There should be NO over sight and investigations? There have been so many ear marks, back room deals and midnight - 3am amendments it makes me sick!!! Take former speaker Dennis Hastert: Abramoff, Foley, Prairie Parkway (that's a good one) and his lobbyist son and so on. The 3am amendment to a bill with his buddy **Tom Delay approving the parkway, ended up netting him a cool 2 million when he sold off land near the parkway. WOW Bravo. If the Dem's investigate and uncover more, good for them. Its about America and the people not one party. (**fraud, perjury k street lobbying, terri schiavo, abramoff, TRIMPAC/ARMPAC, resigned and district went to Dem Lampson Nov 7-06. Good bye crook, and enjoy your Cuban cigars Tommy. I love he has the balls to go on FOX NEWS and be self righteous.)

And we don't need investigations? REALLY?

Lets learn folks, when both executive and legislative branches are under one party (either one) it's BAD. It spells corruption. Enough with the rubber stamp. The GOP walked over the DEMS and gloated for the last 6 years. Pay back is a beotch. The GOP is worried the Dems will treat them the same. They should be, they where bullies.

19 Congressman and Senators (15 GOP by the way) are indited, under investigation or in jail, and we don't want investigations? GOOD we should investigate.

I REALLY DISLIKE HANNITY. He is a deceiver. I like Michelle and she makes good points, but she just got into partisan Dem bashing with nothing but THEY ARE GOING TO DO IT; THE SKY IS FALLING or "Henny-Penny" as old Rumsfeld would say.

Can't a party change. God knows the GOP did, with their big Gov deficit spending. GOPs love to talk about log cabin / Regan republicans. That is so quaint and laughable. GOP, is the party of corruption, big gov spending and deficits, circa 2006, not to mention failed prosecution of the Iraq war and national discraces like Katrina. FACT, deal with it.

Its very freeing to be an independant and centrist. I see hypocrisy on both sides. Clearly the conservative pundits mission is to attack the DEMS, regardless of what they do. It's all about power. After all that's the only way you can steal effectively, have no one watching. When Bush took office with both houses GOP, I was cautiously optimistic and wished they succeeded. They did not and failed miserably, betraying the people. Now the Dems have some power, I hope they do well. Any one who wishes they fail is anti American and shall I say it....... "whats the terrorist to win." Ha ha ha, yes, vote republican the terrorist win, has a ring to it in 2008. So if Bush or anyone said a vote for Dems is a vote for terrorist is stupid. It's a ridiculous thing to say void of any intellectual honesty or deserving of serious debate.

There are some Republicans who are sweating. They would love to embarrass or bully the Dems out of investigations. The people of the USA voted Dems in because the GOP was out of control. Regardless of party, I want the message sent, stealing, lying and hypocrisy will not be tolerated. I think that is what the people have said, investigate. Impeach the president? NO and the Dems said they are not going to do that. They better not, its a waste of time as it was with Clinton. If they do that, they would be voted out in 2008, even though there are more serious reasons to impeach Bush than Clinton.

Both sides do there little revenge acts. Remember Clinton? The conservatives thought his presidency was invalid, so they spent 8 years and millions investigating him. That's the GOP in my mind. Investigate your enemy to death. They found nothing, except he lied about fellatio from a 22 year old consenting adult female, and he was almost impeached. Brilliant. What a waste of time. When I think of GOP, I think of hateful rhetoric against Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi. Its distasteful and not honorable. Fine, disagree but stop whining about, "they called Bush stupid". Its wrong on both sides.

How many GOP congressman and senators have a mistress? Some even choke their mistress like Sherwood (R)! At least Clinton did not choke anyone. Oh, lets not forget our favorite pedophile, Foley and other "conservatives" who enlist male prostitutes for sex and drugs, BRAVO. Foley by the way went back for more rehab after his 30 day alcohol rehab was up. Ha ha ha. I did not know it took so long to get rid of an addiction you didn't have. He's an addicted to preditory pedophilia of little boys. The Perv needs to go to jail. The GOP point man on child internet porn protection is a pedophile, and you are worried about Nancy Polosi. You can't make this stuff up. Oh Hastert did not know anything, right.

I enjoyed when Hannity starts to stutter, a little over half way though this clip, all flustered about HOW HE IS NOT SO FORGIVING. SHUT UP! In the this short clip above Hannity trotted out the old pony, "CUT AND RUN", "THE DEMS HAVE NO PLAN", blaaa blaaa blaaa. Carl Rowe must be proud. Does anyone take Hannity insanity seriously?

