He’ll be filing dispatches for the Washington Examiner while he’s over there and maybe shooting a Vent or two, time permitting.

The Washington Examiner is a great newspaper. First of all, it is free and delivered to everybody’s house. Best of all: It’s conservative!

It started up last year, seemed to be liberal, then apparently did a 180 and became conservative, shocking liberals. The Washington Examiner backed all the Republican candidates in the election.

Washington now has 2 conservative newspapers and one liberal.

I never wanted journalists anywhere near my tank company; however in Bill’s case, I would make an exception. Remember, take care of the troops and they will take care of you. May he be protected and return home safe.

Too bad more people like Bill don’t do this. Godspeed! I thought the number of journalists in Iraq was intentionally limited – or maybe that was just something from the grapevine. Anyway, I look forward to reading about his take on the situation there. It should start becoming very interesting as soon as the “phased withdrawal” begins.
