“Meat” mufti ups ante

Nice fellow. Australia’s top mufti. Compared women to “meat” and said that when it comes to rape, it’s women’s fault. Apologized taqiyya-style, then came out to tell the world what he really thinks:
AUSTRALIA’S leading Muslim cleric, Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilaly, says he will only resign when the world is “clean of the White House”.
After emerging from Friday prayers at Lakemba Mosque today, Sheik Hilaly was asked by a media pack whether he would quit over a speech in which he said scantily-dressed women invited rape.
“After we clean the world of the White House first,” the sheik said.
Supporters of the sheik cheered and applauded loudly at the comments, which were directed firmly at US President George W Bush.
What does that remind me of…? Oh yeah, this. But don’t, well, you know the drill.
Back to Mean Mr. Mufti.
The sheik has previously described Mr Bush, UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and Prime Minister John Howard as the axis of evil.
Despite calls from within the Islamic community for his resignation, Sheik Hilaly has been assured he has the support of grass-roots Muslims, a supporter said.
Undoubtedly he does. And not all of his support is grass-roots. Some of it is perched a little higher.
The Meat Mufti has been suspended from preaching for three months, but can’t be deported anywhere. He’s an Aussie citizen.
Who’s assimilating whom?

A revered man of the cloth. The highest in the land, and all he can come up with is the SERMON ON THE MEAT! I thought these guys were all profound with revelations and spiritual insight. I think I heard that sermon back in Jersey, when I used to hang out on the corner with the boys. It is better to remain silent and let people think you are an idiot, than to speak your mind and prove it!

I’ve pontificated on this before and have never really come to a conclusion or found a definitive answer – Western countries don’t exile people, do they? If not, why not?
If anyone has thoughts on this, an explanation, or pros & cons, etc., I’d be interested to hear it.

I took a nap today and had the weirdest dream about this guy. I slipped a piece of pork into a crepe he was eating while his back was turned and then walked away and watched him eat it. I didn’t tell anyone, I just chuckled like a mad man and went to go find a copy of the new Tom Clancy game. That was a good dream.

Hey guys, sorry for the OT, but can anyone pinpoint Steve Colbert’s politics? Yes, he ridicules Bush and his Colbert Report ridicules O’Reilly, and he made a stir this year roasting Bush at a White House event, but I’ve just as often seen him eviserate Democratic candidates, as he did Christine Gay of New Jersey, and seems to either unwittingly, or double-gotcha, carry the conservative’s water. What gives? Is he a Dennis Miller Libertarian?

He’s only being honest about Islam’s goals to conquer the world. During the hajj, the annual pilgrimmage to Mecca, Muslims trek to Mina to throw stones at pillars which represent Satan. For the last two years, and probably longer, one of the pillars has been marked “America” or “Death to America.” In other words, Islam identifies America with Satan and has established America as it’s enemy. In other words, Islam has declared America as it’s enemy. This pillar graffitti also is an implicit endorsement of the Sep 11 attacks. Such a doctrine demonstrates that Islam is an evil religion.
So it is hardly a surprise when Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilaly of Australia openly states Islam’s evil intent against America. The only question is when are we going to start taking the Muslims at their word?

as long as your country, my country and Europe have liberal kooks supporting these scum, we have to put up with them…
they should be locked away and hung.. but thats just my opinion,, but if it were actually done, it would be a happy day for justice.

Hey Savage, if you read this, where did you hear about a new Clancy release? It’s not supposed to be out yet, is it?
Thanks!

oops….just noticed you said “game”, not “book”.
I’ve been waiting for the new Clancy book since…..well, I think he signed the 2 book deal in…..what? ….1997???
Sorry.

I just wish there was some way to put American liberals in the same room with an equal number of Islamic Fundamentalists for say….a weekend..
Man, would things change in this country after that “multicultural focus group”…….lol
Hey, how about running 2 separate ads in the Seattle Post Intelligencer. First one advertising an Al-Quaida training camp, and the second one, a “Free Bush Lied Getaway Weekend”.
Send em’ both to the same address at a rental hall in the styx and lock both in as they arrive.
Hmm….Nope, you’re right, Savage……I’d still rather dream about the new Clancy Novel and BBQ ribs.

Am I right to assume that this team-building retreat would involve the use of scimitars?

Any reaction from N.O.W.?
I didn’t think so.

“Blame Bush” really can get you out of any situation.

From one of the articles:
I’m not sure how this cleric can say he was “misinterpreted.” There is nothing to be misinterpreted from this statement. This guy is truly repulsive.
pullingmyhairout on October 27, 2006 at 10:19 AM
I beleive the meat doctrine has already been put forth. The Mufti has the wrong food group though. In 1958 the right reverend Bill Haley from the church of the latter day of rock and roll penned a song. The song addressed the subject of the cat analogy by stating “Like a one eyed cat peeping in a seafood store” So I conclude the mufti has it all wrong. I hereby banish said Mufti the muffdiver for a period of not less than three months for impersonating a learned man.
sonnyspats1 on October 27, 2006 at 10:34 AM
Hmm..Coyote, I see your point….Both sides would have to be disarmed at the door. The “Religion-Of-Peace” would have to surrender all AK-47’s, suicide vests, dynamite , RPG’s, anti-tank personel, IED’s, shoes, shampoo bottles (Ha!) and yes, scimitars.
The liberals would, in fairness, have to relinquish their tin-foil hats, binaca spray, gay pride buttons, antimicrobial hand wipes and greenpeace leaflets.
Hmmm….I’m thinking we may not need to rent the hall for the entire weekend.