Michelle please predict as you like, but I hope you give credit where credit is due. I have never seen you so hateful and full of stereotypical prejudice. Is it sour grapes? Your party, the GOP lost; I think its a win for America and democracy. Even RUSH Limbaugh says hes happy because he got tired of "carrying their (gop's) water". I would concentrate more on the problems of your favorite party, the GOP, than pick on the Dems. Its to Americas benifit to have two strong parties. The key to GOP winning in 2008 is working with the Dems on a centrist agenda, with Iraq, ***Border, economy, curb out of control spending and corruption on top of the list. If some republicans have to fall so be it. Dirty Dems, GOOD BYE as well. (*** The problem is the GOP is in big business pockets and the Dems have their liberal rights up their backsides; neither wants to stop it, but the people do. SO WRITE YOU CONGRESSMAN AND SENATOR, 700 mile fence? NO, how about +2000 mile fence.)

Constantine, if you began randomly sampling Americans, you would (statistically) have to talk to about 1600 of them before you found one who was an adult with a familiy who was making minimum wage. It is literally a non-issue, statistically.

The vast, VAST majority of minimum wage earners are teenagers (or barely older), or--and this is the big category noone wants to talk about--service employees, like $2.17/hr servers, who make much much more than their actual hourly wages.

To me, the war and the sovereignity of our nation are one and the same. If we lose our borders, our country ceases to exist. I can understand Danno’s point of view, although I would never call for the impeachment of the POTUS during a time of war.

If however, the next act of war in our country comes from the lack of border security, my opinion might change.

Thank you for seeing half of my point. The reasons I agree to support Impeaching Bush is because he wants to be bipartisan [allow libs to get their way], and because Americans voted in the Impeach Bush Party. Who am I to argue against so many, and why shouldn't I do as Bush promises to do?

No one has yet asked me the pertinant question, but as you were nice I'll give you the answer. My intentions are to <strike>smack </strike>wake up those who were happy to allow democrats to take control of Congress, and to wake up Bush to the fact that he is quickly running out of supporters. From the posts I've gotten it appears that I've accomplished half of my mission here. [snicker]

That's one way Joshua.

But what I think Mr./Ms. Drifter wants to know is that they are paid for by the increase in government tax revenues. The increase in tax revenues are brought about by the increase in tax receipts. The increase in tax receipts were caused by the increased economic stimulus, which were a direct result of the tax breaks that were implemented by the current president and a REPUBLICAN Congress. They passed the tax RELIEF in order to spur a depressed economy after the Clinton Administration squandered the increased economic prosperity that fueled the Economy in the 90's, and the September 11 attacks. These attacks, you will remember, totally crippled the economy as recorded by the NASDAQ and the DOW because they brought Wall Street to a grinding halt until Sept. 17. But don't take my word for it. Read this article from CNNMoney.com:

I personally don’t know how anyone can be thinking about tax cuts when there’s a war on. I mean, who do you think pays for these things?

THeDRiFTeR

Here's how you solve that problem. When you have tax cuts during a war, you don't reduce funding for defense, you reduce funding for the arts or needless give-away programs to pay for those tax cuts.

In the real world the economy runs primarily on average people buying things they need . . .
Constantine on November 11, 2006 at 3:26 PM

AH! SO TRUE Constatine. However, you must realize that minimum wage earners are generally under the age of 18. Very few, adults over the age of 20 work for the federal minimum wage. Also, if you want to allow average people more money to, "buy the things they need" then tax cuts are the best way to do that. Tax cuts do not have a negative impact on the ecomony the way a minimum wage increase does.

Before you start spouting off about "TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH" let me explain something, I worked for a Pepsi distributor in Northern Utah at the time that the President and Congress passed the tax cuts a few years ago. I only made $27,000 a year, not what I consider RICH, but the tax cuts gave me more money at the end of the year to spend on my needs and wants. So, unless you are not working at all, and if you have a competent accountant, then the recent tax cuts should have given consumers more money.

AH! SO TRUE Constatine. However, you must realize that minimum wage earners are generally under the age of 18. Very few, adults over the age of 20 work for the federal minimum wage. Also, if you want to allow average people more money to, “buy the things they need” then tax cuts are the best way to do that. Tax cuts do not have a negative impact on the ecomony the way a minimum wage increase does.

