John “The Flipper” Kerry theme song…
They call him Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning
No one you see
Is dumber than he
And we know Flipper lives in a life full of blunders
One after another
How bad it must be

“I apologize to NO ONE”! Sorry is, indeed, the hardest word for an arrogant gas-bag like Lurch. Even his belated “apology” was no acceptance of blame. Are we really surprised?

Stuff your sorries in a sack? Bryan, do I detect a Seinfeld reference? If so you have earned immense respect in my eyes.

Of course that’s a Seinfeld reference. I’m convinced that whatever situation you run into in life, Seinfeld covered it at some point.

IMHO, it is a sad state of affairs when Chad and the Lars Larson Show does a better job of reporting the Flipper debacle than does the MSM.
BTW, I look foreward to seeing what his poll results are on the Lurch flap.

Thanks, Bryan, for reminding me of that line. Can’t wait for someone to do me wrong so I can say that when they apologize.

“Education… if you make the most of it, … if you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
It’s clear from listening to his original comment that he had fully formed a coherent if/then/else argument in his brain before he started to speak it. It was thus an intentional argument. There was no mid-stream “misspeech” that I could detect anywhere in there… how ’bout you?
“Look, everybody knows… I botched the joke” = “Everybody *knows*…” [argumentative] + “I botched the…” [telling the truth], “…joke” [lying]. Listen to his voice – IMHO the signs are easily detectable on grainy audio w/o a polygraph.

He does recover his swagger in the very next sentence, however… (the relief of having gotten through the lie?)
