Letterman is quite talented, and so is Oprah.

But unlike most talented entertainers, Oprah is also very intelligent. And it shows in how she handled the interview with O’Reilly.

But not as hot as Michelle.

That must really s**k for them having to go up against Michelle in the sexy department.

O’Reilly is, and always has been, about self-promotion. He rarely goes after a story from a position of principle, and usually throws mud at the left AND right so that he can claim to be the only one in the middle, and retain the rights to the “no spin” trademark. I was always taught that two things you find in the middle of the road are yellow stripes and dead skunks.

While I think O’Reilly can be a weak debater and a bit of a sissy (pisses me off when all of these people fail to mention the 12 years of Dems making the WMD case before the war), that “self-promotion” thing is unfair. Yeah he promotes his books, but so what? First of all, a huge chunk of that money goes to charities, including military charities. He doesn’t have to do that, but he does. Secondly, have you seen his work on Jessica’s law? That’s not about him, it’s about protecting millions of children. You can not like his attitude, but if you’re a regular viewer you’ll see it’s not about “self-promotion”. He does a lot of good work, but everyone has just bought in to the “all he does is yell” crap.

No wonder Adam never complained about God taking one of his ribs.

(Adam wakes up from a deep sleep)

That said, there are a couple of issues where he is as conservative as it gets, and the war is one of them. He did very well to keep his recent talk show appearances focused on the war. When I first watched the Letterman clip, I nearly lost it when Dave called himself thoughtful. To have KP blast him like she did was just priceless.

It’s time to move Hannity & Colmes to the 3AM slot and replace it with Malkin & Powers. Katie who?

It is SO cool that there’s such appreciation at Hotair for, uh, feminine beauty. North Korean nukes and Speaker Pelosi with all due respect, but we know what’s really important in life (said without sarcasm) : )

Bill O’Reilly: It’s all about the ego these days, isn’t it?

Truthfully Hack Ptui, I thought the same thing before I saw him in person last week. His ego is just to command his show. He was really humble in Birmingham for the Business Council of Alabama annual meeting. I believe the message that he is voicing is finally getting a bigger audience than us Conservatives. I believe that he is doing a noble job that other Americans are not stepping up to do.

You are free to voice that question because I had gotten fed up with O’Reilly before last Wednesday. I do not agree with everything that he states, but I do have a new found respect for him after seeing him and reading Culture Warrior.

Unfortunately, here in Austin TX, his morning show is about the only talk radio station that I can get decent reception from, other than Air America.
