Pure gold.

Got a letter a few weeks ago from our Senator Bingamin (D) and he talks kind of tough AGAINST it, but I don’t know what he REALLY believes. As Dems. go, he is not as insane as most on most issues so it can be hard to tell how he will vote.

Depending on which day it is, Heather is for it or against it this year… She used to be completely against it, but she has run WAY left the last year or so.

Our Governor, Bill Richardson, would gladly repudiate the treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, reverse the Gadsen Purchase, and turn everything over to Mexico if he thought it would get him into the White House, State Department or back in to the UN. He is all for drivers licenses and voting priveleges for illegals, even while he pretends to want everything to be done legally and has pretended to send the NM National Guard down to patrol the border.

Half the ‘regular’ people in New Mexico are for amnesty, because either they ARE illegal aliens themselves, have relatives that they want to come up and join them legally or would like to employ some cheap domestic help or laborers legally.

The other half of the state is against the flood of illegals…. ESPECIALLY most of the LEGAL immigrants who have jumped through all the hoops done everything properly. I also know several hispanic families, descendants of those awarded the earliest Spanish Land Grants who absolutely despise the current crop of illegal aliens.

Seems to me Rep. Wilson would benefit from running for opposing illegal immigration. I have not been following this race – does anyone know what the good folks of NM are thinking about the immigration issue?

I’d love to see the entire debate. This is priceless.

But as a brief historical primer, no candidate for federal office has won a campaign since FDR after explicitly saying they would raise taxes. That’s the third rail of socialist campaigning. Telling her prospective constituents “I’m going to take money from you to make your lives better”, wouldn’t be an opportunity to shine.

Democrats know this, that’s why they run like Clinton, pretending to be something they aren’t. And knowing this, a Republican opponent framing the question that way is more dangerous to them than the theoretical “Is it true that you have stopped beating your spouse?”

Upset? Thanks to Larwyn. I wonder if it’s ever been determined how blacks vote when there’s a black Republican candidate on the ballot. There’s the famous belief that blacks overpoll with whites, presumably because whites want to seem nice and……

Until then, let it cost them elections.

So instead of taking the opportunity to shine, she gave the RNC ammunition. She doesn’t deserve the win.

The pause and fumble after the question any politician would sell his momma for…although I doubt that many of ‘em have mommas….

That was sooo pitiful. I bet she cried and blubbered and sobbed herself to sleep that night after that telling true life DUHHHH…

The Republicans need to line up a whole bundle of these debate clips and campaign ad clips and make one big, “This is what you’re getting if you vote Dhimmicrat!” ad.
