Is this what humor has become?

The two things that struck me the most were his quickness and ability to play off his “subjects”, but especially the pomposity/elitism of a few, like Andy Rooney or Donald Trump. These types cannot be upstaged, and when they sense they might be getting close, their narcissism shuts down the “interview”. NO sense of humor.

Many years ago I remember working in a lumberyard millwork shop where the minimum charge was a whopping $15. Andy Rooney came in and made quite a stink….He squeeled like a stuck pig because he didn’t want to spend the $15! I swear.

My 13 year old son saw Borat this weekend. He agreed that the only problem w/ the movie was that it was difficult to hear sometimes because the entire theater was laughing so hard.

People who are offended, especially by Ali G’s “interviews”, simply don’t have any ability to laugh, are too sensitive, or are simply not people I’d have any fun with! B O R I N G.

Lighten up. Laugh a little. Life’s too short.

Wow! I haven’t seen ’seen’ draw a scene like ’sene’ has seen.

If I’m going to read a conservative Jewish female’s blog, I think Pamela is much better looking. Besides, in ‘04 Debbie told me (at a pro-Bush appearance by Ed Koch) that I shouldn’t vote for Bush.

She was right, GWB is not a conservative and has even out spent LBJ, left the borders wide open, fought the war against Islamists with Politically Correct failure,arresting our Border Agents,prosecuting our solders, allowing Condi to stop Israel in defending itself against Hamas…

I could go on and on but because of GWB, we will loose the house and senate.

The movie is relatively short and perhaps the first half is better than the last half. It sort of loses a bit of steam towards the end.

When Ali-G interviewd Ralph Nader I was in tears.

This guy is an equal opprtunity offender, which makes it more a test of the viewer’s objectivity than anything. The scene in the rodeo proves to me that this movie shows Americans to be by far the most tolerant people in the world; If he did that in 90% of the other countries in the world he wouldn’t have walked out alive…

Borat is showing the idiocy of the Left for all to see.

It is revealing that the left cannot even seem to understand that THEY are the brunt of this character’s humor.

The entire schtick is based upon the way the Left will put up with anything at all, including someone bringing a bag of their own feces to the dinner table (in the movie), rather than stand up for their own society’s values.

And from Colmes’ lsughter we can see that they don’t even get it that the joke is on them.

Saw the movie last night, I’ve seen funnier movies, did not have a bowel movement problem at all. — Blazing Saddles back in the day it was shown in the theaters was a lot funnier IMO. But some of us don’t need graphic gratuitous over-the-top scenes of grossness in order to laugh. Slapstick plus junior-high humor about bodily functions appeals to a certain mindset I guess.
