Stop the ’sanctuary cities’ , build fences, allow for instant deportation, go after the companies that hire Illegals, go after the illegals. Yes, deport them, all we can find. It wont happen overnight, but it’s better than letting them stay. Thousands of honest people are trying to get here the legal way. You spit in their faces, not me.
The economy will drive right thru a few price increases, produce will go up a little, etc.

The Congress is not the ones to go after! Congress PASSED HR 4437- the enforcement-only bill in December ‘05. (scroll to the bottom) It’s an awesome bill without amnesty that goes after employers and enforces current laws. The SENATE weenies punted it and proposed the Amnesty bill (S. 2611 I think) in its place. You can compare the two here.

That is so easy that no one believes it will work. If you remove the jobs that ILLEGALS are getting then they will go home of their own accord. The few die hards will then be easy to deal with.

IMHO, Left-behind is right. Existing law allows us to hit businesses that employ ILLEGALS, and if we actually started doing that the rest would quickly capitulate. The undocumented workers would return to their countries en-masse, and those few who remained would be easy to handle.

I wonder if there is a method availiable to punish municipalities that harbor ILLEGALs …

This we got off on the wrong foot. Probably because I don’t write as clearly as I think! My daughter (CA) has been after me for months to support Tancredo. Your main point in the last ‘target the employeers’is exactly what I want, along with a border shut down and scrubbing of each and every person who wants in. My thick tongue gets in the way of my mouth sometimes.