Can anyone imagine the WORLDWIDE OUTCRY if these same words came from Billy Graham?
What do you expect? This comes from a respected leader of a cult that blindly follows the rantings of a murder, thief, and pedophile. This comes from a cult still willingly stuck in the Dark Ages yet blames the West for it. This comes from a cult that says, in its most holy scripture, to believe as they do or die. This comes from a cult that likens women to discarded meat freely available to ravaging packs of animals. This comes from a cult that says women are weapons used by Satan to control men.
And we will now hear the loud protests of worldwide women’s groups in 5 … 4 … 3 … 2 … 1 …
… (silence).

Careful about the use of the term “taqiyya.”
You’re going to get Dean Easmay on your case.
EFG on October 27, 2006 at 12:34 PM
Perhaps. Yet the U.S. has deported U.S. citizens who were found to have lied on their citizenship application. Perhaps the same could be done here.
Also, in another article about this guy that you linked in an earlier post, a Australian politician called for him to either be deported or prosecuted for encouraging/inciting rape.
I don’t know if that is feasible, but it suggests that there could be a few other ways to move against this guy.

Australia, France, England, is nowhere safe anymore from the islamic hoardes? Will we ever emerge from our Western comma? I just talked to this dude from France who said “Well, it’s not as bad as they make it sound in the papers, the muslims kids dress like us, they speak French, blah blah blah and they assimilate just like here in the States.” I asked him he caught any fish in Denial. This guy is livin’ in friggin Fantasyland. Hey, maybe if I bury my head in the sand, everything will be A.O.K.! Hey Einstein, the kids who blew up the London Tube ALSO dressed just like us, that only makes ‘em more dangerous ’cause they blend in. The kids who burned half of your country down ALSO dressed like us! WAKE UP FRANCE! Your multi-culti system will be the rope Ahmed will hang you with. By the way, your socialist economic system sucks too. Maybe that’s why he lives here now.

When all else fails blame it on Bush. After all, it was Bush’s fault that he made those comments in the first place. When is everbody going to realize that Bush is the root of all evil – hell, he is the definition of evil. If we could just get him out of office, everything would go back to normal. Al-Qaeda Al-schmaeda, it’s the Bushhitler that we should all be concerned and worried about.
Rick on October 27, 2006 at 1:22 PM
It seems to me that he didn’t say after we clean the White House of Bush first, he said. “After we clean the world of the White House first,”. That sounds more like a threat aimed directly at the United States not just Bush.
I believe it is time to start ridding the world of these types. When are we going to learn that they mean business, and we better do something to make their followers rethink their actions.
Gooch on October 27, 2006 at 1:35 PM
What? Grassroots support in Islam for someone who thinks that rape victims were “asking for it based on not wearing more clothes”?
This can’t be. I was promised “Moderate Muslims” who would rein in the fanatics. We had to win “hearts and minds” of these completely rational but silent majority, who would take back their faith.
There can’t be strong grassroots support for this jack***, and a 75%+ majority of rational moderate Muslim, can there? Especially not in a “western nation”.
“You’re going to get Dean Easmay on your case.”
He should be here, and explain where the “Moderate Muslims” are in the grassroots support of this cleric. Does Australia not have enough Moderates? Is it a hotbed of Islamist radicalism?
Somehow the Moderate Muslims don’t seem to ever remove the leaders who promote this, or say raping Swiss women is not as bad as if they’d raped Arabic, or demanding a convert from Islam to Christianity be killed, or killing women for being raped without sufficient witnesses, or blaming women for adultery, or killing homosexuals, etc.
If the leaders who believe the above get to stay as leadership of the faith, I think we can drop the “Moderate Muslim” meme as non-productive.
So, can Dean Esmay (or others) explain why we need allies who are incapable or unwilling to take any action whatsoever that might be of any value?
There are more rocks in the world than radical Islamists as well, maybe we need diplomatic channels with Geology. It seems equally useful to any possible goals we might have. Sure rocks are incapable of motion, action, or thought; but is there a huge differnce (from the outside) between incapable and wholly unwilling?
gekkobear on October 27, 2006 at 1:37 PM
Yes, but the left and MSM will see and construe it as Bush’s fault – Bush’s failed foreign policy.
Rick on October 27, 2006 at 2:10 PM
Put aside for a moment what this guy is saying about women, and consider what he’s saying about men. It’s basically this: any man who sees an immodestly dressed woman is essentially compelled to rape her. I’ve talked about this in other forums, but here in the West, we have men looking at immodestly dressed women all the time, and statistically speaking, pretty much no one gets raped (yes, I know rapes do occur, but as a percentage of the number of times a man sees an immodestly dressed woman, it’s negligable). What does that say about the self control of Western men vs. that of their Muslim counterparts?
Farmer_Joe on October 27, 2006 at 2:33 PM
Sorry Rick,
I wasn’t directing my post at you it just got submitted after yours. I agree with what you said. My only point was that we need to pay attention to what these bastards are saying and do something about it. I used to think that we as a country should not assassinate leaders, but my mind has been changed over the past few years. I now believe we need to do it, but not take credit for it. As the followers watch their leader die one by one they may rethink their cause.

Quote #2:
That is an interesting leap between the quotes. He does not say “After we clean the world of George Bush.” He said, “After we clean the world of the White House first.”
Helloooo??? What on earth makes anyone think that asshats like this will ever do anything but want to subjugate the entire United States? It would serve him right if someone slipped him a Mickey Finn, shaved all his hair off, put him in a mini-skirt, and set him on the front steps of his friendly neighborhood mosque. Now that would be sweet… Maybe he would learn a little something about what the rest of the world likes to call self-control.
