 2006 at 9:31 AM

Don’t worry about the public..we’ll have propaganda movies about how great it is it have Congress doing their best to kill the war on terror…Dan Rather has a new box of crayons and is drafting a brand new set of ‘fake but accurate’ documents…WITH COLOR. I understand Hollywood is attempting to construct a sense of friendship between Iran and the US much like we had with Australia in the 80’s by making a series of heartwarming movies involving a loveable scamp from Tehran akin to Crocodile Dundee. Headchopper Hasheed will have a comic set of misadventures in Las Vegas. Laugh along as he accidentally is dropped off at a adult movie convention and has to humorously slaughter his way back to the madrassa. Alec Baldwin and Cindy Sheehan have already signed on to costar. Remember, Dhimmitude only hurts if you resist.

austinnelly on November 13, 2006 at 9:37 AM

Dammit Michelle, there you go insulting the Great Green One! Comparing the Hulk to the Democratic Party!

For all his strength, force, and raw rage the hulk was basically good – always saved the damsel in distress and beat the crap out of the bad guys.

A bit of the Hulk is something we sorely need in the Republican leadership IMHO.

Hmm…. personally I can’t think of a cartoon villain which the democrats remind me of. Finding real villains is easy – Castro, Che, Pol-pot, Stalin, etc…. But I can’t think of a cartoon villain who was that bad….

CrazyFool on November 13, 2006 at 10:54 AM

i saw those statistics on foxnews this morning and couldn’t help but wonder; where were all these voters last tuesday? they said that 4 out of 5 persons asked, said they were at least “somewhat concerned” that the dems would force a premature pullout of the troops… hmmmm…. if there is so much concern, why give nancy and murtha et al; the ability to drag the nation into a morass of pointless “investigations”? talk about a quagmire! time will tell….

angry_mike on November 13, 2006 at 11:05 AM

I am conservative, and vote Republican, and I know that these are going to be tough times in the next few years. Let them have their subpoenas and let’s get the leadership under oath in courtrooms. When the truth spoken under oath continues to be at odds with the Democratic fantasies, what will the Dems do? Ignore the truth and continue to screech lies maniacally? Yeah, that will win voters next time.
I know, I know-the Dems have power again. But it is limited to what they can get away with. Watch them like Hawks.

Doug on November 13, 2006 at 11:21 AM

That just goes to show you how badly the Republicans had run their party into the ground. Knowing that Democrats would screw up the war in Iraq, the war on terror and more than likely leave us more open to terrorist attacks still wasn’t enough to keep people from replacing the Republicans with them.

Hopefully they’ll get their house in order in the next 2 years so voters will feel comfortable voting them back into control. It really comes down to who is voted into minority leadership positions at this point. If it’s new blood then things will already be looking good. If it’s old blood then they more than likely won’t win anything back in ’08.

Benaiah on November 13, 2006 at 11:33 AM

It will be great to investigate the Bush shenanigans. He so roundly inusutled his conservative base by his back stabbing fraud. He deserves to be impeached. He has gotten thousands of American men killed and wounded through his incompetent fighting of the Iraqi war. He honors traitors like George Tenet. He works with Ted Kennedy enlarging the Ed. dept. …..
I like the line from ‘The Legends of the Fall’…..

LZVandy on November 13, 2006 at 12:10 PM

Michelle, I fear that you are right but I hope that you are wrong. Democrats behaving responsibly would be very bad for my party, the GOP, but it would be good for my country, the USA. The latter comes first.
For the latter to come true, the Dems will have to sell themselves to the general public by stuffing the moonbats into a barrel and feeding them through the bunghole. Shall we pray for said miracle?

Oilpatcher on November 13, 2006 at 12:11 PM

Arrrggghhh! Dean smash!

Well, CrazyFool..just watch The Venture Bros. on Adult Swim..there is a villain called “The Monarch”. Don’t ask..just watch.

kiakjones on November 13, 2006 at 12:55 PM

The thing is, with the Dem win, they now feel like the country agrees with them, not that it was punishing rinos.(Next time can we do it in the primaries and NOT the general election?) So, the outcome will be that they will speak what they are thinking and bury themselves.

Also, I attribute the loss to Republicans in office playing nice and not calling the Dems on their faults. Like (insert any dem quote here).

– The Cat

P.S. They probe the President, he should send the justice department after Jefferson, Murth, Reid, Every one of the Clintons. Also, he should start now and not wait for their attack dogs.

mymanpotsandpans on November 13, 2006 at 2:34 PM

Hmmmmm…..what would Ben Grimm say?

Nice vent, Michelle. I still feel that America will be punished for voting for Republicans and for Pres Bush twice.

Remember, Dem/libs (especially Nancy Pelosi) dont forgive and dont forget. Do not be fooled by the calm of civility that we saw her during her sitting with Pres Bush (look carefully at her face…it has a smug “I’m gonna fix you but good” expression) Indeed, the moderate dems are standing by awaiting their marching orders since they are beholding to the other dems for getting them in, so to speak.

This is going to be a rough two years. The ISLAMO-NAZIS ARE DELIGHTED THAT THE DEMS WON (gee whiz…I wonder why?)

The False Dervish on November 13, 2006 at 4:46 PM

The Hulk was always misunderstood.

Perhaps a better comparison would be when Hulk became Mr Fix-It and worked for the criminal element as an enforcer would be more apt comparison to the Deaniacs.

Did I just say that out loud?

On a side: They bleeped MM on Fox tonight for saying Dems didnt have any bleep …balls, gumballs that is. Great Stuff.

Donkeyhue on November 13, 2006 at 9:57 PM

Great Vent Michelle!

I believe that the majority was tilted to the Left’s favor – but temporarily. Given their own course the Left will do unto themselves as no one else can – and the weakness the Left brings to our nation will become all too apparent as time goes on.

What we who are on the right of Chamberlain left can do is to keep our good manners, engage in clear thinking and rational discussion of the issues at hand, and provide an alternative when that all too soon period before the next election comes to pass.

omegaram on November 13, 2006 at 10:27 PM

Be careful what you wish for indeed Michelle. The msm has the public so worked up in a frenzy over Republican shortcommings, they may well have forgot just how third world corrupt the Democrats are. They just take whatever they want from the government. How many FORTUNES were made from welfare fraud and misappropriations to public programs alone. This whole election was about power yes, but mostly who controls the purse strings. MONEY MONEY MONEY It makes me sick!

sonnyspats1 on November 13, 2006 at 11:13 PM

The Democrat and the frog.

Bill C on November 14, 2006 at 1:04 AM

We need to make sure the public are reminded that the DEMOCRATS NOW OWN THE WAR ON TERROR. They are going to impose a 4-6 month withdrawal from Iraq. They are going to wave the white flag of surrender to Al Qaeda.

When the next terrorist strike occurs, as it will, we must remind as often as necessary that the Democrats are responsible. We must call for their heads, demand resignations of committee heads and the party leadership, including Pelosi herself.

We must demand and demand and demand that they QUIT until they either leave town on their own or we throw them out.

Since innocent American lives will be lost in terror strikes inside America, we must take NO PRISONERS.
