He says he was 18 when Foley hit on him.

Eleven years earlier, as an 18-year-old congressional intern, Hudson had been approached by Foley at a Capitol Hill bar, Hudson said. The congressman asked Hudson for his e-mail address and started sending him invitations to drinks and meals

Hudson is openly gay, so why should he have been bothered a man hit on him when he was 18?

I would still like to know if he knew about those IMs before he posted those emails.

Consider yourself lucky. Wasn’t the greatest moment of my life. But, of course I was an actual child at the time, not of driving (or almost voting) age. And, I didn’t write emails – instead my family called the police. My snark comes from the fact that being “hit on” is a far cry from being abused.

I would still like to see the connection between this individual and Human Rights Campaign, a gay rights activist organization, explored further. It is quite clear that NBC had another source, one who NBC stated is not a Democrat. Some believe that source is none other than Jeff Trandahl. Trandahl is openly gay, a bigwig at HRC, and supervised the House page program. Technically, he is said to be a registered Republican. However, he hasn’t given to any Republican campaign in six years or so but instead has, of course, made donations to HRC (which backs Democratic candidates overwhelmingly). As you can see, he was talking to the FBI previously regarding Foley:

Mike Mings, another HRC bigwig and someone also associated with the page program is someone I still am curious about also.