Constantine, resident of the moonbat alternate reality posted:

"Republicans: the party of irony. Accusing Democratic lawmakers of arrogance while locking them out of their own committee meetings; of disloyalty and treason while violating the law and shredding the constitution; of national suicide while pursuing a policy that empties government coffers and incites more terrorism; of decrying the killing of innocents while effecting the very same through their support of an immoral war in Iraq. Oh, and discussing giving the Democrats “enough rope” when the Republicans have not only shot themselves in the foot, they’ve then fallen into a trough of tar and rolled into a pile of feathers."

Moonbats just love to create their own history, don't they?

Of course, not a word of the above paragraph written by moonbat Constantine is true, but HE believes it. And that is what makes him a moonbat resident of that alternate reality.

Did you notice how Constantine, like all moonbat idiots likes to use "run on" accusations against Bush and the Republicans as if the longer the list of imaginary facts he can quote changes his lies into truth?

It part of their pattern of delusion. Dr. Pat Santy explains why they do this in one of her blog entries:

The number of things that Bush has been blamed for in this world since 9/11 (even acts of God like Tsunamis, hurricanes and other natural disasters) is the stuff of major comedy. You name the horrible event, and he is identified as the etiologic agent.

He is blamed when he does something (anything) and he is blamed when he does nothing. He is blamed for things that ocurred even before he was President, as well as everything that has happened since. He is blamed for things he says; and for things he doesn't say.

What makes Bush Hatred completely insane however, is the almost delusional degree of unremitting certitude of Bush's evil; while simultaneously believing that the TRUE perpetrators of evil in the world are somehow good and decent human beings with the world's intersts at heart.

This psychological defense mechanism is referred to as "displacement".

One way you can usually tell that an individual is using displacement is that the emotion being displaced (e.g., anger) is all out of proportion to the reality of the situation. The purpose of displacement is to avoid having to cope with the actual reality. Instead, by using displacement, an individual is able to still experience his or her anger, but it is directed at a less threatening target than the real cause. In this way, the individual does not have to be responsible for the consequences of his/her anger and feels more safe--even thought that is not the case.

Dr. Pat Santy, MD.

In other words, The longer the list of idiot lies he can tell, the more self righteous he feels.

So, the question comes down to one of these choices:

Does Constantine really believe this nonsense?

Or is Constantine simply trolling us as our own personal Dr. Joseph Gobbels.

I believe the latter.

Even if my comment was a sterotype, which it isn't let me submit to you an example.

When theres a pot on the stove, and the flame is lit, do you debate whether or not to get an oven mitt, because you might imply the pot is hot and you might offend it by having one, so you grab it and... imagine that... it's hot and you get burned....

... or do you get the damn mitt just to be safe and cover your 6?

Awwww... what am I doing Self-Responsability and Rationality talking to liberals... I might as well be talking to a wall. At least when Im drunk the wall talks back...

How much is that job truely worth? Not enough for a mortgage, a car, and 2 kids. And all it does is screw consumers, and in the long run, the economy with an inflated minimum wage. It’s not my fault these high schoolers can’t keep their legs crossed and have kids too early, I’ll be DAMNED if I pay for it.

Stunning. I'm sure minimum wage earners have the same warm feelings for you that you have for them.

In the real world the economy runs primarily on average people buying things they need, not simply on capital investment as the Republicans' corporate masters would have you believe.

incites more terrorism; of decrying the killing of innocents while effecting the very same through their support of an immoral war in Iraq.

It would be so much more moral to allow a dictator to invade countries (Kuwait/ Iran) kill hundreds of thousands of his OWN COUNTRY-MEN, and millions of other people ??? How far would he have gone? Look at Hitler. Both were inches away from atomic weapons, what do you think they would have done then?
US Incite terror? You , ma'am, are the inciter of ill will. But you may get your wish to abandon the war on terror, then the terrorists might be on your doorstep. Please come back then and tell us who you will call for help?

I’ve not found anything on what’s up with Reid and Jefferson lately. I expect if either has been found to have violated the law (Jefferson: probably) they will step down and be prosecuted.

No one casres about kick backs, screw Reid. Jeffersons guilty as sin and re-ran. He won't step down in the orange jumpsuit, he'll be removed.

At least when foley got caught being a perv (No laws broken, just sicko) he quit.

Even child molesters have more class ten democrats... how sad.

…there…now you can say that you’ve been useful, Connie…now…head back up the cat-flap…there’s a good boy….
